Angola - Human-Zoalord Hybrid Hunter-Guyver IV, my characters Guyver. Originally all black and red. But recently added the dark blue and Grey. Loosely based off of Sean and Crane's Guyvers from the second movie. And before anyone says I copied their color scheme with the black and red know this. Those 2 colors have a more significant reason in my fic. For he is based off of me, who has native blood, and Black and Red are war colors to a good bunch of native tribes. so i left it ambiguous to avoid spoilers. i did a re-sketch and colour and used the original image as a bloom effect to provide consistency. yeah i know it's my avatar, but as my avatar does not say where the picture is from, anybody can assume it's guyot from earlier on or an original sketch or whatever. or maybe not even guyot.

Having referenced this comic in one of my blogposts, I've decided to upload the pages that I have done. Much to my frustration, I drew the first page 3-4 years ago and the rest last year. I was on such a roll, until I hit 'art block'. I'm really annoyed at myself for leaving it so long, but this is one of my most treasured stories and I want it to be given the proper care it deserves...unfortunately this leads me to doubt my ability at every point, and its easier to let it gather dust - I'm a far better writer and I'm thinking that I might just write out all the scenarios I want, get them into an order I'm happy with and then tackle this...I just hope I don't take too lon…

While I was riding the bus to the mall to meet up with a friend this morning, I was thinking about a sketch from the show "Robot Chicken" involving a bus. I then thought of various disasters that could happen in a city and started to picture certain people becoming Power Rangers. Thing is, all I could decide on were the colors and the first name of one of the Rangers. The Ranger colors are Red, Blue, Green, Yellow & Pink. I can't figure out their motifs or the villains. Is this a good start???

It occurred to me, after re-watching the first 5 eps of the Guyver TV series on Blu-Ray, that I haven't ever posted my chibi Guyver pics on the forum here... Dunno why... But I can safely assume that laziness, or absent-mindedness probably plays a bit part. Some of them are kind old, and a few characters need newer pics... But that Blu-Rays are helping me get in the mood for that =P The first batch is kind old, 2-3 years old, and done in an inferior paint program ( ie Shii Painter Paintchat).
