It's back... again! Last night I finished work on clearning up the database. So the old messageboard is back, updated and converted to PHPBB3. Strangely it's more up to date now than this forum They both might look the same but behind this messageboard is a PHP4 database behind the rebuilt old Messageboard is a new shiney PHP5 database. Sooo at some point in the next few days this board will go off-line and will be updated to PHP5. If all goes well you guys won't even notice. IF it goes tits up, you'll be on a forum 6 years old temporarely has a backup.... Once this database work is done I might if things go to plan have time to actually work on Star's page this weekend! Note: Reading the old forum should come with a health warning.... Was way way to strick back then on what when on in the forum

Not at first... But simply put they will be a hell of a lot more interesting after 7 days 7. Anyway time to give some proegress. The lead up the last battle of the story is happening. At the moment I'm deciding who's going to be in it and who is not. Once that is done then finishing the story shouldn't be to hard. After the last major battle there will still be fair bit of story to write but that should be done soon (about 2 -3 week'ish). Once that is done the last parts with the Grakken need some more editing as it feels a little rushed compared to the other parts of the story. Basicalyl some more detail and character interation and it'll be fine.

Well this will teach me not to leave stuff out of date for soooooo long. On the database I use for this messageboard there was also 3 other message boards in total sharing the same database. Given that even with this board being unpopular and has a rather low usage at the moment (compared to the past) and the state of the database I knew it was about time to clean up so that; a) this messageboard keeps running. b) other old messageboards that where spam bot infected like hell didn't fill the database up with crap. Soooo after 4 days of work it's getting about right. I've started to remove all Messageboards from my database. The only one left on it when I'm done will be this messageboard. The webhost that has my database has an option for 2 databases, I've enabled that (as it's free ) and when the old messageboard comes back it will be be hosted there. Any other messageboards I ever play with in future will go there and leave the database this board is on alone. This coming weekend I'll be updating the old database this board is on. Now this is where things get tricky as I've never updated a database before, so it might be very easy... it might wipe the board... We'll find out Saturday. If worse comes to worse and this board does go down the old messageboard will be available as a back up board and will be unlocked then. I will be doing a full backup of this messageboard and transfering it to a backup server at home before I update the database so we shouldn't lose any data. Anyway this Saturday will be interesting. Note: While the above will take a lot of work. I know from oour past when I left the board go out of date... well it got hacked and pretty much near killed off the site. I'll not be repeating that mistake so the above work has being worth it and will be so we can keep the site bot free (one of the old messageboards I've now cleaned up and taken off line has 16,000 USERS! 70 of which where real people I'm not repeating that mistake).

You forget she was also inside a Chronos exo armour (simular to a Blue Amour from ACTF only more compact). The wG unit didn't seem to mind though and activated and ripped the armour of of it's way. Natasha wasn't the intended host. Vamore was intended. As her what happened he was selected by Iamakrum. But is he ALWAYS going to be the current host of the unit? Think about it, one clue "SG".

This is where I'm thankful about learning systems development in Uni.... Ran into a load of problems getting the old messageboard moved to the current version of PHPBB (basically so it's the same version has this board). We've also the above issue of the Database itself being out of date and also a lack of real private backups for the messageboard itself (the web provider has they own). Sooo while finding a working metod to get around the server time outs (the old board is a little tooo big) I have managed to make a local version of the old messageboard. This now will be kept as a backup along with another few messageboards I run that are eating up database space this baord also uses. While checking that space I've found even though this board isn't the most popular messageboard out there, it does take up a decent bit of space. (30 megs, which dodn't sound a lot but is HUGE if you consider your max is 100). So given that the last time this site was popular, it was hacked to death, I think it's time I got a better backup system going and looking for the above converter has done that. Anyway to figure out all the above tooook loads of time. Sooo no update for Star's this weekend, but at least now I better understand PHPBB and will have test versions of the MB to play with and convert without damaging this one our the backup messageboard.

this messageboard updated, not to get the old one working again. This has shown a new problem in that the server database in use for the messageboard will be out of date soon ( we are on PHP4 which will be out of use by PHPBB the next time they release an update ). And by the looks of things I'm going to have to be the one to update it After the second messageboard is updated then I'll look into this. The whole messageboard will have to be backed up in case this goes tits up though.

If Jason totally lost it and was against something like Anubis. As far as theory would let him. His genitcs would change on the host level alone, he could turn himself into soemthing like Alkanphel (Zeugma like power level with the Unit NOT on). Then imagine that bio-booted and add the fact he's a walking Exceed powerhouse with huge HSL potential and still has access to the Matirx which he would be actively using to enhance his already unbelivable power levels which would again feed the Matrix.... I'd say he'd be close to unstopable. : Whats even more scary about the character is, for all his powerful weapons, he can also time travel.... at will and dimenional hop too...

Question for you though, why would they want a more powerful Guyver zoa-form? By it's nature being Guyver it's not controllable. Also remember his unit is one of the units from Utah.

Zeugma alone could take them... in human form. They are coming to this fiction at some point not for their awe inspiring power levels will change everything in the WG fic, but purely as a means of decent story making.

Well, if you where "plant boy" it's not like you're going to be able to rule with an awesume deminstration of power. Though you'd be immortal, just you're human form would be a lot of plants... that are creatures themselves.... Wolfy is bad far one of more interesting though possibily weakest Zoalord.

Working on an minor update for today. So far Links section is being updated. My apologies to Cannibal for the huge slack in getthing this updated. I'm also working on an update for the message boards (both old and new). Once that is updated the loading page before the messageboards will be updated and changed. I'm still working on Stars and deciding what I want to do with the site.

On the update side of things, the last parts with the Grakken in it has being completed. I've already done the next part of story based after it and moving onto the next major part. At the moment though I'm reviewing a lot of the parts wrote justing the last section of the Grakken battle as I'm not happy with the detail given to it considering the story as a whole. So that basically means it should grow more in work count considerably. At the moment the word count is hovering around 25,000 words as I add and remove stuff and tidy up the weeks previous work. Overall I'm happy with the way the story is going and feel the developement put into the Grakken more so is worth it. Future stories involving them will be at least a lot more interesting to write. :

Yeah but in doing so who can say he would be a "nice guy" after possibily winning? Dreadnought that appeared in GWOTG was pre Strange Worlds. So you'd also have to figure that this Jason wouldn't have Fiona back. A lot more revenge focused and possibly a lot less emotional crap holding him back to allow himself to turn into that. So lets say Dreadnought on the sight of seeing the last of humanity dieing in GWOTG saw Sarah O'Conner, the character Allan introduced later. They met and she reminded him of Fiona greatly, she's not Jason's child remember all he's seeing is something like the girlfriend he once knew. Lets say she was killed before him before the fight with Anubis. That would most likely be enough to tip Jason over the edge and do like you said. But what would happen afterwards? Would it be good for the AAR?

Emm, most people apart from the very high ups in Chronos and ACTF wouldn't even know Crystallite = Jenny. Even LESS would know it's Black Nova 2.... It's not like she's going around with a sign over her head saying "I killed loads of people".

that depends on your defenition of "surviving". At the moment she's a frozen block to stop her unit from killing her. It's not like she up and about happy to be in the WG universe.

Note that universe that had Elera as the queen bady was very different from any of the others in the fan fiction for the fact there was many millions of Guyvers about and they had wiped out many of Elera's people. She didn't take to it well and boy did she get revenge. Both Phantom Guyver and Female Guyver 1 with her Fire Power upgrade where luckly to escaple, ummm twice thanks to the Gia the second time to the "Universe the others came from"...... Megan is from the Universe of the evil Elera too... Question is "when" do these two character land in the fiction.

Simple reason, they cant as they can't remove his unit. There is a reason though why Chronos wanted Guyver's in their forces and Guyver 2 and Guyver Zoanoid are still around and that Alkanphel didn't just say "cool no need to hunt Guyver 1 and Guyver 3 any more, lets use these guys repaired Units!". But that's something I'll not say just yet as it's a major spoiler of what will be in the re-writes.

Type in "Guyver book 27" into Google, it's not hard from there to find the translated good stuff. As a lot of the re-write is based from actually being able to read what has happened from book 8 on wards. As it was being able to read this offical stuff and also really enjoying what has happened since the Exceed event that has got me back into fan-fic writing.

A lot of that though was the host, he knew his limits and fought well. But had to be rested a lot between tests. But as said before after many years even he broke down and became properly "Guyver" along with Guyver 0. The unit is more of a legend for it's good use and shows that a solid design is better than most prototypes. It wasn't that the Unit out powered everything. In a wey if you read into above you'll see this Unit is rather a curse for whoever gets it as it has it's own flaw in draining the host so that they needed to sit in a bio-tube for long periods of time between tests. That wasn't to subdue the host, that was so the host was usuable. This is something that will be given a lot more detail in the Time War re-write.

The Navigators will most likely not get more detail in the rewrite (none of the stories really give that chance). But that's not to say they'll not get more detail in later stories, most likely the next Assassin fic which at the moment like past ones based on the Ark. The story around Zygote and XT9 will be a a lot more detailed in the re-write. So yeah that's a good possibility for getting more detail.
