  1. Yeah, I think this is possible. I'm always constantly thinking of the concept of hangliders.
  2. Ah I see. Were you using the default map or did you download a map via nokia maps updater and then download the map to your phone? I'm sure I've read reviews from someone in the UK that the details are amazing. I mean, why would the UK map have around 150mb of data if it lacks details? Also something that you might not like. You can only use the navigation for a limited time. After the free trial ends, you'd have to pay for the navigation. But you can still use the map, it just won't tell you how to get from point A to point B.
  3. Well, the friends are actually getting on my nerves. Borrowing money and taking advantage of the poor guy. Okay, I'll give it a chance by watching the full episode.
  4. Well, compared to the OVI maps, Google maps is much more detailed, since the maps there are often updated. OVI maps is practically useless for my country since it lacks the complete details. But with an onboard AGPS, the google maps are practically useless on locations with no data connection. Another drawback for google maps is that it doesn't provide point to point navigation. I guess this solely depends on how you use the navigation system. What about OVI maps that you didn't like. Is it the system menu, the map details, or just orientation of the map? Since my OVI map lacks details and google maps require data connection, I really can't compare with both in terms of usage.
  5. Tried watching Binbo Danshi. Just halfway the first episode, I stopped. Didn't like how the main protagonist was portrayed. I guess the show just isn't for my taste.
  6. I fail to see how people would be able to do that seeing that you have provided little to no information about yourself. I don't think people would persevere looking at thousands of picture with your discription. Heck, there's probably a hundred more people with the same picture. Sorry, I just find this post too funny, and I just can't resist.
  7. Oh, I must have missed that. hehe. Anyway, like I previously said, I didn't bother creating a facebook account of my own since I'm not really into the social networking kind of stuff. Besides, I don't want to add 200+ friends again. Because even if I make it discreet, its bound to be found out by the others, and I don't want to hear their incessant request to add them.
  8. Nice page. Although might be a bit awkward to post since I don't have a facebook account. I find it strange (or expected) that Ryuki and Deka are not friends in facebook.
  9. So, is the Japan Legend group facebook available? Also, will it be open for everyone to view or just those who have been confirmed as friends?
  10. That is exactly what playing the piano is about. Passion. The more passionate the pianist, the more moving the piece would be. To really feel the music can give out the best of the performance. Simply playing the notes based on the score is not enough. This is what great conductors want from their orchestra, musicians playing by their hearts, not by the notes. This is also the reason why there is a conductor. If the orchestra simply plays by note, what need would there be for a conductor?
  11. Yes, this does seem like a pissing contest. But one just cannot resist the urge to post. I will try to take a look at Binbo Danshi. It looks interesting enough. As for my recommendations, I would suggest everyone to watch Densha Otoko. Being anime fans that we are, we can relate to the lead character who is an "Otaku" (do note, "Otaku" as a derogatory term, not as a fanboy, as his fanboyism is really extreme), with various references to different anime. However, the story is not mainly about an "otaku", but how he tries to court a girl with the help of online friends. Ugh.... this sounds so like a certain topic I made which I would like to forget. Moving on..... I would also like to recommend the K-drama Lovers. Not really everyone's cup of tea. It's a romance story between a Plastic Surgeon and a Mob boss. I'm also looking into watching Yama onna Kabe onna. About two working woman and their differences in breast size, hence the titular Kabe (wall=flat chested) and Yama (mountain=big boobed).
  12. You definitely can't go wrong with Berserk. As for Macross Frontier, the Valkyrie designs were cool. There wasn't much emphasis on the mechs, but more on the character. And yet again, it involves a love triangle, a famous singer, the music and a Valkyrie pilot as with all the other Macrosses. The massive mech Macross Quarter was cool though.
  13. Interesting. I liked that piece. I don't know why, but it's probably because it was played on the piano. Here's one of my favorite from the movie Corpse Bride:
  14. Were talking about drama in general right? Well, here are some of the shows that I have seen. Masked Rider V3 Masked Rider Black Masked Rider Ryuki Masked Rider Blade Masked Rider Kabuto Masked Rider Kiva Masked Rider Decade Masked Man Bioman Goggle Five Jetman Fiveman Galvan Shaider Jiban Machineman Janperson Ultraman Tiga Ultraman Dyna Godzilla Godzilla vs Biolante Gransazer Densha Otoko (J-drama) Gokusen (J-drama) Nodame Cantabile (J-drama) Maison Ikkoku (J-drama) Tokyo Wankei (J-drama) Kimi wa Petto (J-drama) Deathnote Lovers (K-drama) These are just on the top of my head. There are others more. I just can't remember them right now.
  15. Just throwing in a couple of cents. Perhaps that Aptom's cells are being altered constantly. I mean, instructions can be written to the genetic level of the DNA, so won't it also be possible to do the same for memory? In terms of capacity, I don't think Aptom's brain being limitless. I'm sure Aptom also forgets somethings to make way for memories like any regular joe. My point, every time he gains a new memory, his genetic code might get altered to accomodate new memories. I guess this could be another attribute to Aptoms evolution, since his DNA are constantly unstable. Perhaps his cells work the other way around. Memories are stored in the cells instead of information like instincts and the like, and awaits instructions when the brain is formed. Isn't this how Evil Aptom was conceived? Am I making any sense at all?
  16. Don't we already have them like and ...... okay, so that's the only one. I think it would be appropriate to expand it since we are also catering to KR along with Guyver. I like the SD ones, particularly the Kamen Rider Chiva from Deka's avatar. Perhaps you might want to patern them on the Deforide toys that are currently out.
  17. I was going to suggest having another site where we can still make conversation when the server acts up again like it did the other day. But anyway, I play Farmville and Restaurant City. But I don't have a facebook account. How? The account I play with is not mine. Didn't bother creating one just to play it. Also, it will reveal at lot about me if you guys added that particular account, something which I would rather not disclose.
  18. A not necessarily well-prepared student sat in his life science classroom, staring at a question on the final exam paper. The question directed: “Give four advantages of breast milk.” What to write? He sighed, and began to scribble whatever came into his head, hoping for the best: 1. No need to boil. 2. Never goes sour. 3. Available whenever necessary. So far so good – maybe. But the exam demanded a fourth answer. Again, what to write? Once more, he sighed. He frowned. He scowled, then sighed again. Suddenly, he brightened. He grabbed his pen, and triumphantly, he scribbled his definitive answer: 4. Available in attractive containers of varying sizes. He received an A.

  20. 120mb may be big for an internal memory, but that just isn't enough for other storage. My phone comes with a 1GB memory, but it's barely enough for me. I use my phone as an mp3 player so imagine how much space it would require. Not to mention that the maps from nokia maps 3 eats up a lot of storage. China alone is already 500mb. But I guess this depends on each user.
  21. My, that is one frustrations about the E63. You'd thought that being an multimedia phone they would also include a data cable. Doesn't even have a memory card correct? I guess they call this "E for Economy" for a reason. How about bluetooth? There's got to be some way you can use the pc suite. Don't tell me the package doesn't include a PC suite installer?
  22. That's strange. I went to the official website of nokia and had it downloaded there. I'm sure E63 is supported. Yup. it's there: http://www.nokia.co.uk/apps-and-services/ovi-maps/downloads-and-services Since you won't be needing the navigation, you don't need an unsigned installer or hack your phone. (But yes, I hacked my phone). At first I installed the official version and it worked pretty well. Although it's useless for me since the map in our region is kinda less detailed. But it still works. I downloaded it because I needed the maps for the other countries (like China and Singapore). But I saw the map for UK and it has a whopping 156MB, 19.5mb for wales. So you'd expect a rich detail when you check the map.
  23. Oh, I though when you installed Google mobile, you also installed gmail. Anyway, I'm now trying to download Nokia Maps 3 (or Ovi Maps). I managed to find a crack that would allow me use navigation indefinitely. I think this will be very useful to you since it has a complete map of the UK. Also allows you to get your position even without GPS using your network connection (much like google). Just another question. Does your phone have a stop watch? Because I don't seem to have one in mine. This feature seems to be missing in some of the more modern phones.
  24. Well, I've been searching around and I've come across Nokia Maps 3, which I think might be useful to you. I think our phones are only preloaded with Nokia Maps 2, as version 3 is still on beta testing. You can download maps to your phone and use it for free. And I think what you need to pay for is the ability to navigate, which would be kinda useless for you. Perhaps you might want to try it out. I'll try to get my hands on version 3 when I get home. Also, how do you find the separate Gmail client? I'm using the default email client of the phone to access my gmail and I'm not really that impressed with it, since the interface pretty much looks similar to the interface of the text messaging.
  25. I see, so you really do need to be connected to the server, as the maps being loaded are real-time. That would explain the traffic updates, even though it's only available to a few select areas. In a way, to use google map, you'd have to either spend really less due to free wifi, or an insane amount of money due to data connections to your carrier network, especially when you're overseas. So your saying this is basically a mobile version of google earth? Do you think there is some way to have the maps downloaded to you handset so you can use it offline? I'd imagine the current google map would be worthless to you when you travel since you really need a data connection to use it, unless the city you are in have free unlimited wifi. I guess that would explain the 1mb file size when I tried downloading it. Man, and I was so hyped when you mentioned how cool google map was. But then again, I guess this can be seen as a poor man's GPS, that is if you don't account for the insane carrier fees. The good thing about this is that the maps are always updated, since it needs you to be connected all the time.
