Creators - Uranus - Advents - Gen - Fan-fiction
zeo replied to Sully's topic in Warrior Guyver Fan-Fiction
The Relics left behind were mainly the ones left behind by the Uranus, not the Gen... All official Guyvers from the Manga/Anime and Live Action movies still have their original back stories. Atkins is an example of FBI getting involved and Jason was FBI before he became ACTF... Jason is pretty cross universally consistent. Aside from dying in Strange World for example he was following similar life choices in all worlds. There were still casualties during X-Day but with Archanphel not singling Jason out means his sister goes on to join the good fight and the O'Conners are fighters at heart. There are other factors I can't mention... -
Well, technically the WG's are still capable of killing Zoalords... Zoalords have limited energy reserves and WG's are hard to kill and can keep on coming. Not to mention WG's gravity shield... So before Archanphel regains his full power they would still have a fighting chance...

WG2 Universe isn't all that different from the WG universe except for the lack of events connected to the Time War event and the consequences of those changes... It's Strange World that took a real divergence... -
Gigantic Guyver Power Levels
zeo replied to Azaar's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
We don't know yet, Takaya isn't giving any specifics. Who knows, he may be still be deciding that himself... All we know is that the Exceed is the Gigantic's true power and the Gigantic was created to fight Archanphel, a being powerful enough to destroy a Mars size asteroid. Compared to that level of power even a the normal Gigantic Giga Smashers are like comparing a fire cracker to a nuclear bomb. We can extrapolate some details, like despite body density being less than the normal Gigantic the Exceed can withstand Mega Smasher level attacks, like how he blocked Khan's regular Purgatorium with just his hand. While the normal Gigantic can be damaged by far less... Probably because the Exceed body is infused with raw energy. We also know the Exceed is the first example of any character firing off an actual black hole attack instead of a virtual one. It's small, so evaporates fairly quickly but it's a real black hole and that takes enormous energy to create. Also not everything may be proportionally increased, like when the Exceed flew it used the back thrusters but otherwise only seemed able to mostly just hover under gravitational power. But with just that battle to go on we'll have to wait till Takaya gives us more to work on before we know anything for sure on the Exceed... -
Gigantic Guyver Power Levels
zeo replied to Azaar's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
And I took part in many of those discussions over there. It's 20x power, physical strength is just an assumption since physical strength is not actually referred to in the visual data files! There are no official figures on the Exceed power levels, Takaya only put size and weight, those are official, and described the general transformation and the black hole attack. Those on J-L do a lot of theorizing to try to fill in the blanks just like we do but you shouldn't confuse those theories with actual established facts from the Manga. And I believe we have already established a simple 20 fold increase doesn't match up to the Exceed abilities or physical properties... -
Zoalords would also be shown as more powerful as they compare to the Gigantic and add the newer details we have learned from the manga on what they are capable of doing...

Gigantic Guyver Power Levels
zeo replied to Azaar's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Not quite, all Guyvers continuously siphon energy from the Boost Dimension from the Gravity Control Orb. The Gigantic's Power Amp crystals amplify that power siphon and the Gigantic has three Gravity Control Orbs. Going Exceed balloons those Power Amps, which means it's siphoning more energy at a far faster than normal rate... Translation just states "20x power", as McAvoy already stated the physical strength can either be 5x like the main head beam or 20x if it's being amplified by the power amps. It's more likely the former as the Gigantic has never shown that level of strength, just power like from the power punch but they get the power from the power amps and the actual translation calls it "gravity knuckles"... Doubtful, wouldn't need additional sensors if it was just a power increase. Specifically the additional orbs allow for "detuning" (which is what is in the translation), creating a more effective and efficient sonic blast for greater range and effect. Don't think they ever fire continuous beam, think it's just a streak view like how bullets are often shown in comics, which is probably why it was never shown that way in the anime and OAV... Really doesn't make sense otherwise, considering how the pressure cannon is formed and how the translated data file describes it. Even the Exceed's Black Hole attack was shown as a beam in the initial images but a black hole is a singularity... Also the forcefield is actually Electromagnetic and not gravitons, which would explain how Khan's missiles can drill through the barrier... Gravity suggests it works similar to the Gravity Knuckles/Power Punch, channeling gravitational energy through the chest spike, and just adds back thrusters with possible barrier shield... The Gigantic has yet to be shown to ever break the sound barrier and with three gravity control orbs one would suspect that normal flight speed should be greater than what a normal Guyver can manage, which is about 300MPH... 250MPH is the estimated running speed for a Guyver... Where are you getting 20x height increase? Data File specifically states 52m! The power increase of the Exceed was never specified... Exceed weighs 2692 tons! Normal GG1 weighs 393kg... 393 kilograms = 866.41669 pounds... 866.41669 x 20 = 17,328.3338 pounds or 8.6641669 tons! Vs the Exceed's 2692 tons! Though mind you this weight means the Exceed is less dense than the normal Gigantic as he should weigh a lot more at that height but shows there isn't anything indicating the Exceed is 20x a normal Gigantic. Also 40,000 men comes out to the ability to bench about 16 thousand tons, which is only just under 6x the weight of the Exceed. Compare that ratio to the normal Gigantic, which is closer to 2000 times the weight of the normal Gigantic. So going by your scale the Exceed would be proportionally way weaker versus the normal Gigantic strength to body mass ratio. -

Yup, Cori would be one of the few with more than basic knowledge of the Creators and their technology outside of Chronos. But to best use her the ACTF would need to be able to send her into the field to track down and help recover any Creator tech like the Battle Unit but she's practically their only expert on the matter and the Grakkens kidnapping her would emphasis how vulnerable she is and how easily she could be captured or eliminated. While the Battle Unit, though fairly powerful, is primarily a defensive unit instead of an offensive one. Since it's primary capability besides having a HSL is its advance shielding capability. So it is the ideal unit for Cori, as they primarily just need her safe and capable of going on missions and this is something that is likely true for alternate realities versions of her as well as long as she served a similar role... -
The Guyver organism can become anything... So the question is rather how adaptive is the Proteus CM? If it can reconfigure itself then it can assimilate new technology... Course there is a problem that WG technology is basically encrypted, and a improper copy could result in bizarre or unexpected results... Remember, even Krullnar hasn't been able to fully recreate Warrior tech... Closest was WG5 but that was more a less a clone unit and not built from scratch. Unless of course one of Proteus's ability is to bypass any CM security? For the HSL though, since it's based on interaction with the host that it's possible to mimic without actually copying the original mechanism. All Guyvers can tap the Boost Dimension to some level and as long as the Proteus CM has similar capacity as a Warrior CM then it can reach similar efficiency.

We've had some other artist contribute as well, but Matt and Brian have done the bulk...

I dunno about removing all the comedy elements, maybe just changing it a bit. Like the scene in the 2nd movie where he threw the stick of dynamite and the salamander looking zoanoid caught it with its mouth and Sean detonated it with his head beam was okay... Maybe have Striker's last words be, "Not the face, not the face!" just before Sean crushes his skull in... Then have the other Zoanoids thank him I'm fine with dark humor What does everyone think? Should we channel some Bruce Campbell from Evil Dead series

In the Manga Archanphel is the first and most powerful Zoalord, those the Uranus planned to make after him would serve under him. Archanphel in turn created the council of 12 Supreme Zoalords as part of completing the Uranus original plans. So there is no mention of prototypes and if there were any then the Creators likely destroyed them as none are in the Manga/Anime... While Waferdanos was basically a sentient super plant and was likely a terraforming experiment that was abandoned. Only similarity to Zoalords was its power level and control over the subjecti, who were essentially part of its body. Though this does suggest a prototype could have survived, Waferdanos was limited to that island and was never able to leave until Balcus gave it a Zoacrystal and obtained a more humanoid form. The creatures on Silha island also suggests the Creators at least kept samples of their progress as it were but since no other Zoalords or prototypes of any other sort have been shown then anything else is strictly fan fic creation... The inclusion of Fulton can then either be explained as a possible prototype that avoided destruction or a more basic zoalord that may have not been completely zoaformed when the Creators left. There are fundamental differences between the Manga/Anime and the live action movies that would have to be overlooked to an extent to merge them into the same world. Like the live action Guyver stored itself inside the host instead of in the Boost Dimension, the unit host telepathic organisms are on the back of the base of the neck instead of on the host back, the Guyver winds up to be shorter than the host instead of taller, and of course the powers and abilities were less in the movies than in the Manga/Anime. So taking the same liberties with Fulton we can make him more powerful than he was shown in the movie, though Zoalords like Khan have shown us that Zoalords can take any form and shape depending on their specific abilities. Just like any other zoaform... Though 3rd possibility is Fulton was a dragon zoanoid, maybe an experimental hyper like the T-Rex that fought Guyver 0 was, but somehow obtained a zoacrystal and that upgraded it to Zoalord status like the same for Waferdanos... -
More like something we never got into, lots of sub plot that goes into the thinking out of the overall story that doesn't always get explained until much later...

It's unknown if simply giving Guyot another Zoacrystal will restore his powers or give him new abilities or both. We don't know all the details of how becoming a Zoalord works and only one that we know of didn't require Zoaforming... Waferdanos was already a forest entity when Balcus found it on the island of the same name and it was the Zoacrystal that transformed it into a humanoid form and gave it Zoalord abilities to control Zoanoids. So there is a question how the Zoacrystal interacts with the host body. There is also the question of whether Guyot has been further Zoaformed, considering the new combo combined spider tank like form he can take now with those other zoanoids... So he may become something entirely new...

More like a Maser, microwave version of a laser, and it was a slow weapon as G1 had plenty of time to dodge and was used mainly to get rid of lost bits of Aptom so they wouldn't regenerate into a Whole Aptom that wouldn't be under his control. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laser_cooling

Well, compare... In the Manga, the three Japan units were retrieved by sending in hundreds of zoanoids to battle their way into the relic but only one survived long enough to get back out with the units. Helped with Zoalords to command them to override and self preservation But Chronos had absolute control over the area and any media coverage of the area as well. The Relic defenses killed all the zoanoids they used in the breach but Chronos managed to retrieve those three units before Agito convinced Malmut to then steal them for him. In the 2nd movie, Chronos had lost Chronos LA just the year before. So lacked one of their big bases in the US and possibly their control over the local media may have been iffy at this point. Prior to X-Day they would have to keep a low profile and the FBI in the movie showed they were already starting to arouse suspicion and there was only a handful of zoanoids in the whole movie and they even used regular human students to do most of the digging. So Chronos in the movie didn't have complete control over the area and had to worry about alerting the authorities to their activities. A year or so before, when they still had Chronos LA and a Zoalord in the US to make a army of Zoanoids sacrifice themselves trying to get the Unit would have made more sense then than after. Not to say it necessarily happened that way but it could have... I wouldn't go too crazy about how the unit looks though, only so many parallels you can make from the movie without it conflicting with the manga/anime version. Like the fact the movie versions stored themselves inside the host instead of the Boost Dimension or the fact Guyver Sean was actually shorter than regular Sean...

A Master Zoalord like Archanphel has about 12 times the psycho wave power of a regular Zoalord, according to Balcus when he used the Psycho Wave Amplifier... But even then Guyot was still able to resist long enough to run and Caerleon resisted Apollon, someone he stated had a mental presence like Archanphel, enough to fight back, didn't do either them much good but shows that Zoalords can at least resist the control. Archanphel himself is an example he rebelled against the Creators, though he paid a price for that resistance it still means Zoalords either have a level of resistance or they can use their own psycho waves to counter another's. So mental control will have to be backed by loyalty and/or fear of death... Though the mental control can still help paralyze or weaken a lesser Zoalord to make it easier to handle them and impair their ability to fight back. The gap will have to be at least Master to regular for a more Zoalord to Zoanoid like control... Besides, would you really want a puppet to be your backup? Especially if you have to worry about a competing Zoalord using your own subordinates against you? The new hierarchy not only ensures there won't be any permanent gaps in the leadership but also makes it harder for rogue zoalords to operate, as well as letting anyone thinking about it to know no one is irreplaceable... Molecular manipulation can potentially be one of the most powerful abilities you can name, especially if that ability extends to complex molecular interactions... but the energy has to either go somewhere or come from somewhere... Whatever method is dreamed up, it'll likely need something to accelerate the process or otherwise prevent escape till the process is finished. Though Molecular manipulation has been shown to an extent in the Manga though, like when Khan turned Aptom to stone... He of course returned the favor later Heating should be easier, like just microwaving a target usually works... Freezing is harder, since Freezing also doesn't usually happen instantly. You can even dip your hand in liquid nitrogen for a split second with no harm... And most methods usually involves draining energy away from the target mass or countering energy with energy to negate vibrations, like they do with lasers to make atoms super cold.

Fanmade WG universe Hyper Zoanoid data file: Genofury
zeo replied to Zoaknight's topic in Fan Fiction
Not so easy to solve PZ's power limitation. Whether using Elegan cells or other they all basically still use chemical energy and that limits energy reserves... though you could boost metabolism, risks shortening lifespan but would be a short term solution... -
The Visual Data Files! Translation goes... "Head Part Sensor The Metallic Ball of the bio-booster, a three dimensional compound sensor. The Hypersensitive Magnetic Field sensor is equipped with the function to catch the movement of the mass with the Gravity sensor and the Quantum Magnetic sensor, it can distinguish the brainwaves by man and zoanoids" Also there have been scenes in the Manga, like when Sho determined that Chaos Aptom was being controlled by an artificial brain for example...

Fanmade WG universe Hyper Zoanoid data file: Genofury
zeo replied to Zoaknight's topic in Fan Fiction
True, but she didn't have time to waste with him with re-enforcements on the way. Yup, only the Zoalords and Guyvers seem able to handle those higher power levels without risking burning out. Though you could spread the load with zoaforms that can work together or even merge to form a larger and more powerful form. The Fake Gigantic and Guyot's new spider form being two such examples... -
Fanmade WG universe Hyper Zoanoid data file: Genofury
zeo replied to Zoaknight's topic in Fan Fiction
It's also a matter of energy, normal zoaforms can sustain themselves like normal humans with normal food intake. But the Libertus for example require being put into Bio-Tubes after a mission to replenish themselves by directly infusing nutrients into their system. Even then they only got a few years to live before they burn out. Similarly Powered Zerebubuth was defeated because his enhanced abilities used up his energy reserves and he was left helpless. Even Zoalord's have limits to their power, with the Zoacrystal being basically a super battery for them but eventually it'll run out as well. Only Guyvers are self regenerative because the unit is constantly siphoning energy from the Boost Dimension. So not only can a Guyver regenerate from just a few cells but they don't need to eat while the unit is active, which is why the unit removes most of the internal organs while the unit is active. Though Guyvers and Zoaforms may have a similarity with the Bio-Boost. Since it is physically impossible to increase mass without a intake of energy, zoaforms basically violate conservation of energy by transforming from human bodies into their zoaforms, not to mention the energy needed for the transformation. So I theorize the reason why the Creators found life on Earth so interesting was because life here shared some fundamental properties with the Guyver organism, which can naturally Bio-Boost. The Bio-Boost itself seems to work when altering form and mass to exchange energy with the Boost Dimension. So both the Guyver and the Zoaforms can only tap it when transforming, thus why the Guyver needs the Gravity Control Orb for a continuous trickle charge and why the Bio-Boost can instantly heal any wound the host or Guyver may have. Like when Sho was stabbed by Aptom and another time when Sho re-activated the armor shortly after de-activation any damage the armor had was regenerated instantly. Zoaforms though aren't as efficient as Guyvers. So each transformation costs them some energy and results in a net loss. So can't just keep on transforming to keep charged. Leaving zoaforms with what power is contained in their body to fuel their abilities and chemical energy will only take you so far. Even zoaforms capable of rapid regeneration only do so at the cost of a greatly shortened lifespan. So if you want to make a really power zoaform, there has to be an explanation of where it is getting the power from. Like Neo Zektole was powerful but even then the Blast Tempest needed solar energy to power it and he had to go to low orbit to get enough to fire the weapon. While Aptom is another example and he absorbs other Zoaforms for his energy. Even the fan fic Bio-Titans uses biological fusion to generate enough power to make them possible. Otherwise you have to either limit abilities to something based on physical design or otherwise don't need raw energy to constantly power those abilities. -
So in other words just a step up from what the CM already does. The normal Unit also does its own thinking but is subservient to the host's will and only takes over if the host is unconscious or incapable of responding to a threat. Though some have theorized that this may be the Guyver organism's own will since it is an enslaved alien entity. But we generally go with the idea that the CM is doing the thinking and is capable of interpreting intent of the host as long as host brain remains intact. Such as when G1 would protect his friends even while unconscious but if host brain is damaged then unit just reacts with self preservation like when the unit killed Sho's dad. For the WG fan fiction we have a more advance version of this as the WG CM is advance enough to keep a copy of the host mind. So friend and foe is recognized regardless of host condition and is part of the basis for the WG battle collective. The more powerful Relic CM has shown itself capable of reconfiguring itself when it created the Gigantic and repaired G1's CM. So that too was incorporated into the WG CM in as much as the WG CM can self repair as long as at least once CM segment remained intact. And yes, essentially each CM segment is equivalent to a normal whole for the WG, along with other enhancements to the unit. The HSL itself is a enhancement of a normal Guyvers power system, which basically involves a massive power up during unit activation that we call the Bio-Boost and a trickle charge from the Gravity Control Orb while active. What the HSL system essentially does is induce a continuous Bio-Boost, the mechanism for which we put in the WG CM and that also explains why the CM can teleport into the Boost Dimension/Hyper Space. I believe the Guyver 4 fan fic originated the idea that a unit can have a secondary CM, in her case stored inside of host along the spine, and was the basis for a more Jarvis like unit AI that develops over time as a kind of symbiotic AI...

What's the idea? Can still discuss the scientific possibilities here and move to the fan fic area once you got a good idea of how it should work...

The Guyver Control Medal is composed of a couple of components. It's from the first Live Action movie that it was suggested that the Metal is somehow living, being composed of both organic and inorganic material. In the manga it hasn't been referred to other than stating simply that the metal is some unknown alien material. The outer ring is the what sends out the control signal, exactly how that signal works is unknown but the control medal has been shown vulnerable to sonic attacks, prolonged it can render the host unconscious. It's unknown if the unit will de-activate but Sho used that tactic once to fake losing consciousness while he was under sonic attack. Though a direct hit on the CM by a high voltage discharge has been known to knock the host out and cause the Unit to retract. The Main Orb of the CM has a bundle of wire/tendrils that go into the host brain and hooks the host, between the main orb and the outer ring is a crystal ring and that's where the light comes from...

Appearnace of a Guyver and Teleporting
zeo replied to Guyver_Astray's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Actually closer to around 250,000 years ago but this is only because we can't find bones any older and isn't absolute. We're also not sure when the earliest predecessors originally showed up yet, even turns out there were another previously unknown branch besides Neanderthals that we shared the Earth with for a bit but as far as the fic goes we originally had the creators leaving millions of years ago because of the timing of the last major ice age and how long continental drift actually takes. Making the assumption many humans took refuge with Archanphel during the ice age and later disasters preventing development until modern times. It was only after the Manga was more accurately translated to show the creators left much closer to modern times that it had to be updated. Even though this means Silha island forming due to continental drift no longer makes sense but we can't expect everything in a made up world to make sense... About human behavior though, biologically we haven't changed much from our origins but technology and culture took awhile to develop. However we don't know how much we may have lost or forgotten during all that time and the human race was nearly wiped out about 75,000 years ago when the world population dropped to below 10,000... It's just about 50,000 years ago that we have any signs of humans repopulating the world and known history is less than 10,000 years and even far less for any detailed record that doesn't read like a myth or legend. So lots of room for ancient cultures that could have been wiped out and left no discernible traces and Primitive Guyver can still be well over 10,000 years old.
