  1. I'm not much into starbucks either. Too rich for me. The only time I go to a starbucks is if I was asked to, or have a meeting. You might call me a social coffee drinker, as I don't really drink coffee. But Tea, that's the way for me.
  2. Tapioca pearls are something similar to Jello. Tapioca is a starch extracted from a certain plant native in brazil or the amazon. Checking it out on wiki, I thnk you guys call it milk pudding thickened with arrowroot. And seriously? No starbucks there? I find it weird, since starbucks is so aggressive in opening stores, they open 2 stores just right beside each other. Also, I've checked wikipedia (my best friend for quick information), and apparently, tea was already being served as a beverage in China since 200BC. I think the Tea was imported to the British at around 16th from trade ships coming from China. Well, you can check out wikipedia for the details since I'm not really an expert on tea. Though in China, we don't mix milk with tea, nor do we add sugar. We drink them as is.
  3. Don't worry, mangareaders have them online. That's where I usually read them. Also, I think Madara let loose the bigass statue because he learned that the 8 tails and 9 tails are heading to him. Kinda makes him think that his plan is finally complete, as he has this impression that he can succesfully capture the 8 and 9 tails.
  4. Irish Alzheimers Murphy showed up at Mass one Sunday and the priest almost fell down when he saw him. He'd never been to church in his life. After Mass, the priest caught up with him and said, "Murphy, I am so glad ya decided to come to Mass. What made ya come?" Murphy said, "I got to be honest with you Father, a while back, I misplaced me hat and I really, really love that hat. I know that McGlynn had a hat just like mine and I knew he came to church every Sunday. I also knew that he had to take off his hat during Mass and figured he would leave it in the back of church. So, I was going to leave after Communion and steal McGlynn's hat." The priest said, "Well, Murphy, I notice that ya didn't steal McGlynn's hat. What changed your mind?" Murphy replied, "Well, after I heard your sermon on the 10 Commandments, I decided that I didn't need to steal McGlynn's hat after all." With a tear in his eye the priest gave Murphy a big smile and said; "After I talked about 'Thou Shalt Not Steal' ya decided you would rather do without your hat than burn in Hell?" Murphy slowly shook his head. "No, Father, after ya talked about 'Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery' I remembered where I left me hat."
  5. A wife asked her husband to describe her.... He said, "You're A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K." She said, "What does that mean?" He said, "Adorable, Beuatiful, Cute, Delightful, Elegant, Foxy, Gorgeous, Hot" She said, "Oh that's so lovely. what about I, J, K?" He said, "---I'm Just Kidding!!!" ...nobody knows if this man is still alive!!
  6. I'm not sure if you'd consider this as "Tea", but recently I've been having cravings for Milk Tea. it's tea infused with flavored milk, more commonly known as Bubble Tea. This is usually a cold mixture with tapioca pearls. But I' don't like the tapioca, and instead opt for the pudding. Several stores over here are offering a variety of tea drinks, and it's actually putting pressure over Starbucks. Starbucks was forced to offer their frap at 50% off from lunch to 2PM, which I think was due to the appearance of tea bars. Unless of course this was a global thing. I said this because my office mates used to go to Starbucks after lunch. Now, they all go have Milk Tea instead of Starbucks.
  7. Rasengan literally means "Spiral Ball". Looking at how the rasengan works, it would require the swirling or spiraling of the chakra into a small ball. So when it first appeared, it's pretty much explanatory. However, it was pretty awesome for the 4th to be able to come up with the technique from the Kyubi. I can imagine how much more powerful Konoha would be if the 4th was still alive in the present day. I'm clearly impressed with the 4th and his legacy. The meeting with his son almost put me to tears. And I was awestrucked when I saw how he sealed the Kyubi. Literally jaw dropping.
  8. With the Kyubi's chakra up for grabs, I think it would be easier for Naruto to make an army of shadow clones. And if he managed to master sage mode easily while in training, imaging what an army of naruto could do. Also, I don't think Madara would need Naruto anymore. I think instead of Naruto, he'll just go for the KinGin brothers. Why else is he be after the bigass urn?
  9. Uh... yes, I'm updated with the manga. I don't think kyubi mode has been animated yet. I thought you were referring to his dash towards the war zone, which he was in kyubi mode, wasn't he?
  10. So he can go Sage mode while in Kyubi mode? That haven't cross my mind yet. So he's uber powerful now? But I'm starting to think that the fights now are power based instead of skill based. With Naruto getting a huge powerup, what kind of development did he have in terms of skill?
  11. Argh! I can't get the push mail in my Nokia C3 to work. I've managed to make it work in my E66, but the C3 just won't work. I'm using Outlook Web Access by the way, which Nokia Messaging does not support, so I had to get a third party software, emoze. It works like a charm for E66, but somehow, I can't login on my C3. What gives?
  12. I still haven't gotten my SIC W yet, and now I've read that the next SIC coming out will be Fang Joker and Skull! How SIC is that! I sure do hope they re-release the previous main riders. it's really difficult acquiring them nowadays.
  13. It's a little difficult to get the origin comic of Captain America, but there are a lot of Captain America comics that would eat up your time. If you want to find out about his origin, wikipedia seems to be the quickest way. But there are recommended reads. The Captain America comic itself is already in issue 617. It's very difficult to acquire all of them, but you can easily get them through back channels.
  14. Like I mentioned previously, Gundam 00 is a good series to continue. It's independent as it is contained in its own universe like how Gundam Wing and Endless Waltz are in one single continuity. If you don't want to get wrapped up in the vast Gundam Universe, it be best to skip the UC timeline as mentioned in the previous post by Mirabilis, which pretty much covers everything. If you're looking for Epic anime, I can name tons of them, as they're pretty much what I'm into. Though I haven't seen much anime lately. I think it's either I can't find any anime that are interesting anymore or I have already outgrown watching anime. *shocks* I hope not.
  15. durendal replied to ErutanXiku's topic in Philosophy
Meh, it goes on and on about victories, being heroic, leaving things behind and what you achieved in your life. Basically it's saying that you should live life to the fullest. Now that I think about it, it has nothing to do with the topic. So not to veer too off the topic, I'd like to think of the soul as something parellel to Alpha Waves.
  16. For the love of God! Avoid Gundam Seed at all cost unless you want to endure watching Emo characters going emo. Well, Seed is somewhat tolerable, but Seed Destiny is unbearable. You can't go wrong with Macross. It's a classic. As for Tytania, it's great. Too bad it's still unfinished. I'm still trying to find the novel so I can find out what happens to Van Hyulik as well as the other Tytania Count, presuming that it's already written.
  17. Yes, old, but still epic to this day. You got to wonder how the Gundam franchise managed to survive for more than 30 years and still going strong.
  18. Then please stop complaining. Sorry to say this bluntly, but I sometimes find your post to be quite offensive.
  19. I don't have any. Perhaps you would like to post some yourself.
  20. Hmm.... in a nutshell? I guess you could say political drama and personal tragedy with a slice of life. Of course one that involves giant robots. You don't need to watch all of the Gundam to get into the franchise as there are quite a few series which are independent of the other series. For starters, you might want to check out Gundam 00. It has only 2 seasons, is quite modern (actually the latest series), and you can watch it without any prior knowledge of the franchise since it is contained in its own universe. Additionally, all the good Gundam Series are somewhat old. Z Gundam came out in like 1988, so the quality of animation is very far from the current ones. That alone might discourage you from watching them. But if you're looking for great story like a Space Opera, gundam also caters to this as well. I think you may have caught what I would call anime addiction, as it looks like you are having withdrawal when you're not watching any series.
