Hi guys, As you probably recall in the Guyver thread I posted the Rogue Productions fan dub. I am already working on our next project, Dragon's Century. However I am having some trouble finding the OST/alternate music to use. So I was looking for another production to run alongside DC (to try and keep the dubbing juices going and not stalling on 'material searching'), I already have some ideas for projects but again finding materials for them is being a pain i.e. Decent RAWs without any subs. The cast looks cool, but has anyone seen the new suit? It looks like rubber with spandex showing through. I like the black glass mask (with red eye line), and his gun; but the rest just feels like a horrible batman rip off. And seriously, letting him keep a human hand? Please tell me an actor just took a glove off for a second. Hopefully the movie makes up for the crappy costume

Just thought I would share this cool show with you guys called Famikamen Rider it is a spin-off series of Jewario's you can play this show where he discusses imported games that are good and don't need to learn japanese in order to play them, Famikamen Rider is similar only it discusses everything Tokusatsu related from movies to manga to games. I'll just post a few videos and wait to see if you guys like it. This particular episode discusses what the guy who played Kamen Rider Ichigo did when he was not doing rider stuff as well as some very cool trivia about him, this is the main reason why I decided to post this thread.

Back to a topic that i started a while back MMPR vs Super Sentai - who wins ?? so thanks to a few episodes i had seen before and after watching Dekaranger i thought 'hey why not watch all of S.P.D'?? so i did... Now i remember reading in certain places that people felt that S.P.D was good, even better than Dekaranger!.... now all i can say to that is Bullshit!!! I could not sleep so I was just checking out any tokusatsu news and I stumbled upon this juicy bit, apparently the name for the 37th super sentai series has already been registered called Jyuden Sentai Kyoryuger , From what i have gathered the name implies that the theme for this particular series will be of dinosaurs again which is not a bad idea to me since it would have to be about 20 years give or take since Zyuranger and Power Rangers was aired so it could be yet another tribute to both series, any speculations and confirmations of the name are welcomed and as soon as I see some images for this new series I will share it with you. So I have been wanting to start my Gundam Model Collection but am really picky about crossing model series, if possible I would like to stick to one model series. I know most of the model series require you painting them yourself but I already have a hard time finding time painting my 40k Tyranid army. I'm sure this is a gundam model series that already comes prepainted were you just assemble the parts. Does anyone know of which model series I should look up? I've tried googling: Prepainted Gundam Model Series but only got a list of "How to Paint" model tutorails. Thanks for any help! =]

I'm not happy with the crummy design on kamen rider of late. I was writing about it in the wizard thread so I thought I'd move on over here so as not to go off topic too much. how should we design kamen rider? or in other words, let;s look upon the failings of the official designs, then think about the theme of the series and try and formulate some more appropriate ideas and maybe even better designs. Yeah, there was an anime of the same name but I am referring to more of it's original counterpart, the manga. I've heard a lot of people complain about the main character in Linebarrel, and it is true, the anime made the lead character way too annoying. But after reading the manga, you get to see the character develop. But I'm posting this not because of the characters, but because of the plot. I have to tell you that the main plot of the anime is completely different from the manga. im not sure this is worthy of a topic but it was just a thought i had... has anyone else noticed that Super sentai tends to use pyrotechnic/ firework type explosions where as kamen rider tends to use petrol/ gasoline??? i think its a good reflection on the tone of the series ... i.e super sentai is a bot more controlled and family friendly where as masked rider is a bit more unpredictable and edgy?? ?????????????????????????

Well, after a very long time the Dragon Ball Z series is getting another movie and it is called Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. The story takes place after the fight with Buu but before Pan is born, a new foe appears in the form of Bill the God of destruction who awakens after a long sleep to find out that Freezer has been defeated by a Saiyan warrior which triggers a memory of his that he was told that the legendary Super Saiyan God would defeat him, exited over this he heads out to earth to face the Z warriors and find the Super Saiyan God or a worthy opponent. Greetings! I was wondering if anyone would happen to have some recommendations for some Gamera films? I am a huge Tokusatsu fan and have been trying to expand my growing taste. I would also appreciate any other Toku film recommendations.

The dark tokusatsu series Garo will be getting a new season which starts April 5th of this year. A new Ultraman mini series has been announced. Ginga is a part of Shin Ultraman Retsuden (an Ultraman clip show). I wonder if this Baltan is suppose to be an updated Mecha Baltan from Andro Melos, a more cybernetic Baltan, or something else. Although I wish this was a full blown series instead of a mini series, I am still excited for this.

A new season is upon us, and thus a hoarde of new shows. So, what are you watching? Surprisingly, there is a few series this season that I actually am watching. Majority are mecha shows ( 3 of em! Wow!), but one is not. Valvrave the Liberator - Sunrise's mecha show for the season. At the time of writing I think only episode 1 is out, but so far it seems decent. Another " Young boy ends up in powerful mecha" series. Definately more on the serious side of the spectrum, but not Grim/Dark... so far.
