Basic Guyver feature, it stores host data at the time of bonding. Logical consequence is that when it regenerates the host it uses that original genetic pattern and thus any alternations would be reversed. So since Chronos doesn't have the technology to alter a Guyver Unit or the data stored in the CM. Then the unit must be removed first before the host can be altered.

Appearnace of a Guyver and Teleporting

The Gigantic can be extruded as an example of some of those personality changes, but Sho would probably have to re-bond to the unit to change it. -
Appearnace of a Guyver and Teleporting

1) Officially not stated, but I'd would say it's a combination of host DNA and personality. 2) No, only the Gigantic has ever demonstrated this ability in the Manga... So only enhanced units would be capable of teleporting. -
Yes, pretty much... only the Gigantic will auto de-activate if it uses up too much energy. A Guyver Unit can stay on until the host de-activates it or something effects the CM. Though their brain is still human, so things like sleep are still a normal limitation. But the unit removes most of the other organs because the host doesn't need to eat while using the Unit.

Close Juggernought but the Gravity Control Orb siphon isn't quite that limited... the energy siphon is the reason the Guyver can regenerate and it can recharge even the Mega Smashers if given enough time. It's just that full combat will drain energy faster than the energy siphon can replenish but it otherwise serves as a very basic HSL. The WG HSL though works more like the Bio-Boost and thus provides enough energy to not only allow an increase in total power but to maintain that level of power indefinitely.

Breaks down to time and creativity... some methods will work faster than others but the key to terraforming a planet is life and a energy source to power the process.

Depending on your computer, you could always just hook the computer to the TV. In general anime looks good on blu-ray but for a lot of video it depends on how good the transfer is and whether the source material was of equal or higher quality. Like old VHS transfers will still look the same on a Blu-Ray It would be nice if Steve Wang transferred Dark Hero to Blu-Ray but he didn't use high quality film to film it in the first place. So I wouldn't expect too much, but I hope they eventually include the deleted scenes I saw at the premiere and haven't seen since in any release version.

True, but between the so called fans in the DVD extras and bad reviews like this it's hard not to get a little hot under the collar. Well at least he admitted I made some "valid points."
-
Yup, well I left my own comment in reply to his last to you. In a way they are lucky their show is new, with reviews like this they are bound to anger fans of other series as well. Really, they come off as just some friends who happen to like anime and not professional reviewers.
-
Yeah, kinda reminds me of the so called fan experts shown in the anime Bio Booster Armor DVD extras. Great post btw, though he basically just dismissed it and didn't address the inaccuracies in their review. Overall, the show isn't terrible but with reviews like this one they definitely aren't helping promote the spread of anime.

Translation already states the pyramid is the temple built over the Relic in which Archanphel sleeps and it was done by those who worshiped him after the creators had already left. The whole island is kept afloat by the energy field from the Relic, which also powers the whirlpools surrounding the island. Yes, it refers to the damage Guyver 0 did to the Silha island relic. We also know they can't get into the other Relics, so that leaves the Arizona one as the only one they could just walk up to the Navigation Spheres and it may be the only one that had data on the Creator projects as the Japan one didn't.

Just to warn you, it's mostly negative. But despite having a point about the problem with the lack luster animation and movies, you can easily catch how clueless they are about the Guyver. Like the comment that Chronos created the Guyver http://revision3.com/animetv/guyver#rev3Player We should all post comments on their site telling them how they gave a too lopsided review, as this is very negative press for the Guyver.

Not all land mass is above sea level, they're just inland, and once the Relic starts floating on the sea, just like anything else at sea the currents can take it to just about anywhere else on the planet in just weeks to months, a tiny fraction of the 10,000 year period. Also when Arizona got flooded by the sea, it would have been downstream and not upstream. And this is not even counting tsunami's, which could have done it a lot faster. We don't really know the status of the other Relics, we can only confirm Chronos knows of at least one other in China. Also you can't get more dead than fossilized, the only thing left useful in the Arizona Relic was its Navigation Spheres.
-
Uh, that's the opposite of what I said. It's the Arizona Relic that I think moved, having basically died and fossilized it wouldn't have been grounded like the others and could have just washed away with the ocean currents until it floated into Arizona when it was flooded by sea water and then subsequent flooding and other local geological activity could have buried it. But as McAvoy has emphasized the timing is an issue but I suppose we couldn't expect all of Takaya's story to make accurate sense. Though Silha island was part of a larger island that sank. But even then 10,000 years hardly seems like enough time if plate movement was the only factor.
-
Takaya may be basing Silha on the legend of Atlantis. . . problem is Balcus found the island 400 years ago and it still hasn't been found but he can still find it. So more likely stationary but just not on any shipping lane and any ships that wonder too close can be destroyed by the vortexes surrounding the island. I don't know what you are getting at about a Lake?

Only one Relic was blasted open by Guyver 0, the other was only damaged because it managed to raise it shields. What is stated in the book is that Silha island formed as continental drift separated it from the mainland and it's energy kept it from sinking and it is the Relic damaged by Guyver 0 as that is stated when Archanphel went to it to sleep. This also explains how he can freely enter and leave it while the other living Relics prevented access. It's just the other damaged Relic we have no confirmation on. But since it is stated as damaged then it's fully possible that at the end of the ice age that the rapid ride in sea level rose enough that it could have easily washed it literally to anywhere in the world. The only question is how accurate is the 10,000 years that Niel translated as continental drift takes far longer and the last ice age started quite a bit further back than 10,000 years ago. We only know for certain that Archanphel took Barcus to the Arizona Relic, despite being buried over a thousand miles from Silha island. So Archanphel knew exactly where to find it and from those Navigation Spheres Barcus acquired all the knowledge that he has used for zoaforming. This despite the Relic being fossilized... The Japan Relic is accounted for and as far as we know the one in China is intact. Then it limits the possibility to make it more likely that it is the second Relic damaged by Guyver 0... It is also suggested in the Manga that the Relics are the reason why there was geothermal activity underneath them. Further suggesting the Arizona Relic is the only one that wasn't able to preserve itself.
-
Silha island doesn't move, at most it just submerges. The island has remained in pretty much the same spot for the last 400 years and has only been mentioned being part of continental drift. Arizona and the Grand Canyon area do have a history of massive flooding from Sea Water, as well as volcanic deposits. . . Either or both could explain thousands of miles shift in position. The only problem is time frame but 10,000 years is not enough for even Silha to become a island either, since it was attributed to the very slow process of continental drift. So we either except a lot happened in a very short time or the translation was never meant to match up to actual history.
-
There were two Relics damaged by Guyver 0, the first one was severely damaged but still had access to geothermal energy; eventually becoming the base for the temple of Silha island and the reason why the island still exists. The second Relic damaged by Guyver 0 managed to shield itself but was still damaged and I believe lost too much energy. Consequentially, I believe that it is that Relic that without a geothermal power source eventually fossilized and became the Arizona Relic.

It is a natural human reaction to dehumanize the enemy to the point you forget any of them could possibly be innocent and nothing helps to motive the need to dehumanize the enemy than a war.

I think Apothecary and Eliminator are pretty good examples of what the Matrix is capable of, given time and resources.
-
Jason can't make a Warrior Unit for someone, only a unbonded Matrix can do that for him. What Jason does have is a sixth sense of how things work, thanks in part to what makes the WG CM unique gives the Matrix a direct link to his mind. So even though his mind isn't altered, the CM and Matrix act like second brain feeding Jason what he needs to know but they can't make him understand things he isn't already capable of. So Jason won't understand everything but he'll get the general gist of it. The workings of a Warrior Unit though are beyond him and while bonded to him the Matrix itself doesn't have the resources to upgrade a unit anymore. Thus the need for an unbonded Matrix to perform any such upgrade.

To an extent, Zoaforming is altering a person's DNA to match a predetermined design. Depending on the person will determine the success rate and whether any random mutations will occur. For Hypers the Success rate is just very low and there is more chance for random mutations. But given enough resources it can still be done. It's like stamping a template, depending on your raw materials and the complexity of the template will determine how well the stamping succeeds vs fails. But given enough force and time then the stamping can be applied to any material but it gets harder the more complex the template.
-
No Comment on a Guyver Darzerb but there are some interesting turn of events in the Manga, such as the possibility that each Hyper isn't a one off creation but it's just very hard to make additional of the exact same design. So we might see some previously destroyed Hypers make a appearance again in the Manga, which fits into how we've been using them in the fan fic.

Yes, Jason clings to being human so much that the Matrix could not make any direct alterations to him. Other than making him super healthy. So even though the Matrix is a part of Jason, he still relies heavily on the unit to assist him, kinda like having a computer wired to your brain. But his own mental capabilities are unenhanced. So what expanded perception he does have is because the Unit basically handles the heavy lifting for him.
