CAMPAIGN: Thanks for the further emails kenji. i just wondered if there was any other direct mway of getting in touch with Max Factory but it seems Goodsmile is the next best thing. i have rewritten the email and i have written a 'plee' to tell people what we need from them .i think they will be OK. just another thought - shall we ask for them to put a subject heading of' Guyver' or leave that to the individual if they put antything or not? on one hand it could just be easier for the recipient to tell but on the other it may force them to open the email if they dont know what it is...?

thanks for the speedier scanlation now i can read the 4 pages of conspiracy theories!! great chapter, i loved the double page spread as Apollon was taking Mizuki and Tetsuro away behind Aptom and also the last 4 pages were very fitting, silent panels the shots odf the graves and a big ariel wide shot of the Guyver crews base up in flames, end of an era and onto the next which is welcome really as now the story is into another gear. to be honest i dont care if Apollon is a new character because whoever he is and whatever hes doing for whoever, the fact remains that it is shaking the story up bigtime, not that it needed it, but as i said in another topic, if this is how Takaya is threading things together then its fine by me. i wouldnt say it is approaching lame either way. its enjoyable, so who cares!?! who envisioned Apollon coming into the picture, did anyone imagine that?? someone coming and laying the smack down on the zoalords? im just enjoying this as its WTF moments galore... The possibilities are many, i think Purgstall's post on the previous page makes sense, but who knows... Imakarum????????????? Apollon could be affiliated with the rebel Zoalords, why hasnt he gone after them yet? i do think that the Creators have something to do with it. when he arrived at the mansion and announces himself as '' Apollon - one who returns everything to nothing'' that could be alluding to the fact that before the creators came there was nothing on earth and now they have sent apollon to return it back that way??? if the creators are back -Shou and Cronos pairing up against them?? dont know how i feel about that, Shou and Agito maybe... aagh my head hurts so i'll just stop and enjoy it just for fun i'll throw this out there - what if Apollon is Agito??

i cant really fault anything you've said and agree on most. i would say though without explaining in detail that there are forms of energy that we arent readily aware of that do exsist and we have access to. but aside from that when you say - i personally believe that is not true and it is possible to retain the self without our brain and all its electrical signals as a house for our consciousness. but of course these are my beliefs, im just making my point here

double post but whatever! i jut sent emails to Goodsmile and Akiyama. i wonder if its worth asking people to just copy and paste an email an send it to them, even if they dont intend on buying figures right away? Surely Guyver fans who would not immediatley go and buy the figures still have an interest in them and would like thier fellow Guyver fans to have the chance to get them?...in one way it might just be annoying for those individuals getting the emails but it would show that there are people interested. i only read the last 2 chapters last night and what a cliff hanger that was.. so now im hanging for a scanlation on this chapter as i cant allow myself to read what happens i nead to ''read'' what happens!!

re; Gigantic - yeah G1 should only be as tall as GG's abs or Gigantic should be another inch or so taller, but hey the figures are still cool, so oh well! great stuff Kanji - i like youre background idea ( -so ive stolen it see below! ) imakarum looks cool and HZT 5. you should get some fighting poses going, or at least the guyvers posed as if fighting because the zoanoids arent articulated are they?? just to say if you were bothered by the stands in the pics or for display the figures do stand up by themselves, just dont bump where they are!!.. i only use stands for action poses!! oh and my gigantic one is broke if anyone has a spare waist clip thing ( the one im using doesnt swivel and is from something else. heres some pics of mine, i blatantly nicked your idea for the background, sorry but yours reminded me that i recently sold some Guyver comics but before i sent them off i photocopied some of the art to A3 size and what a good oppurtunity to use one! a Sunday post reminder! Also here is my revised paraphrased version of all the Prologue. i think all the 'he' 'i' and whatever else, is sorted now Guyver Novel Prologue Page 1 = Page 6 in book Up until now, he had only lost consciousness once. While he was playing tag at kindergarten, by chance his foot slipped on the concrete genko and he hit his head. In an instant, the scenery began to spin, he thought he could see the vividness of the blue sky, then it faded to total darkness, and he was unconscious, not knowing anything at all. When he regained consciousness, he was lying in a tatami-matted room, his mother was peeping in with a worried face. He thought that this was still the kindergarten so how come his mother was there?, He still remembers that now. What was more mysterious, was that he remembered the total darkness from when he lost consciousness. Even though he had lost his senses, and shouldn't have been able to perceive anything, he still knew of that time. ....right now, the same thing was happening. When he saw the surrounding scenery, he knew that he had been inside the darkness. Page 7. He came to and there was no mistake that he had lost consciousness. His senses had returned. However, there was something strange about the state of his being. What he could see was much more distinct than usual. Nevertheless he could feel a distance from the physical world. Then, there was a strange silence. As if he was trying to absorb what was happening. He looked at the scene with absent mindedness. It was a meadow enclosed in the forrest. In front was a swamp. ...then in the corner of his eye, he saw something move. Slowly, looking at Him. Stood in the meadows grass that was nearly as tall as their hips, was a boy in school uniform wearing a frightened expression. With hands up in surprise, they both stepped back. (that figure, I recognise him) {....Tetsurou.....san?} He was bewildered by his own voice. Though it was clear, it had a reverberating sound. It was his normal voice but with an unsual pitch. Looking back at him the boy was in surprise, {Shou? Is that you, Shou?} Page 8 {Shou} Hearing and remembering that single word. (...my ...name?) Because of that single word, his mind and thought process started to return to normal. . (That's right. I am Fukamachi Shou.) (This person right in front of me, Segawa Tetsurou. And so...what is that?) Immediatley ahead, there were traces of a corpse. White smoke was emitting from the whole body and it was rapidly losing it's primary form. Even so, a hand with long clawed fingers could still be seen. Tetsurou's face was scowling. There was a detestable smell. However, although there was sensory information being recieved, Shou felt no actual feelings of normal sensation. It seemed as if his sense of smell had disappeared. Right there, Shou's senses lost their bearings. He had no other word that could describe the characteristics of the sight he saw before him... but would he dare call it a 'monster'? However, it was not the first time he had seen this being. (I know this. Ive seen it before, just now - ) Suddenly, a recollection of events, appeared in Shou's mind. Page 9 Image ( of the scene - Guyver 1, Tetsuro and the smoking corpse near a pond) Page 10 (I was fighting that thing!) But, those memories, were being told by someone else, that's what it felt like. Although they were from the perspective he would expect of a memory, It didn't look like his own experiences. Did he actually defeat the monster, with his own hands? Shou looked at both his hands. They were 'monster's' hands. The hand's palm was similar to that of the corpse, covered in a dark earth colored organism, segmented like a worm and the cover from the fingers to the arms, was enveloped with a blueish white carapace. (Is this, my body?) He tried moving his hands. They moved like he thought they would. With a sigh, he looked at the pond. Reflected in the water's surface, his face looked right back. The rising wedge like eyes, carried a reddish shine. Even if it was a mask, it was not that of any living being. He finally understood, the meaning in Tetsurou's scared look. (I've...become a monster!) His fear was rising. However, there was no reaction from his body. Page 11 The strong striking heartbeat, the fear contracted stomach, the feeling of blood receding from the whole body, none of it was present. Even the oppressive feeling of choking, could not be felt. Were his internal organs even still there ? Had the insides of his body become that of a monster aswell ? {No...I don't want this!} His strong will of denial was expressed by his voice. With such will, his body began to respond.... Shou thought something in front of his face snapped. At the same time there was something being uprooted from inside his brain, and he could feel the nerves all over his body. His outstretched hand, had already become human. He could see the sleeve of his school uniform. His own clothes, all of them had been preserved. He could feel the world. At that moment, He could hear superfluous sound again, the sound of the rustling wind in the forest. His normal senses had returned. Even his vision, had returned to its normal feeling. Riding the wind, his nose grasped the stench. It was like sweet vinegar of a rotten fruit, what a piercing stink this was. He felt the heaviness of his stomach. However, this was an agreeable sensation. Page 12 Shou made a sigh of relief. The stink, was definitely caused by the white smoke coming from the corpse. The eerie remains of the body that had been visible before, had now dissolved. {Shou are you alright?} Tetsurou raced forward. (Am I.... really me again? Is there anything strange anywhere?) {Aah, im back to normal} Tetsurou nodded with relief. {....what..happened...} Shou muttered. Tetsurou seemed to answer, {Look!} Pointing behind Shou. Behind him was the pond. On top of it, was a humanoid figure standing serenely, barely touching the surface of the water. There was no mistake, it was the thing that had been wrapped around Shou's body. Shou thought It was falling in, but it slowly sank into the middle of the pond. Watching over the two of them, as if something was controlling it. Page 13 The bubbles caused by the submerging figure subsided and the surface of the water became calm. The corpse of the defeated monster was completely gone, not a trace of it remained. There was no proof left of whatever had happened there. Shou thought absent mindedly, that he might have been dreaming. But it seemed that what he once knew as reality was a thing of the past. Still, what was that monster that he defeated?, right now Shou did not have the composure to think about it.

i think the fact that Guyver has been going over 25 years is enough of a selling point to put to max factory. they should know that its an established franchise and will always have a fanbase to sell to. if they were relying on sale figures to encourage them in releasing further figures they should never have gone with Purgustall and Imakuram they should have just released Alkanphel. to be honest i really want t see Alky and Guyver 2 F next.

even though im not sure if id shell out for one right away I think we should deffinately get a campaign going, max factory have really took the pee with this... ive lost track of how long it is since we first saw the colour archetype of Archanfel/ Alkanphel..??... its 3 years since the articulated white one!!! we should get everyone in the english speaking community to sign some sort of petition ofr something, and if we can get people from other countries to get there communities to help (Cannibal etc. ) - is there a japanese Guyver community to get in touch with?? all we need to say to Max Factory is - look !! there is still interest in this product all over the world - so make the Frakkin things!!!!!!!!!!!!! please.

i went ahead and watched ep 1 of Gobusters and wow! now ive only seen as recent as Boukenger but this seems decades ahead of it. the CGI blend with live action is smooooothe, and the quality of it is good aswell, it doesnt look crap. triplechanging zord?! baddass. only qualm is why arent their morpher things (proper name escaped me) colour co ordinated ?? theyre all blue!! dont know if i should watch this yet, as it might make the preceeding sentai series i havent watched yet seem not so good! im sure i will though, as surely it can only get better !?!?

can anyone help me please - im on episode 40 of Boukenger but ive realised i havent watched Boukenger vs. Super Sentai yet, so before i finish the series i waned to know whereabouts it fits in with regards to the series, if at all?? i ask because its easy to spot when to watch the 'movies' as they are advertised on the shows at the end, but i havent seen an advert for this. should i watch it before the end of the series or after?? Also when does Tokumei Sentai Gobusters actually begin???

OK so ive done some paraphrasing for pages 8 -11 (a.k.a 3-6 ?) i was going to leave the parenthesis where i have added or changed sentences or specific words, but it was looking a bit messy. i will keep that version for myself as reference, but have posted this version without them as it will be easier to read i think. to save page space they are in here:

this is cool.... do you remember those topics we discussed a few years back about shou's body actually changing when he became the Guyver? this kind of goes to show our conclusions were right (well they were founded by the VDF anyway, but...) thanks for the check Ryuki , oh and all i can say to your post above the new translation is another if these are pages 8-11,without sounding too silly as im confused enough by this book enough already.... , wheres pages 3- 7?? i must say that these pages were much easier to comprehend than the last two.... its probably not as necessary but i'll have a go at paraphrasing them sometime soon, so if anyone else is bothered i'll post them when ive done it.

So its still a little unclear to me which it is, first or third, or where it is appropriate for it to change? maybe it will become clear in the future pages.... it makes sense to be all first or all third until p2... however it might be that the 'he' 's and i' 's are where they are for a reason??? ... im getting a bit OCD with this now... im starting to think that it might be the guyver organism itself that is the observer, so 'it' is the 'i' and 'shou' is the 'he' ?? even if this was the case it still doesnt make 100% sense!!!!!!!!!! i now have 4 versions of this - all i , all he, he and i and one where the guver organism is the observer!! what the heck??? this bit on p2 is not fitting in with any of them as if shou is the guyver who are the boys in school uniform??? With both hands, they stepped back.'' i have to stop looking at this until ,more is translated!!! if you want heres the version with the guyver as the observer - its not perfect though.... funnily enough even if im wrong about this some of the words that i omitted or changed in my other posted attempt fit better and actually make sense with this version that would not in the other

well, i can say im interested in it at least.. (please forgive the long post, but bare with it) i was waiting until there was a good chunk of text to read, as honestly i would prefer a flow rather than a wait. however, i have read what has been done already so.... this is not an attack at Durendals translating as it's better than i could do (which is zero)-and its way better than google... but one thing that strikes me personally is that it is not very easy to understand. i think its something to do with the tenses or something, im not clear whos saying what, and if its first person or they're observing or being observed, it seems mixed up to me and im second guessing if im interpreting the english correct?? so, i was thinking maybe we should have 3 versions on the wiki 1. Japanese 2. English > Japanese Translation 3. Paraphrased English i know you like to leave the scripts of the Manga relatively untouched and just translated without paraphrasing, but reading continual text in this way is a little weird and instead of enjoying it i am trying to figure out what is meant. its not a demand!!! and it might seem unfair to ask because there is enough work involved anyway , but it would seem Durendal (or Ryuki??) is in a better position to do a more paraphrased translation because he/they might understand the original better, thus leaving less room for error ??? BUT if he/they dont want to, i am happy to have ago at it, so i have had ago at the first two pages, but its weird, to me its like there are words missing for it to make english sense... page 1 was not too hard and i dont think i strayed too far from the translation, but be prepared to scold me for page 2!!!! (NB: in the original translation it goes from 'he' to 'i' fairly quick, so i'm assuming it is actually 'i' and hes speaking first person, but at one point it seems like it should be third person, so was the rest supposed to be in third person?????? what the hecks going on?????? ,am i being stupid?? I too have a great fondness for Garo now. i didnt mind the plot development,it was there and got better as it went on but the action alone was worth watching it for as its probaby the best ive seen out of Japan in live action. and i totally agree about that one scene, all of that sequencene was intense, i loved it, it was crazy but that one little bit was a bit grrrrr because.. anyways still on Boukenger. attack!
