I've not herd from him in ages.... but sonsidering his contribution to the story and ideas I'd say he's not gone. Just he's busy has hell and is a dad. RL has claimed poor Andre Tbh he's better off for it has he's a dad. Hopefully someday when the kids are in school and he gets that rare thing called free time he'll be back writing again!

As ye know I plan some slight changes and mostly beefing up to the current fan-fiction. So pretty much for me I foudn the break from the fan-fic in a way was a good thing has it allows me to be objective and spot where things simply where wrong. After reading all the stories I've wroth for the most part its all good when you look at the collective result. But some stories just do not work. Rescue for example is a good idea. Overall story = WG and Sean rescue Cori. But it's a mess of character interaction and 2 new characters to the story. A Cross over with the Rapier Guyver fan-fiction (which will stay) and XT9 who was meant to be a big introduced character turned to pot and the character killed off (was all over a stupid aruement I'd with Mike that we didn't work out - result = Xt9 dead and the plot making noooooo sense!!!!). This will be fixed up. Though the fait of XT9 will still most likely be death in that story. It will be a longer story with him alive until the end (maybe he might live but still overall result will be death has far has most people know !!!). Question for you guys is is there something else that you feel has being left open ended and maybe forgotten? Or maybe a character that needed more to it bfore being killed off? Note: another fic of mine that never got finished will be worked on during the dust off of the fiction. It's called "Terror of the Martix". It's a story based on what the Matrix got up to before it ended up stuck in Dreadnoughts control medal. Lets just say all it did wasn't rosey before Dreadnought was made. There is some..thing that lurks...

Good to see some of the old messageboard guys still around. Well some good news and some bad news on this update. Bad news didn't get the fic finished. Good news it's still being worked on and not ignored (like the last 2 years or so). The one thing I relaise now is that making the Grakken a key bad guy force for part 6 and 7 was a bad idea. They lack the debt that the Creator foreces have and some of the power scale. This isn't a bad thing. The writers together have talked of giving a lot more detail to the Grakken and after 7 days there will be some stories into their background. Has for other things in the future and if I'll be "going Terentino" on the cast... In ways it needs to be built up in areas (like I said above the Grakken for example). In others it needs to be cut down (good guy Guyver for example). But a lot of that is cast for writers who where either not well established (Twlight Guyver) and others that are established but have busy has hell real lives (Andre and the Nova Guyver fiction for example). Has the starter of the WG Fan-fic and after checking with Matt yes there will be changes and cuts to what has happened in the past and what will happen in the future. Either that will mean stories like Union (how Grakken where orginally shown in that needs to be changed has does the use of Guyver Gigantic and Aptom) too basically Twlight Guyver basically never exsisting. So he'll simply be wrote out of the story. Basically the reason why the current Warrior Guyver fan-fic site and the current Archive are the same is because on the next update of the Warrior Guyver fan-fiction site along with athe site being facelifted the the fiction will get a reboot of sorts. This will inclue the following: 1. Stories will be rewrote so that power levels are corrected. 2. Writers that are no longer part of the team and are not considered well establised will be wrote out of the story. 3. More character build up and detail so that things make sense. Strange worlds for example was one I thought would need fights redone for the power level. But after reading it, it turns out to be OK thankfully mostly due to the way I killed off the Zoalords was not down to a power strugle. On the other hand Rescue for example needs some major changes, beefing up etc. XT9 for example has a fate worse than Guyver 2 in my fiction and is just there to die and his meeting with Warrior Guyver made no sense in plot terms..... Anyway not planning to snuff many but explect a more complete looking fan-fiction has we get closer to the reboot of the story. Note: most likely 7 days Part 7 will be posted onto the site when it's done and the older stuff fixed up afterwards to give you guys something to read. Note 2: I was recovering my old Guyver arhive from a my old PC. It has the most recent Assassin Guyver story I was working on. Chances are depending how things work out this will be the new story published with the reboot while 7 Days 7 will simply just be posted before the rest of the story is rebooted.

It's offical = most likely Takaya or someone with his style of work in Japan (the orginal pic with be on the Star's site later most likely next week). I was looking through the book that came out in Japan with the Mutronics / Guyver movie and there was also a datafile picture of the movie Guyver has well. And a joke picture done by Takaya of both Sho and Sean's versions of the Guyver beside him. So looks to be offical. Pity the movie isn't as good has the book!

New front page is up for WG.com and working! whoho search engine added has well.

Has part of the WG.com redsign and updates to both it and the WG-Fic letting you guys have a heads up on some more changes. Guyver 2's Playground will no longer be on the front page but part of the Guyver Fan Archive. The Archive section of the site will be changed to have archives of old Guyver sites so Leigh's site will naturally go there as top site in the list. Along with Guyver 2's Playground there will be 3 verions of the Warrior Guyver Fan-Fiction site there. The 2 versions located in the old site section and the current one that's on site now. The orginal version of Star's site will also be there. The main reason for this change is the have old versions of Guyver websites I've liked that would have fallen of the web a home and be in an easier place to find together. Has some of you know Geocites is now finish and a fair few of the old small Guyver sites dispeared along with it. Has such if you've an old Tripod / Fortune City site etc and they follow the way of Geocites there's a good chance if you want I can put a backup of your site into the Archive. If you've a good old Guyver site on one of these advert infested free hosting sites and want a adfree exsistance for your small Guyver page let me know. Note off hand I can only think of 2 sites which fit the bill. The Guyver Fan-Fiction Archive (not being updated since 1997 but has one of my fave fan fics on it and it's shutting down WAY back then lead to WG-Fic site being made) Guyver 4's (though this is unlikely until Fortune City goes tits up has Anitia still works on it whenever she gets time).

As per topic viewtopic.php?f=33&t=4389 The Front page will be changed over this coming weekend. No new content yet this is basically an update to get the site back into shape and ready for new content that will be coming it's way next month. Downtime "should" not happen :

"Worksafe" Dunno if you guys have herd of the term. But I'll also be backing a "Worksafe" version of the WG fic and template for the forum. Basically a picture free just black and white boring version of the site for those that are at work!

On the new version of the WG-Fic site all will be the same for the stories on a clear background (not decided what colour).

The first thing I'm doing this weekend is updating the WG.com part of the site. This is main page of the site and has you can guess is basically what people see before you get into the rest of the site. Soooo here's the first thing. 1. There will be no new content for the update on this coming Sunday. This update to WG.com is all about testing templates and seeing what works and works well. 2. I'm only interested in 3 web browswers working. IE 6 (there are still poor sods using it but I'll not be overly concerned about it looking well just that it works) IE 8 and Firefox 3.5. If you're not using them... well let me know but I'll not doing anything so advanced this site should stay working if it does so already for you. 3. I'm cutting out the Webring from the site. 4. I'll be updating the Links section of the site and doing something to the credits section. Affter WG.com is updated over the next two weeks I'll be looking at the WG-Fic site to give it a make over like WG.com. Note again no new content will be there, just the site being more readable. The classic version of the site though (basically whats there has I type this) will be going into the GFA which will have a section for the old versions of the WG-Fic sites (note this section might be updated later on by Willl... but that's up to him for the time table) Stars Guyver page will be the next target after the above. But will have to compete for my time with Sevendays Part 7 (note no matter what this will be the last part of that story line).

Over the next month I intend to have a new template in work to change the WG.com site. Simple question for the guys that visit the site the most. What is the resolution on your computer you like when viewing websites?

I'd aggree with Matt here. Japan-Ledgend will be even when Star's is updated the site to go to for info about the comics beyond book 8. What I put up in Star's if I scan ahead of Book 8 will not be translated at all (not asked them about this but I doubth they'd mind, chances are there'll be a link to their site saying that's the place to go for translations). Has for making a retail section on the site it's not something yet I plan to do. But I will be making a section of Star's decated to how to BUY Guyver stuff. Considering I need to buy book 6 onwards there'll be some real life experance to this update.

Ok where to start. This site (namely the new version) needs a major update and also overhaul. So what does this have to do with the science forum? Well in a way it's this. Star's is a page where only offical canon is to be in the website. Weither it be Guyver art or Guyver facts and stories. So should it also be for data files . What I'd like to know is what you guys who like this part of the forum would like to see in this site. Both for your debates in this part of the forum and also for the improvement of info for people to do Guyver based fan stories.

I saw this last week, and I've to say it was great Up there with the likes of Star Wars for a great story.

Yup, now IF I get the fic done in time and James is up to it you'll see some interesting results. Also a fair amount of Data Files being updated. Thinking about this more though some stories will need an overhall for this to work. I'm in a way thinking of now doing this first to get me back into the story while writing the main black of what will be 7 days final chapter. The Guyver Fan Archive will be getting an overhaul too has the old version fictions and data files will find there way in there along with the really old versions of the site.

He's be more powerful alright than what he is now and has McAvoy said would get some added features. But given the amount of time the Matrix had it wouldn't be greater than the Enforcer once was. If time wasn't a factor though yes Promtheus would basically be an alternative version of the Enforcer. Most likely the same power level but smaller and more compact do to the Matrix's more advanced nature.

To put it into perspective. IF the Matrix and time wasn't a factor was involed you could take a rat and turn it into an an Eliminator using only raw materials of cave slime. Would take ages but that's the point of the Matrix. The main reason the Matrix uses parts of Relics, Guyver units etc is because it speeds things up greatly allowing it to complete it's goal (whomever gave it that goal).

Thanks guys for the support. I'll be first buratlly honest here. I don't give a monkeys if someone uses the data files of the fiction to make their onw take ont he story. In the end that's their choice and all the more power to them for doing so. If they do it will enough Will might even add them to the GFA site depending on his mood! Anyway back to the the topic. I've decided a few things. First off is the fiction has being too overly powered and DBZ like. But it was all done by donest mistakes based on what we knew at the time. The main idea for Chonicals was for it to fix this things. I then continue on the story has is . But that lead onto 7 days and well it just dragged the story out of me and there went the fun. So first and formost while it's not an easy choice to make. There will be ret cons, some minor and mostly they will all be minor. If we loook at Dreadnought for example even if we keep his power level the same he shouldn't be so over powered. IF we got things correct the Warrior Guyver has he was before any upgrades would be about half the power level of a Gigantic Guyver. With the Dreadnought amour if thing where correct he would be about 2 times the power level of a Gigantic Guyver with maybe another 30% on top of that. While still the same level has he is now others around him should be a lot more powerful. This evens out th estory one hell of a lot. taking this into account and then looking back at the old stories will happen over time. So you can get an idea yourself if you look at the old fictions what should have happened if Dreadnought wasn't so over powered. The Guyver Zoalord story though would mostly be ok and strangely this would have the biggest impact on Strange Worlds where Dreadnought wouldn't have defeated the 11 Zoalords sooo easily while the Alkanphel fight would be mostly ok. Sooo heres the plan. First off finish 7 Days. Taking the above into account it will not be a pretty match with older fictions in terms of power levels but to be honest this shouldn't give a huge impact to the story and it matching up. Second I need to do a lot of ret cons to the old stories starting off with Union. Overall this will bring no major changes but things just have to make sense reading the old fiction for the new stuff to be done. 3rd This will also happen with a new site deisgn for the WG fic section and a new WG.com front page and overall site. The Forum will also be getting a face lift. Those fancey designers out there who have cool little Guyver logos etc that they would like to see on the forum please post on another tread and lets get something nice and properly Guyver together. 4th. Star's Guyver page is then my next target it's time this site also got a face lift and new stuff out numbered the old. This will be done arouond the same time has 2 because both are relevent to each other (this will become an on going project and might in fact happen before 7 days is complete). 5th some new short stories based around filling in plot gaps. This will mainly focus on the Guyver Powered Zerabubuse and a show down between him and Dreadnought. This will explain why Dreadnought has a respect for the GPZ by the time of 7 Days. 6th Finally some new stories. Starting off with a new character that isn't a Guyver, Zoaform or something from the Creator (well very in directly them but not the them of this universe) or Grakken forces. "She" (your ownly hint) will be the main character of the story and Dreadnought will only have some minor things happening based around New Cork but that's not the main focus of the story. Has it stands this is an all story based part with zero fights planned so far to even out the crazyness that happened in 7 Days the dust needs to settle and this is the time it happens. 7th a Guyver 4 story filling in what happened while Dreadnought was away in the Strange Worlds story. And then well that'll be saying but hint = Fiona and it'll be a more action based story. If I get all that done I'll be one happy fic writer again and get back to some art work too. But overall the above is more important to me than getting drawings done. From what I remember I think we've more art done that characters out there! You guys just haven't seem them :/ Now lets just hope James is still in the editing mood. P.S. Note old versions of the fiction and possibly the WG site has it is will appear in the archive so don't worry if you liked the old version of the story, that will still be there for you to read. P.P.S. don't know if I'll do 1 to 7 has they are but overall it should happen that way depending on my urge to get Star's site updated first or not.

This is both a bit of Necro of an old tread but from what Matt said it does also reflect on what I feel about the story. I thought about this quite a bit and well here's where I've ended up. Being burtally honest to myself I let the giney out of bottle when Dreanought graced the fanfic and combined with that the sheer amount of different types of units. Yup he's fun and having a large cast gives more of a story but in the end it's not a pure Guyver story. Don't get me wrong it's being fun but in the end the story wrote itself out in Seven Days plot being too big and at times boring to write. This is mainly because I viewed the story has the last chance to fatten up the cast before future stories will see their numbers decline (that's about has much of a hint you guys are ever goin to get ). So here's the thing. 1. I over all like the story. But to get back writing it I have to for my own sanity get the story back to a point where it's fun and the out of control number of Guyver's is suddenly going to find future plans kicked in the nuts and cut own to make the story work. Future planned stories will work VERY well and being burtally honest the sheer number of cast members isn't needed so IF I return expect death.. lots of death and pain. OVerall this is a fiction I want to end and end well but it has to be worth writing. What happened before being respected so there will be no ret-cons. Has Matt said the story turned into DBZ... I don't like that cartoon sooo well there ye go why the fic found itself in lymbo for ages. It has taken a long time for me to get back to a stage where I actually am considering writing again and Seven days is something I dread going back to so need an honest to God good injection of the proper origanal Guyver story before I even dare too. 2. I would like to push the reset button on the whole fan fic. I don't want to do a Star Trek and suddenly have Cyber Guyver reset the story buy killing Jason etc. If and when I do this it will basically be a new begining totally. Basically a lot of the WG fan fic has to do with the lack of what I know now. So expect something a LOT truer to what Takaya wrote though again with the same basic premiss of the Warrior Guyver being that Jason is there in the Warrior Unit. But everything else would be changed, so no Creators, no Solom no well everything but what has happened since Timewar minus the Grakken and a newer story and there you have the re-defined story. Overall the Orginal Warrior Guyver isn't an overpowered beast, a Gigantic Guyver is in fact more powerful so the idea just works for me. Recent events in the books all taken into account this would be a interesting place to go. Option 2 though will not happen until 1 is complete or at least in a good place where you guys aren't waiting 5 years + for updates. In the end simply holding a gun to the story and obliterating it isn't something I want to do myself. Apart from 7 Days rest of the story that is planned is great to think about and not so draining.

Don't think it would actually work has easily has that. The Enforcers creation process takes the resorces of a whole War World to create, bond and process and takes AGES to make right. While the result would be powerful than what would have happened with the commander I don't think the net result would have being greater than a true Enforcer and not in a scale that would match it easily.

Looking for an idea for getting back into guyver fan are for the fic. What would be your number 1 choice for the next picture I should try and do? Doesn't matter if it's one I've done before as tbh I need to get used to drawing again so this will be ever much a test picture. : See ye laters, Brian
