  1. Looking back on the posts over the last month and from reading the fiction myself I'm not happy with how the above 3 where used in the story and the rewrites will address this. 1. The Grakken Overall they make very little sense. Yes they are alien... but they are stupid aliens in the fan-fiction. They have come to Earth, looking for means of attacking the Creators. Yet they are in an all out war with Chronos in an odd way who in fact share the Grakken's desire for revenge. You could say ACTF is to blame for the way they sent the Grakken Craft back to them. But lets be burtally honest. They shouldn't have being able to do that. The GRakken ship is an alien ship. A ship of a race who fight the Creators and had a VERY long war with them. Yet the bog standard Guyver unit can command one of their ships? Short answer nooo it can't. So with the removal of that after the re-write Chronso and the Grakken will be in a cold war of sorts. 2. Cori - almost everything about the way she became the Battle Guyver simply doesn't work. Teh Grakken have the Battle unit yet stay on Earth? With that tech they can vastly upgrade their race. Yet don't leave with their prize. Yes they are hoping for another unit but there must be a reason for it. Then we've the whole thing about them capturing Cori. It's not explained why in great detail. Yes she's the main ACTF person in the fan-fic for finding dorment units. But who or why she became a target needs to be explained. It also needs some more build up to why Guyver US and Warrior Guyver went after them. 3. The Mercs Richard Baxter must be the dumbest rich man in the planet. Attacking both ACTF and Chronos? Then looking to Alkanphel to make a treaty? These events need to change and change heavily. So basically what you saw happen with the Merc's will roughly happen has they did before. In that they for a short while joined ACTF. They somewhat got on with them but for the most part the bulk of them did not. The Merc's are not the most diplmatic buch even with each other and do what Merc's do. They went tothe highest bidder which was Baxter. The group will split has before down the lines of those not obessed with cash and those that simply can't refuse such a huge amount of cash. But there is no combat between the two groups other than where things get too personal before the group decided to split. Overall I want to give this event a lot more build up and a lot more character. So in the end when the mercs do cut ties with ACTF and join Baxter it hurts. Even more so has Carter can't do anything about it. The Merc's simply leave, he gets a call from the Priesident and is told they are no longer his to command. The events of how the Merc's get involved in a war with Chronos will be different than before. Baxter is the diplmatic arm of the Grakken that have being stranded on Earth for the last 16 years (this is thanks to the Enforcer Prime, they are the last of a fleet that attacked him and the fleet he commanded on Mars when Isis was to be taken to Earth). Has you need to know this for 7 Days part 7 to make sense here's an overall picture of how things worked with the Grakken. 1. The ship underwater near the US was a rather large escape pod from a Grakken ship. Damaged they are all that remains of the fleet mentioned before and are standed on Earth. They reach out over time and make alliances with Baxter first. Through him they start to make an empire based on business and money based on what Baxter can backwards tech from the Grakken. Over time and a few years before hand they make contact with Area 53 and learn of Martin and his control over the place. They start to trade tech with him looking for the means of getting a satalite in space capable of commincation with their home empire. By the time for Time War Jason and Sean mess up what happens in Area 52 much like they did before (though without any chat with the Grakken). It is from MArtin they learn about who and what the Grakken are (up until then they just new they where alien Guyvers of some kind - this is after the rewrite of Union where the grakken is a lot less talkative). Baxter is the reason Cori was kidnapped. She was getting close to finding the Turbo unit and Battle Unit's relic. The fight in Union was a cover for another Grakken force to strike ACTF and capture her. Chronos and the Grakken fought for the control of this Relic and is the start point of their battles on Earth. Each side capture a unit has before. Though Chronos know nothing about Cori. The Grakken on Earth capture the Battle unit and get what they wanted from Baxter in the end who gets a satalite into space (it was though meant to be an ACTF coms satalite. Has a reward he's given access a a Grakken unit. They call for help from the home fleet. Cyber Guyver is the one who discovers this message. Events which lead to Resuce. Though events aren't on the ship in the sea, but on the Rescue ship sent for the Grakken and to recover the Battle Unit. 4. Area 51 This too will happen differently has said. Though the reason Chronso stayed away was simple. They already knew of events srounding the place thanks to Isis' sister. Chronos never attacked Area 51 in force in the fan-fiction, only a token force everyone once in awhile which the Aceaer Martin killed off with the Marines on site. The Grakken worked with him because of a simple reason. WArrior Cast Grakken do not know anything along the lines of Scince. Grakken breed towards different casts. the warrior cast being the only ones we've since. The Fleet we've seen so far up until 7 Days has always being the fleet cut off from the main Grakken Empire, as such they've being cut off from the science cast. Chronos still capture Martin pretty much has before. The ending of All Things Change part 4 will pretty much be the same has before. Grakken try to make peace with Chronos through the Mercs and Baxter. But "someone" squeals on them. ACTF interferes at this point. the result = Chaos over New York and Dreadnought winning the day. ______________________________________ There you go. This should keep ye up to date on the changes in mind for the Grakken, Cori etc.
  2. No Comment (I'm getting back to form on those!) I wouldn't exactly put W'kar down has an ACTF ally. Everything he's done so far has being for his own amusement. He's yet to go and outright kill someone important (Kron is still alive for example though that would mostly be down to W'Kar not knowing he needed to destroy the head too!). The chances of W'Kar respecting Carter in anyway is also very small. Angel has per Alan's fiction is also getting to the point where she needs a break from it all. Dreadnought will not exactly be in the "lets attack Chronos mood" for awhile either along with Zeumga (ACTF did try and steal zoa-tech from Elera and maybe from Zuegma). So unless Chronos does something to make it personal e.g. attack Dreadnought to provoke him they will not be in danger from him for awhile. If you think about it logically has well. Dreadnought's next target won't be Alkanphel etc. It'll be the thing that gives him the most to fear about in the short term. Elminator would be the obvious target for him has Fiona will not be someone he'd be prepared to lose a second time. So that would be another reason why he's not going to go running off to attack Chronos unless they do something to make the loss of Fiona seem smaller to what they could do to him / other people he cares about. Problem for Dreanought is Eliminator isn't eaxactly stupid and isn't going to get bored. It will strike when it's ready. That leaves ACTF with Gilgamesh and Dark Nova (if she's avilable) for a preemtive attack on Chronos (going by events to 7 days part 6 - remember you've not seen the changes of part 7 yet).
  3. "No Comment :P"
  4. I aggree there that 7 Days is such a complex story that the next few character stories and stories will referance back to it for a long time to come. By the time 7 Day's is completed a lot of character will be changed, or have events change them on a personal level. that was part of the reason behind the name of the story. Almost everyone that went into had something removed from them in return on a real or personal level, so the cost of the story to all sides is huge. Dreadnought has lost his alligance with ACTF. Jenny has regained her sanity but lost the ability to command zoa-forms of Chronos (something that needs to be shown more in previous stories and will be used in the re-writes a litle more). The relationship between her and Jason is going to be very strained. She might have gained the powers of a Black Nova unit which is technically an upgrade. But it's not like she wanted it or will enjoy it any time soon. Which if you look at it another way is of huge cost to ACTF has they lost something has powerful has a Gigantic Guyver thanks to you know who. Chronos has lost it's top rank of leadership with but Alkanphel and Kron out of action for a long time to come. Bare in mind the time frames concerned. Dreadnought was in a cocoon a lot less time because he had a Matrix help which sought him out when damaged. Warrior Guyer Natasha hasn't got such a complete Matrix and also has the Darmon Crystals inside the cocoon with her. Has such her time inside that cocoon is going to be random. So for all 3 cocoons they could be in there for a long time. They are also very at danger inside those which means Chronos will have to guard them extreamely well. Given the chance that Dreadnought / Dark Nova / W'Kar etc could attack it that means a LOT of Chronos's heavy hitters will be close by in some way or another. Chronos also has lost a huge percentage of their Bio-Titans. it will take them a long time to recover that. ACTF too is in a simular situation to that of Chronos. They have lost a lot of their forces and equipment. They lost Dreadnought, Zeugma and Guardian (Faye) and too a lesser extent Elera. They have also not gained access to Zygote Guyver who has the potential to make an army of clone warriors. What they gained so far is Gilgamesh who doesn't make up for the loss. Yes they do have limited access to Dreadnought through the fact he still considers himself to owe the likes of Guyver US a lot. But it''s not the control they enjoyed before and they can't team him up with their newest heavy hitter Gilgamesh. Simply put he and Dreadnought have issues. When you consider all those and not just the events of what Part 7 will bring. You can see for a long time to come this story will shape everything else to come for a long long time.
  5. I have, and there will be more insight to other characters events from their view at a later stage. But for 7 days part 7 the idea felt cheap to simply end it and then do a few flections considering the 6 parts before it.
  6. Exactly, will make things interesting but not sutiply powerful that they are unkillable by even a standard Guyver (even Alkanphel cought totally unaware without his defense up would be killable by a normal Guyver technically), but make it so if they did fight a Gigantic Guyver a hole in their chest from a signle power punch wouldn't kill them off has it does now. To bring this topic to conclusion. You guys have being of great help in bringing the choice together. Guyver 2 F - will be in the fan-fiction. But will die sometime between when she appeared in the Books and the Union Story (that I'll leave very vauge for the moment). Female Guyver 2 (the Valcuria from another universe) will get a more hostile reaction from Chronos because of what her alternative reality self did. Though still has in the fan-fiction before join Chronos after the realise she's not the Guyver 2 F. Omega Aptom - Will happen in the fan-fiction (so expect a much different start to the Union story after the re-write). Note he'll still be upgraded by absorbing a Proto Zoalord so those powers he had before will basically mix with that of Murakami (will let your imaginations run there).
  7. being burtally honest. Not a clue (basically it's like asking how long is a peice of string). But the end result will ne nice. There story has 3 phases really. Phase 1 is nearly there and reaching it's end point (not saying how that part of the story ends but you'll notice). Phase 1 will be the longest part of the story. Phase 2 will begin then and deal with some of P1's aftermath but will mainly begin the next battle. Phase 3 will be all basically coming to terms with the results of Phase 1 and 2 and will conclude the story from the view points of most of those that have taken part in all parts of 7 Days.
  8. My goal is all sections of the site will work with Firefox. Just has you said time isn't on my side at the mo for playing with other sectons of the site,
  9. Odd it only happens in Firefox. Tried it in IE and works grand. Has that's Allen's part of the site (I didn't disign it) I'll leave it be until WG-Fic site gets updated has chances are Allen "might" be back by then and I'd rather let him update what is basically his part of the site.
  10. Proto Guyver is more for Matt to write about than I. So that would be up to him. Has for Grakken and more on them, yes between the rewites and 7 Days part 7 they will be a lot more fleshed out.
  11. Actually no, there should only be 1. Anything above that is because of the situation. In this case the Creators want to put the Grakken fleet down and out of action. They want to do it fast without great cost of human life. Prime isn't one of those 12 either. Enforcers are rarely if in fact never used has body guards for single Creators. They are mainly used to protect A LOT of Creators / Planets etc. Only one has that duty for the Assassin Guyver and that was only because the Warrior Guyver was concenred. To the Creators that is overkill enough. On the update front part 7 is already longer than 6 and only about a quater nearing a half complete.
  12. How he met Primitive Guyver and those events is a Character story I'd like to do.So that might be left for a later filler story.
  13. Can you provide me with some examples (links) please?
  14. She already has being. Note Allen's fiction. Which one GWOTG, W'kar, or Angel? It was in the W'Kar or Angel stories, can't remmber which off hand but will let you guys have a look . See here's the thing guys and Matt touched on this in a big way when he explained why he stopped writing. This is a fan-fiction site. What we did with the story was good but it got to the stage where it was a)no longer fun and b) no longer felt like a Guyver fan-fiction. Both of those reason's equally lead too the fan-fiction going into a stall that's lasted 2 years. Here's the thing you can thank for getting me back in the writing mood. The more recent Guyver stories of Takaya. Yes Exceed was... odd but not has bad has a lot of people feel. With Khan's death the chances of thise being used again would be small (do you know any other super sized people out there?). Takaya is a fan of Godzilla so pretty much that was his "Godzilla" moment. We can forgive him for that considering the great story he's given us. Around the Exceed story Takaya had some great story involving Aptom and how he got his new form. It's being used to great effect since, without him for example Guyver 2 F would be dead has those Enzyme had her number for example. In fact most Enzyme 3's have met there end thanks to either the Bio-Freezer or his powers being used by Aptom. By takaing that away you take away a great part of the story. But taking it away (in other words writing out Exceed) doesn't fix the situation. Khan still is there. Has a plot device he still needs to be dealth with somehow. He still has to betray Chronos and be captured. We know now what his powers are so we'll end up with what Dragon Loard v????? The Fan-Fiction has to follow some logic and structure. Characters do thing for a reason. W'Kar training Giglamesh for example just to screw with Jason. Him telling Jason to his face, because while he thinks he's a boy scout he quite likes him has a person and gets a kick out of his reaction. It makes a some what screwed up sense, but importantly it makes sense. The problem the fiction still has is it doesn't make sense reading it how it sprung up from the Takaya books, the live action Movies to what you read now in 7 Days. There isn't a lot of tie in stories, in fact it's barely mentioned. The sad fact of the matter is it should has I planned it out that way but the plan got messy. The re-writes will fix a LOT of that giving a lot more back story. For the cost of One Exceed event personally I think it's worth it for the story that happened around it. This would normally get a no comment from me but being honest you guys should have known this years ago with 7 Days was completed: Agito - no longer has his Gigantic unit. Being blantely honest even after the re-write he'll not use it much anyway by the time he's found the Warrior Guyver 3 unit. So chance of him wanting or staying Exceed? 0% pretty much. So again plot wise not something to be concerned about. Sho - soon will also no longer have his unit too. Along with that he'll learn a lot of the cost of what Exceed done to the city. As such much like when he lost his ability to become Guyver after killing his father he'll simply not want to go Exceed. It's not like he's going to wake up one morning and think "Ummm I'll go super sized again and stand on some zoanoids for a laugh!!! muhahahaha!". Dreadnought and Zues concerns - Will they Exceed? Simply put no. James will be called in for a edit of the Data-files here to reflect this. Basically Zues and Dreadnought can't go Exceed for a simple reason. They are already using a controlled Exceed mode (minus the super sizing) that is controlled through their HSL system. This is part of the "new" reason they are has powerful has they are. Don't like saying X, but roughly speaking if you where to use x Zues = 20x and Dreadnought = 25x Ummm what about the new hosts? Shizu and unknown person? Sho's unit will be removed and replaced with something... fancy. So his unit will be going to... someone. New person simply will not know how and will not be put up against susper sized giant's so there will ne no reason for him/her to learn how to Exceed. Shizu - see unknown person for reason she'll not be going exceed.
  15. See this is where I differ. In the end this is a fan-fiction of Guyver. You may not like the Exceed idea but ignoring isn't something I'd do for the getting Omega Aptom. In the end it's ingore something canon from Takaya. But making it not happen again is possible. Sho won't exactly be doing it again because of the cost of human life. Dreadnought and Zeus too will simply never do it. Has I said above McAvoy apart from this one event the Exceed version of the Gigantic will not be used again. Simply put I too don't like it but I'll not ingore Canon. Has I said above. Khan will be modified. See this is where X has an idea fails badly. A Zoalord isn't basically 2x or 10x etc. They have completely different range of powers and abilities and measuring them against a Guyver and putting X against it doesn't work. Yes a Gigantic Guyver is more powerful than most Zoalords apart from Alkanphel. Only Imakarum has managed to take one down (mostly due to Sho's inability to kill him) only for him to get into a fight right afterwards with Gigantic Dark and lose. The Elite change to them is not only to break them from the Creators but some other fancy stuff (basically better Regen to a Neo-Class level and extra ranged powers to make the other Zoalords more on par with Imakarum's abilities combined with their own). Now where does Warrior Guyver come into this at base level. Basically they are still the same at basically 4 times that of a Guyver. Making him weaker than a Gigantic Guyver (has I said before on the board that's a good idea). Would Warrior Guyver be capable of killing a Zoalord. Yes a normal Guyver can if he hit a zoalord with a full mega-smash (apart from Alkanphel). Warrior Guyver still has better regen than most and near impossible to kill. Stamina level has well for Warrior Guyver is off the par making him increadibly hard to kill. Warrior Guyver's main treath is that he won't die easily and won't stop. I might also keep that Warrior Guyver's hyper-blades are more efficent than that of Gigantic. Apart from that he's simply out powered by one over the short term.
  16. She already has being. Note Allen's fiction.
  17. Exceed is not going to be included in the fanfiction. See this is why I'm giving you guys a chance to decide some of these things (basically part of slapping the Fan-Fic back into Shape and bringing it in line somewhat with the Canon story form Takaya). But to give you insight into how I'd see this playing out a little: Exceed will happen if Omega Blast Aptom is used in the fan-fiction. So basically events of book 26 will be pretty much the same has in the Fan-Fiction only the Dragon Lord will survive and Apollon would have never entered the story (basically the character is not compatable ("at the moment") with the Kavzar idea of the fiction and WAY too much has being done with the Aceaer Cast etc up to Enforcers for us to drop that to be in favour with Canon). Also to avoid any ideas of the Gigantic having some sort of collectivemmeory store and the hosility that should still be there with Sho and Agito for Union (Sho would still not trust Agito fully) Gigantic Dark will not be used in Union after the Re-write. Sooo what would Exceed bring to the fan-fiction. First question would be would I use it much. No very unlikely. I don't think Sho has a character would use it a lot too. Basically it took a large tole on the city and in the end he sees himself has a protector. Basically he'll not use it unless he has too and even then after an exteame loss (someone being killed or some numbers of people being killed). Second question would be overall powerlevel. I don't like using X here, X gives the idea that all powers increase equally has 1x goes to 2x etc. That's too basic. Overall Gigantic Exceed would equal Dreadnought on raw power scales for period of time. With the exceeds Giga-smasher being possibly deadiler than Dreadnought's (it's simply bigger and wider). Overall this would mean a Normal Guyver has the chance of being has powerful has Zeus or Dreadnought for a short period of time. Is that a bad thing? No in the end Dreadnought is has powerful has he is all the time and simply was too powerful has an idea in the old way. But it does mean he's no longer stupidly powerful in Canon terms which is something I quite like. in fact he stay's what I imagined him has the Warrior Guyver to be like. Which was a more stable Gigantic. Now that I know better this will be even more correct. In the fan-fiction there are only two Gigantic's. One on a relitively new Female Guyver 3 and Sho. Both would be capable of the above (with Omega Aptom or not bare in mind I'll not ingore Canon and they are capable of doing it even if I don't use it). Shizu though would be more likely to use Exceed than Sho IF she can figure out how.So do not be surprised if it appears in the Fan-Fiction properly too if the story warrants it. Dreadnought or Zeus going "Exceed"? They have the potential of it yes. But will they? "no comment :P" Joking aside no they'll not has I don't think it's overly cool. In fact apart from the one Canon event I'll not use it. But I'll not ignore that it never happened in the past. Sho will simply in fan-fiction terms not want to use that power and Agito will simply not know of it (remember he was on the other side of the world at the time). the Dragon Lord will also be... ummm "changed" after his capture (Imakarum will most likely bitch slap him for what he has done) and not capable of obsorbing has many zoanoids to increase in body size efectly removing the need to Sho to go Exceed. He'll still be overall large and have massive power levels to do attacks he did in the comics but no longer need the raw Size (tbh Chronos don't want the costs either of what he did to happen again even if Alkanphel somewhat forgives him and the other 2 Zoalords for what they did - to those that don't know Chronos has a uprising happening in the comics and the Dragon Lord baiscally took over a Chronos building and absorbed ALL of Tokoyo's zoanoids to make a supersized "Dragon" and Gigantic went "exceed" too kill him).
  18. First off, welcome to the Board Secondly not a bad go at making your own Data File. And lastly this is the first mod thing I've done in 2 years... geez I'm getting old. Not going to be has strict as my old self but has a general rule of thumb we keep the Fan-fiction stuff (data files, art, fictions - Guyver Slap stick dogin bloke etc) out of the Guyver area and leave it for offical works. You're more than welcome though to continue on the discussion here thought
  19. By having Aptom Omega you pretty much follow the books so Exceed is the pain you pay for him getting that upgrade. Also Exceed is cannon (while I'll never use it again, fact is it happened).
  20. Testing the waters here a little to see if you guys would want this type of story. I've pretty much already decided that Jason / Dreadnought will not be the main character of the next story, in fact if he'll be in it at all is of question at the mo. The story will mostly revolve around a new character - non-Guyver and non-zoaform is the only clue you are getting there. So the question for you guys is the side plot that will run beside the new characters development. At the moment I'm thinking a Guyver Mercs story. that will go into detail into Richard Baxter's organisation and it's relationship with the Grakken and the Mercs who work for him. Again this will be most likely be a snore of a story if your expecting a lot of action and fights. So the question being is do you want more on the Merc's or is it something else you'd like or want more detail on?
  21. I only got HD TV this year!!!! (only 5 months ago) I'll not be getting 3D tv for 5 years
  22. Anyway back on topic. Should we or should we not use those two characters from the book has they are now?
  23. Thing is "it's body" isn't exactly in a good shape. The ship is efectively a vegitative cripple that has being crash langed on land, shot apart a few times, ripped into different dimensions, etc etc. If it wasn't for the fact the control medals of the ship had a little common sense and shilded some of the important areas of the ship with what little energy it had left most of the units wouldn't have made it. Some units didn't make it completely either (e.g. the Proto-Type WG units. 2 of them where damaged). If you've seen a data file on the chips they have a brain section outside the control medals for operations of the organism... simply put that brain is squished and spread over the Outback. Chronos isn't also fighting for the units inside it. It wants the mess of the ship so it can form the base of an even larger and bigger "Ark". Question is will it get that?
