Guyver is back in action this month!!!
  2. "No comment " Battles are moving on, word count is getting closer to 31000 words. Though I'm still rereading stuff and re-editing stuff as I feel the need. Good chance that ocne I feel it's complete enough for editing by James given that he's being very busy and not that active lately that it will be posted on a priview state first, and then the final edit will be when the WG-Fic site's redone. Edit for 27/05/10 Now that I got my hands on the old data files for GWOTG and I know what ..... ummm not going to say who or whom but basically lets just say it helpded a lot. Back to writing again and over the 31,000 word mark and getting to the near mid stages of the final battle with a key moement about to happen. There will be some surprises alright. Some of them oldies that I found on the old messageboard in the plot section :
  3. I do have a version of the site with a lot of data files on it (found it in my archive of stuff).
  4. I have an acrhive of this I think (question is where)... But if this will be posted up on the arhive is something I'm not sure of. Baiscally I view this to be Allen's work and area of the site. So unless it's something really important (e.g. missing files, or something broke) I'd not want to mess with his section of the site. Though posting an arcived version of his site mightn't be a bad thing when the WG.com gets updated in a few months time. If we don't here from Allen in awhile and there is a demand for it, we'll decide then. HOPEFULLY Allen himself will be back some day and he'll finish off the work he was doing.
  5. Thanks for that. Today I re-read the new part of the fic and added some more. Will be reading up data files on Angel and a few others to make sure the fight is interesting and more importantly, works well and that I don't screw up, more so with characters I didn't design.
  6. Not exactly. The Libertus are a modified version of a Lost number. Shizu is their true master so she could lock them out. Point is he reached them and could have if not for her commanded them. If we're talking in Fan-Fic terms. A Bio-Titan is Chronos's first wave of Zoanoids developed with the goal of contering the Creator forces. Overlords are not Zoalords and the Bio-Titan's zoanoids in the fan-fic can feel the difference between them and that of the Zoalord. the Bio-Titans also have a Zoalord designed to work with them. But basing your own ideas on that of a fan-fic is basically wrong, it's best to look at the source which is the 27 books. So far Shizu hasn't be really tested. Valkus was distracted by what Guyver 3 was up to and got into a battle with him. In hindsight if Valkus instead had commanded his troops in person our used his Battle form "that is the last line of defence for Alkanphel" things could have happened very differently given that Guyver 3 wouldn't have being able to kill Wolfy without the Libertus giving him a needed short cut. The thing to remember Gaster type weapons doesn't mean the missles explode, they could be changed to be like darts with vibrational like tips so they break into the shin of the Libertus.

It has never being proven in the offical story. The only thing that suggests it is the awesum healing power of the Unit, that the unit can regen the host (Including scars in the correct place) from the scan the Unit has stored of the host. If it can do that, simply keeping the aging process at bay wouldn't be hard for the unit. But in saying that, it's still not a proven or cannon thing. Possible, but not for sure. The chances though of one getting a Unit is remote, Chronos has no other Prototypes units, and needs a sample to make a Unit. How hard it was to make one is unknown, but it took them somewhere around a year. How Valcuria is connected is another Unknown. Valcuria though is said to be more danagerous for what she knows more than the power she has as a Chronos prototype Guyver.
  8. Overall it's ok, but you've made some guesses that have not being proven in the manga. The Libertus are also not immune from commands of other Zoalords, Valkus could have taken them over if not for Shizu. In the same way any new hyper any anti-Libertus wouldn't easily be immune from Shizu. The only real way is to have the zoalords there against the Libertus. Libutus have never shown themselves to be immune to vibrational swords nor never really faced a group of bio-blasters that too had a Zoalord with them to back them up to prevent Shizu from getting into their heads. Apart from that the basic idea of an anti-Libetus is good. You've gone a different way to the Enzyme and basically got with the idea of out powering and out gun it. But if you look at an alternative Enzyme 3 model, if Chronos ever got a sample of a Libetrus they would in theroy simply make an anti-Libertus Enzyme, and mix it would Gaster and then you've something nasty (this could easily bee added to your already exisiting idea). Though that would be my guess. In the end Chronos will find a way to defeat it, most likely it will take a Zoalord to go against the other zoalord.

The Libertus has shown that even in human form it's capable of crushing and killing most zoanoids bare handed. So that puts it above Gregore in human form. How strong exactly would be hard to say. In zoanoid form the Libertus was simply unequalled in combat but the one major factor to bare in mind was they they are not unkillable. The battle in Arizona HQ showed that without Shizu they would have most likely lost, the Zoalord done a lot in that fight keeping Chronos forces disorentated with her mind control and also she could heal the Libertus who took quite bad wounds from the stronger Hypers. But IF it became a Guyver it does have the potential of killing itself with Mode C... Overall though as they have a very short life spans the real question would be if being a Guyver would somehow stabilse that. That would be impossible to guess.
  10. Unforutnatly this weeks progress will suck, I'm in a different office this week for work and driving to the office, not taking the train. So getting any decent time to work on the fic is a no this week On a good note it will give me a break from it and time to think about who and what I really want to happen in the last battle of the story. There will be some interesting surprises planned, and as I sit around copying loads of data from one PC to another there's not much else to do other than plot the story.... :
  11. I don't really want to comment on this as fan-fic wise none of the Warrior Guyvers never really was put in that situation. So even in the fan-fic everyone would be talking about theory on how a human Warrior Guyver type would react in self defence mode. It should in "theory" not kill a friend unless the friend was doing something stupid like seeing if he could attack his buddy that had no brain.... The Dreadnought C-Medal is more advanced and as you said is Matrix enchanced. But now that basically it's absorbed into Jason's control medal it's main fuction is just that, controling and keeping in check his Unit. If Dreadnought was in self defence mode the above wouldn't change much. The main differance is that Dreadnought's regen is huge, so he'd not be in self defence mode for very long IF at all possibly Again it's not happened in the fan-fic so don't take this post as cannon what will or would happen in the fan-fic. :
  12. Above the 30K word mark for the last 2 days. But have spent the last 2 days revising what has being wrote and correcting things that just don't seem right. Also my new laptop finally arrived after some strange delay and I'm now using Word 2007 instead of 2000. This is working much better and is correcting my usual grammer mistakes (got to say for fic writing the new one is much better for pointing out grammer errors). Though I'd to teach it's custom dic all the names from the Guyver story and fan-fic... that took ages but thankfully I'd a large story of fiction that I could use to add as I needed. I've a local copy of the site on the laptop new laptop so tonight I hope to get back to adding to the story rather than reviewing it and editing it. The last battle in the story has started though and am into the first phase of it. All in all, while yeah this is taking ages, thise does feel like my most complete part of a fic ever, I've given a lot of characters a lot more time in the story than I normally do and hopefully that will mean it will be received well by you guys. There will be some surprises too and a lot of new plots opened up by 7 Days 7.
  13. For me this is what makes the story exciting, even after 27 books and 25 years of story he can give you enough hints so you know where the story might go but has it setup so it could go any different way with Apollyon, who is he and whats his plan will shape the next books in the story. Guyot's return too could also be major bad news, as Alkanphel never really looked for the remover, just commented that it was gone. So if he has the remember Guyver 2 F could be in deep trouble depending on how well Chronos where able to make her control medal. The fact it's an "incomplete prototype" means chances are it can't be removed.
  14. Read on, my guess is it's Iamakrum using the Zoa-Crystals to recharge Alkanphel. Judging from Alknaphels and Valkus meeting up and Valkus commenting on something on the lines of "Aplkanphel, you're awake! where did you get this power". I think we've our answer. I think since Imakarum got revived by Alkanphel using the complete bio-energy reserve from the Ark. He's a little bit more like Alkanphel now who he shares a mind link with. (Note please leave the fan-fiction out of this topic, if you want to wonder how this effects that, bring it to the fan-fic section).
  15. This has being answered before. Simple answer is it'll be handled in the rewrite of Union for the Gigantics. As for Apollyon he's simply not compatable with the story in the fan-fiction. IF he's a Uranus Warrior = what's the point of the Gen and the Kavzar? so in that respect he never happend. IF he's Alkanphel or Imakarum it also doesn't work for the fan-fiction. But why Apollyon didn't happen if it was one of those two will also be answered and it's all connected tooo..... No comment Most of those who visit the board know where to find it, so by this stage as it's being a good 6 odd months since this was released there's no need to post in Spoiler text. Once the book covering the chapters is released it's a good sign you no longer need to post in spoiler as by that stage anyone with any knoldge of the web would have read the Translated chapters from Japan Ledgend. Tbh ANY English reading fan shood, there is no other valid source of the translated story. But in also saying that, any fan should be buying the orginal Japanese books so that we show our support and the books don't get cancelled!
  16. This is where reading the full thread is handy Zoaknight The Japan Ledgend site translates and publishes them as they come along. Manga-fox by the looks of things is using the work from those guys (looks like it anyway, I could be wrong).
  17. Ohh sounds interesting, looking forward to seeing it.
  18. Sully replied to Zoaknight's topic in Fan Art
Well just to put one out there, for me Guyver US is one of those badly needing new art that I'll be doing soon as the site is back on it's feet update wise. But it'll not be on the first round of new art (unless I've a change of plan).
  19. Sully replied to Zoaknight's topic in Fan Art
    Ummmm.... no comment
  20. To be honest it wouldn't be fair to anyone to write a story based in the WG Fan-fic at the moment. Things will be changed and added too a lot after 7 days is done with the coming re-write. A lot of characters that have had 0 develepment. Some of which simply existed to die with 0 backstroy made no sense at all (e.g. Elera's Uncle, that whole story needs more). Zeugma for example too needs more development. Saying that there is a lot too I'm happy with, most of the Assassin Story for example is fine, only the parts with Creators in them need some slight editing so that it matches into the Gen Storyline. Strange Worlds is another, it will change only slightly, if at all. Time War for example is looking to be turned into a 3 parter by the time the rewrite is done. Saying that it wouldn't be impossible to write a good story if you didn't go hugely into the back histoy of the characters you use. But in the end, I'm not looking for any new writer to bring a work load with them for me, Matt and James, but to use what is out there in the fic / offical stories and make something interesting.
  21. We all have our stages of inactivity and activity this is simply one of James... hibernation times He's around somewhere and hopefully will get back to his old posting self when he feels like it. On the fic side of things, we're now at 28,600 words approx. Things are still gearing up for the final big fight of the story.
  22. The main reason it was gone is simply the work load it involved. But mainly because it put a huge strain on the board and in fact crashed it out a few times. So for that reason alone I'd sooner not have it back. Some of the old timers here that still RP might be able to point out the Guyver's Lair, if that's still ative and they want some links around WG.com pointing to it I don't mind helping support their efforts in getting a working RP board up and running for them or others to manage. G.S.F. is also an RP section. So Will might also have some suggestions if he's lurking about. Whatever you guys decide to do let me know.
  23. Nope, she's simply an ultrasmart human-zoaform. She's an example of what was hinted by the early books. A Zoaform doesn't have to look all big and scary. In Natasha's case they couldn't give her a zoa-form and she became a lost number. The rest of her story will be revealed in the re-write as she will be one of the characters to get a lot more detail when the re-write kicks in. Best if ye want to chat about the character though to bring it to the main WG-Fic section. As for pics... I put that on pause for the time being to work on the site and work on the fic itself.
  24. Sully replied to Sully's topic in Games Discussion
Hmm tempted to install this again. OMG's a double post (this attempt at humour will not translate well for most... move along please )
  25. By this stage it'll most likely be as one big part. Depends on how much time James has....?
