I still prefer the drama involving the Transformers. The first transformers movie (the animated one in the 80's, mind you) left me in awe because of the emotions that they showed. I think this was the movie that defined Optimus Prime as an Icon. Coming out of the shuttle, slowly transforming and ramming a bunch of decepticons then flying in the air precisely shooting another set of decepticons. That scene itself was already a grand moment in the transformers universe. Tell me the match between Optimus and Megatron then wasn't epic!

Why is it that you keep on attracting the wrong kind of girl? Must be the royalty thing.

Found this wonderful trailer featuring the shield fighting scenes from the movie. I gotta say, I love the way he swings his shield around. Exquisitely wonderful.

Correction, before all that House of M mess, Spiderman was never a full fledge Avenger. He was only a reserved avenger and never officially joined the team. And based on the direction Marvel has on the avengers movie, which features the original 1963 roster of Avenger, Spiderman is definitely NOT part of it.

It would be best if you forget the movie you once saw. None of the earlier movies managed to do Justice to Captain America. Even the last movie back in 1990 that stared Matt Salinger, which I think was best among all the others, is still far from the Cap that I know. With regards to Cap's fighting style, he can be considered as one of the best hand to hand combat experts in the Marvel Universe, even matching that of Wolverine. It would be cool if Logan had a cameo in this, but it's highly doubtful seeing that Marvel still doesn't have the rights to the X-men movie.

I'm afraid not, since sony still holds the rights for the Spiderman franchise. I think it would be a few more years before the rights revert back to Marvel, where that is the only time that they can attach Spiderman to the marvel cinematic universe.

It most certainly will do. Even the trailer which shows Steve Rogers prior to his transformation, it already made me feel good. The scene with the trash bin lid and the thrown Grenade, its inspiring. Just watching the trailer already gives me goosebumps. I can't imagine how I will feel when I actually see the movie. I'll probably go screaming like a crazy fan girl. I'm even thinking of taking time off work just to see this on the first day! (Obviously I'm obsessed)

I don't have much experience with the whole Godzilla franchise but I did managed to see some of the classics which features Biolanate, Mecha Godzilla and Mothra. Comparing it to the US version, film quality wise, the US version has the upper hand in terms of cinematography. But I just can't help think that the American version of Godzilla was just a glorified dinosaur.

Just saw this movie last Saturday. Well, I didn't hate it, that's for sure. Optimus' trailer was cool by the way. And yes, way too much human drama. Also, not sure if it was just me, but I noticed something about the speech patterns of Optimus. Every time he speaks, it's like he is narrating. His voice sounds so grand that I feel that when he speaks, your focus shifts to his words and not on what is happening. I also get the feeling that you can quote all his lines in the movie. You know what I'm saying?

I would like the scans of the Sentai Mechs, but I'm not going to be able to do anything about them at the moment, since I haven't started working on the Sentai Wiki pages yet. I think I can incorporate the articles about the Kamen Riders into the wiki, like interviews and the sorts. I'm actually thinking about how to make the wiki pages look like your browsing a magazine. I got this idea from an iPad facebook app that automatically arranges your wall posts and styles them like your reading a magazine.

I really can't say at the moment because what caught my eye was the sentai robo book. They have lot's of many shiny stuff. . For the newtype, I think it's your call, didn't really see much of the contents so I really can't say what to scan. And of course I do understand your concern for the welfare of the books. I myself am hesitant in scanning some of my Japanese manga. But if it's only the information we want, I guess a clear hires photo of the section would do nicely. But for the nice images, I'm afraid I have no sense of artistry to determine what photos would look nice. I'll have to rely on you for that.

Hmm... they do seem to be broken. I think any form of help would be very beneficial. Especially now that I find out that those links I provided are down. This is actually a big find, since I think those books of yours might contain detailed information on specific merchandise. I especially liked the Sentai book that compiles all the mechs of all sentais. I have to admit, the sentai series is a daunting task that I'm not sure I'm prepared to start it any time soon. Though I do hope we'll eventually get there. For the moment, I think it would be great if you could scan a couple or more relevant pages so we can add it to the wiki.

I don't know, he looks kinda fat. For someone who has to be very nimble, the new image makes him look like a moving target. Granted, he looks insanely strong, the new image sure looks awfully familiar. But now he looks more space worthy than the previous image.

This started showing 2 days ago. Has anyone seen it yet? I think I'd rather wait for the hype to go down before watching. I hate waiting in lines for cinemas. If you did happen to see this, what's your verdict? Most of my colleagues are scheduled to watch this tonight and I admit I'm a bit envious that they're going to watch it tonight. But I'd rather wait a week or two before watching. Could save me a lot of headaches.

WOOHOO!!! Finally got my S.I.C. W Cyclone Joker! I'll post pics of the box when I get home. I've already got a number of S.I.C. but I have never opened any of them. I guess I'm still looking for a suitable display case before I finally open them. I have a lot of figures that are still boxed.

If things go sour, it can be easily rolled back right? I always say, if there is minimal to no cost, then why not? However, if there is cost involved, you'd have to weight the benefits if it is proportional to the said costs.

There were a lot of them wearing yellow and black after they suited up. But there was a guy that the protagonists tried to approach, and he just told them to "f*** off"". Was in a Japanese bar drinking alone, and by god, he hasn't aged one bit.

I can't believe I saw this today. I have to say I quite enjoyed the movie, despite all the continuity loopholes it got. I have to ask, while Charles was using Cerebro, I saw a kid with sunglasses. It immediately made me think that is Scot Summers. But Scot is the older brother of Alex, and Alex here is a teenager. Just something to ponder about. If I got it all wrong, then forget I said anything.

I don't know about you guys, but I find this video kinda cool. Not the song, but how the song was played. How often do you see head banging in a classical concert??
