  1. Exact physics of how they work aren't given but they're a type of 3D sensor capable of even monitoring brain waves as it can let a Guyver tell who is a zoanoid and other details on an opponent's body like how much of it is being taken over by Aptom for example. Range is also not given but regular Guyvers can use them for early warning for around 100 meters, guess estimate by how some zoanoids have avoided detection. But can scan through walls and into the ground. The Hyper Sensors can detect energy signatures and that gives them early warning when someone is about to fire a energy weapon to dodge. The Gigantic has an additional pair of roving orbs and one non-moving orb at the base of the skull area behind the head. Range is far greater for the Gigantic but specific range is also unknown. We just use a guess estimate for the fan fic data file... Theory is CM augments host brain to process the hyper sensor data and it works as a kind of sixth sense, still takes host practice to properly use. Cloaked Zoaforms have been known to be able to avoid detection by the Hyper Sensors but can still show up as gap in perception to get approximate location if the host knows what to look for...
  2. The attack though knocked Sho out for a bit and left Aptom to attack Khan on his own for a bit. Also if Imakirum has inherited Archanphel's powers then he can create attacks powerful enough to destroy moons and would no longer be limited to just the virtual black hole as his only super powerful attack. The asteroid Archanphel destroyed to save the Earth was about the size of Mars! So basically the battle won't be so one sided and either could win... Also remember Imakirum is much more prone to put civilians in danger than Sho and that could be additional distraction in battle. Like how Sho took hits to protect both Aptom and the two reporters during his battle with Khan.
  3. His plasma ability may have been limited, it depends how he created the plasma... Like it could have been a effect of exchanging particles from the shadow dimension to normal space. The ball shape could also have been misleading as to how powerful they were, like balled lightning for example. But he had also locked the room that the other Zoacrystals were being kept in by using his dimensional power on it. So Apollon had to defeat Caerleon to gain access and gave him yet something else to focus on at the same time.
  4. Gravity Control Orb should remain metallic but the surrounding part is likely similar to the Power AMP crystals, which means they can be glowing different colors and metallic also means light will reflect off it. So there is a logical explanation
  5. Remember, it takes awhile to charge the Exceed Black Hole and if Imakirum has inherited Archanphel's full range of abilities then he can teleport out of the way of just about any attack, like how Archanphel escaped Guyot's virtual Black Hole attack...
  6. Takaya hasn't named all the zoaforms that have been shown in the Manga, but the one you're thinking about was right after FG2 commented that smashing through zoanoid flesh was like breaking eggshells... and then it was shown pages 34-36, she took it out by just vaulting over it and hitting it from behind with a head beam shot while she was still flipping in mid-air.
  7. You're assuming Imakirum isn't already boosted... remember Archanphel infused him with a massive charge of energy from the ARK to fully regenerate him and he's still a contender for the possible true identity for Apollon, which if true means he is close to rivaling Archanphel as at least one Zoalord commented it was like facing Archanphel and Apollon has shown to have a pretty big range of abilities.
  8. It was over a year before he showed up in a trench coat and covered in bandages. So he was probably either hospitalized or in a Bio-Tube recovery all that time he was away. So it's unlikely he could have made it anywhere on his own, at least very far. Meaning he either had someone on the side ready to recover his body and treat him or the rogue zoalords had him recovered, probably looking for the Unit Remover, and found him instead and barely alive. Since they lack the Unit Remover, otherwise they would have used it, it probably means Guyot managed to hide it before he was recovered but they know he has it and thus why they went after G1. So they let him recover and just was surprised he was out and about when they saw him on that roof top... Alternatively, someone we don't know came to his rescue or someone we wouldn't think would help him did...
  9. He was still wearing bandages over a year later and we already know Zoalords can die if they are seriously wounded and their Zoa Crystal is either removed or depleted of power. Plus he seems to have also been given a new Zoaform. So he definitely had help, the only question is whether that help was something he set up as a backup plan or whether another character like the other rogue Zoalords decided to help him. His initial survival though is theorized that the Unit Remover may have been what allowed him to survive. Since its operation required he infuse it with his own Bio-Energy that he may have been able to reverse the process and used the charge to keep himself alive until he reached help...
  10. Scouts - probably equivalent to human with basic light ballistic body armor, are easiest to damage but stealth and speed make them hard to target. Bio-Blasters - Capable of heavy fire power that can take out even tanks, but physically they are usually nearly as weak and vulnerable as Scouts. Strength Type - Stronger and Heavier armored, are generally more bullet resistant but armor piercing and anti-personnel weapons can cause damage but unless vital organs are hit they may continue to fight. A few may have thick armor that will take anti-tank weapons to cause any significant damage. Some like the deep sea zoanoids can survive 5 miles deep and withstand tons of pressure that usually prevents anything larger than a enzyme from working. So it'll take more than a normal bomb shock wave to hurt them and some of them have the strength of 20 men or twice the strength of a Ramotith, even Gregole is only 15 men. Pretty much all zoanoids are resistant to radiation. So even with a Nuke, many can survive unless they are in the instant kill zone and even close to there they can usually just dig into the ground deep enough to help shield them from the worst of the blast. Hypers - The elite, were originally pretty rare but after X-Day Chronos started making a lot more of them. Durability range from being able to easily be able to withstand small arms anti-armor weapons to being able to withstand direct hits from artillery shells. Not to mention those like Zektole who can take anything short of a Triple Guyver Pressure Cannon before their armor gets penetrated. Even Darzerb was seen taking a direct hit from a enhanced Vamore blast from Aptom and it barely scorched him. Neo's, the more powerful Hypers like Bio-Titans, and Zoalord types may have augmentations like the ability to generate a barrier shield and could then withstand anything up to a Mega Smasher. Gigantic Level Pressure Cannons can wear these down but even a single Gigantic Pressure Cannon can obliterate several floors of a skyscraper and basically blast it in half and that's more firepower than even a AC-130 Gunship is capable of producing. Some Zoalords like Khan even withstood a nuclear strike in his Dragonlord form and are capable of producing their own Giga Smasher level attacks. Overall Urban warfare will be extremely dangerous for human forces versus Zoanoid forces, all those places to hide and Zoaforms can attack from virtually any direction. Being strong enough to break through walls and through the ground or jumping from high above. Not to mention how they can use the environment to shield them from weapons fire. So primary tactic should be to get them out into the open where firepower can be focused on them for maximum effect. AC-130 Gunship can lay waste to regular zoanoids but it's flies low and slow enough that it can be fairly easily targeted by the Bio-Blaster types. So priority would be adding laser resistant or reflective armor otherwise they would get blown out of the sky before they can help much. Missiles can also do a lot of damage but targeting is key as many zoaforms can survive anything more than a near miss. Though against the occasional Hyper it'll be a good tactic.
  11. Remember the Gen have to be careful as well since Kavzar technology is derived from a combination of Guyver and Zoalord technologies. Tonnin is an example of how easily it can go wrong and worse they could accidentally create a Guyver Zoalord like being if they went too far. So a large part of Kavzar development is layers upon layers of control to ensure not only traditional psycho wave mental control but also loyalty. The process starts with a Aceaer, which is fused with the host to form the basic Kavzar, and finally the end result of the Enforcer has a combo Control Crystal/Control Medal with a secondary control crystal in the chest that helps regulate the power. This gives them enormous energy reserves like a Zoalord and advance control needed to regulate a HSL to higher efficiency levels.
  12. Aside from those who dye their hair or who are Eurasian... But the names are a pretty good indicator that they aren't Japanese... One thing to note though is most of the Zoalords aren't from Japan and Chronos is a World wide organization. Like the Ark was build in the Dead Sea. So this should come as a surprise... The only reason the story is centered on Japan is because Aptom and the Guyvers! But Agito for one has gone to other countries, and is usually found in the US. Like when he attacked Washington DC Chronos Towers, the Arizona Relic Base, New York City, etc... There are indication Valcuria may have been an assistant to Balcus as was shown in earlier Manga issues and would have explained her access and knowledge of the unit. It doesn't look like Takaya is following the same background for her as he did for the Out of Control OAV that he originally created the character for. So may have no direct link to Risker aside the unit she now uses
  13. Until Khan decides to use you for body mass index Really, though in the Manga it wasn't the President who was a zoanoid but the secretary general who was giving him the bad news and then transformed in front of the President. Makes more sense Chronos target someone along the line of concession who wasn't as well protected and just kill everyone above that person on X-Day... Course you could also do alternate history, it doesn't have to reflect our history exactly...
  14. Edward Caerleon had dimensional based ability to send himself into a shadow dimension (think pocket dimension) and from there control his interaction with normal space/time. He could do thinks like lock a room away from normal access or project three shadow versions of himself that since the real him was in the shadow dimension were intangible to any normal attack that could not reach into the shadow dimension. So it was more a distortion of reality than holograms... as for the Negative Plasma Sphers, perfectly normal as Plasma is the 4th state of matter and can be either negatively or positively charged. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plasma_%28physics%29 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ion http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ionization Lightning for example is conducted through the atmosphere with ionized air particles. Plasma can also conduct/generate electromagnetic fields. So very versatile and capable of producing various light, heat, and magnetic, and electrical effects. Apollon defeated Caerleon because he was able to also enter the Shadow dimension and thus directly interact with Caerleon and produce the same abilities.
  15. Big gun, Short lived. Taurus 28 Gauge Revolver. Kinda reminds me of Murikami's Zoa Buster pistol
  16. Well, even regular Guyvers technically have unlimited stamina but that doesn't mean they can't be exhausted. Basically for regular Guyvers the Gravity Control Orb continuously siphons energy from the Boost Dimension, just at a far lesser amount than the initial Bio-Boost process that super charges the host body when unit is activated. This effects things like rate of regeneration and how quickly they can recover after using a high energy ability like the Mega Smashers. So technically all Guyvers have at least a basic HSL. The difference for the Warrior Guyvers is that the more advance CM basically induces a continuous Bio-Boost, providing more efficient and virtually limitless supply of energy from the boost dimension that is only limited by the tolerance level of the host body to handle the energy. Allowing the unit to not only continuously remain at full power while using even the Smashers repeatedly but also to push the whole system to higher than normal levels and that's why WG's are so powerful compared to normal Guyvers. Kavzars may have a similar HSL system but less efficient means they can't maintain the same level of power and may even weaken during battle if they use up power faster than their HSL can replenish it...
  17. The remaining ACTF Guyvers are hardly push overs and combined they still pose a significant force, never mind whatever plans the ACTF has to make themselves stronger. Besides, do you really think Jason and Co. are just going to sit there and do nothing while Chronos attacks any part of the US, ACTF controlled or not?
  18. The actual Gigantic has Gravity Control Orbs in its chest plates, which the VDF states is the nucleus for the Smashers (basically means the particles and energy come from it). The Power Amp crystals work by taking and amplifying the energy from the gravity control orb(s)... net effect is suggested to give 20x boost to power and explains the Gigantic Power Punch, which btw is more accurately translated from the Manga as Gravity Knuckle. Basically a more powerful version of what a normal Guyver does when throwing a punch, since a normal Guyver also uses gravity energy channeled via momentum enhancer organs to boost momentum up to 10x. Guyver technology basically allows for gravitational energy to be channeled and used in various ways like for flight, pressure cannon, etc. The Fan Fic's Power Wave is basically a enhanced form of this ability and is one of the reasons WG's can do things like channel and control CPM or body shield energy... Part of the WG design is gravity control orbs are embedded into the Smasher chest plates, but except for WGC they are not visible. So that factor is already there for any Warrior based unit...
  19. Yes, anything capable of taking out a tank can also take out the majority of zoaforms. The physical types would especially be hard pressed to defend themselves at range. But the Bio-Blaster types also have the firepower to take out armored targets. So air support would be vital in ensuring zoaform forces don't turn the tide of battle. The most devastating tactics would be firing ordnance and missiles from out of visual range/line of sight. At the time Chronos took over the world this capability was limited but more modern weapon systems can do pretty pinpoint attacks from miles away without actually having to see the target. The Hyper Zoanoids approaching Zoalord level power though can in many cases withstand even direct hits that would take out tanks, not all of them but there are quite a few that specifically state they can take such hits. For those it would take firepower that you would use to take out entire battalions. But those that can put up a barrier shield could potentially survive even a baby nuke. So aside from nuking with a tactical nuke and hoping you don't miss them, those hard targets require Guyvers on up to take them out. But fortunately Hypers aren't that much a problem early in the war and later the ACTF developed more powerful weapons and defenses. McAvoy is referring to fighter jets capable of going super sonic. Most zoaforms aren't all that fast, the flying scouts for example are only about as fast as regular birds. Enzyme 3's probably can't go faster than say a fast helicopter, which leaves the high powered zoaforms but many of them didn't show up until after the ACTF won back much of the US from Chronos. While Neo-Zektole was originally a one off lost number, making it extremely hard to create and so you only saw them about as often as say Enzyme III's and their main targets would have been Guyvers. Leaving just Zoalords as the only regulars capable of going Mach speeds. I once calculated for Shin that he could travel around Mach 4 based on a scene in the Manga where he stated his travel time, along with starting and finish locations, and he did that while in human form. So probably a common speed for Zoalords. Course conventional weapons aren't all that effective against zoaforms but the ACTF has actually been preparing to fight since before X-Day. So they could have upgraded weapon systems to be more effective against zoaforms, besides the anti-zoanoid rifles they likely updated the missile guidance system to be able to target small targets and not rely on heat signature for example. So in many cases the fighter jets could have targeted zoanoids far from visual range and zoaform forces would have been by and large limited to anti-aircraft ground fire to defend themselves. Then by the time the enhanced zoaforms like Bio-Titans started showing up the ACTF acquired more advance alien tech and things like energy shields are pretty common now to help compensate. Though the ACTF are still very dependent on Guyvers and especially the enhanced Guyvers. ACTF also has some new Guyvers at the end of 7DOH and Dreadnought and his friends are still based in the US, New Cork Texas! Though how the other resistance forces around the world fare is another matter...
  20. Well remember Zeus Thunderbolt is basically a Guerrilla rebel force and one of the tactics of Guerrilla warfare is to seize or destroy enemy resources and in turn weaken the enemy, while making themselves stronger.
  21. Remember Agito use to work for Chronos... Even the equipment he used to create the Libertus and keep his Chronos scientist alive with his serum he acquired from Chronos... With the Gigantic he can just go shopping at Chronos warehouses
  22. Also at war time, people tend to work for far less. The good old work or die or become a slave is a great motivator... Want a raise, welcome to the front lines The biggest concern would be resources and especially food. Can't fight a war if you're starving to death and you can't make armors without materials needed to make them. Can worry about pay after the war is over...
  23. Instinct can have its downside as well if not balanced by intelligence and team work... So they basically need a good plan, don't try to attack directly, divide and conquer type theme...
  24. Don't jump the gun... read the final story edit and then you can complain
  25. Basically think Starman meets Independence Day and set in the old west... Basic plot is it's an alien invasion back in 1873 and they're starting with the old west region... only thing is someone seems to have gotten here before them as Daniel Craig's character wakes up, either he was abducted or he's possessed by another alien because he doesn't remember who he is, in the desert with an alien device around his wrist. Seem's he's a wanted man and Harrison Ford's character has a particular grudge against him but when the aliens invade Daniel Craig's alien bracelet may be their only ace in the hole.
