  1. Yes, the Navigation Spheres are binary counterparts to the unit CM and serve pretty much the same function for the Relic but since the Relic has no host that it then falls to the CM unit host to provide instructions and the will to tell the Relic what to do... The larger size also provides additional capacities that are not shown by the host unit CM... like being able to repair the CM is something that apparently on the Navigation Spheres are capable of, as well as providing the means to re-purpose themselves as shown by the creation of the Gigantic... Yes and no, Relics can be killed... The Arizona Relic, for example, is specifically fossilized... meaning it had long since died and is little more than a rocky shell that still contained the original Navigation Spheres... The Arizona Relic was just special to Chronos because those Navigation Spheres contained the knowledge of the Creators and is where Chronos gained most of its zoaforming technology from... While the Relic can still live without the Navigation Spheres, as shown by Archanphel's Silha Island that was originally the Relic damaged by the original Guyver 0... the basic rule is Relics appear to require external energy sources and those near natural geothermal energy sources can thrive while those without eventually die... but like any living thing the Relics are capable of a certain amount of regeneration on their own... It just may be that for more it requires the presence of a host/pilot mind to tell the Navigation Spheres... The creation of the Gigantic suggest they are capable of a lot but only if there's someone to tell/will it to do so... Yes, but without a host mind to tell it what to do then it just sits there... forever... but when a host mind is available then it's capable of just about anything, as the creation of the Gigantic is testament to... Not everything is up to the CM/NS alone... Like a Guyver is only a Guyver when bonded to a human or zoaform host... The Creators used the same unit but they were never Guyvers... Similarly, a War Relic would rely on how it's purposed and designed as to what it's exact capabilities would be but it would operate more efficiently and be capable of a greater range of capabilities than a similar designed and purposed Creator bio-ship... and like a regular Relic, it can do more but would similarly require a host/pilot to tell it what to do... The Boost Dimension is both used for power and for FTL travel, as well as short range teleportation... So it's all wormholes... The Guyver Blast Field is actually a wormhole and the destructive effect is from the event horizon... There is some leeway on how we can present and use any bio-ships in the fan-fic, especially since the Manga is a bit vague on much of the details of exactly what the Relic is and how it works... So we can theorize on details like whether the Relic organism is the same as the Guyver Unit's or only a similar organism... I personally think it's the same but without a host to merge with it remains in whatever state the creator tech put it in... and it basically requires the equivalent of stem cells for the organism to return to its original state but a Relic would lack this... at least in sufficient quantities to ever worry about it going rogue... leaving it to the Navigation Spheres to serve the purpose of DNA, etc... While we know not all Relics were used for the same things... The Arizona Relic stands out as a repository of Creator knowledge and is the source of most of Chronos zoaform technology and even the plans to the Ark... while the Relic that became Silha Island contained genetic samples and experiments, and is thus the source of most the strange and exotic life on Silha Island... So keep in mind that just like ships we would build, the creators specialized their's as needed and it's not just about what kind of CM or Navigation Sphere it was equipped with...
  2. You have the mail icon too, stranger still that you don't see your own... Anyway, I clicked yours and sent you a email... So you should have my return email...
  3. Strange, it should only look like that when you're not logged in to the forum... otherwise, you should see PM > EMAIL > WEB icons beneath each person's avatar...
  4. Okay, it's been a week, still having problems or just haven't checked the forum in awhile?
  5. Just click that little mail icon next to the PM icon...
  6. Guyvers would be mostly impervious to EMP... Only a direct electrical discharge into the CM would have effect and mainly because the CM is wired directly into the host brain and would be like getting a ECT as the discharge passed from the CM and into the host brain... We've seen this in the Mange when Elegan accidentally managed in passing to tap G1's CM with one of its tendril whips and resulted in the unit auto de-activating and Sho being rendered unconscious for awhile... But the Guyver itself has been electrocuted with minimal to no effect, aside from possible muscle spasm, etc. that probably has more to do with its effect on the host side than the unit... For the Boost dimension, it does expose whatever passes through it to intense energy but this seems to manifest mostly as heat and it doesn't vaporize everything... From what I gather from the Manga, the best example is the moon/meteor/planetoid the Creators sent to destroy the Earth was deposited on a collision course with Earth via sending it through the Boost Dimension... It came out smoking a bit, as if heated, but otherwise intact... Massive of course but it wasn't smoothed out as if melted or anything... So mostly it seems the boost energy is just raw energy but not so intense as to ensure everything passing through it would be vaporized. What usually causes most destruction is the blast field when a unit is activated and the unit G transitions from the Boost Dimension into normal space time... it's basically a spherical type worm hole, coming from a different dimensional perspective it looks like a sphere to us and it's the even horizon of this worm hole that causes the destruction of anything nearby... Same thing like other Sci-Fi depictions of wormholes... Like Stargate, the event horizon of that opening has been shown to vaporize anything in its way, including otherwise indestructible alien battleships. Now, the Cyber Guyver is different as he's a mostly composed of nanites and thus like the name implies he's part machine and it's the machine half that's vulnerable to EMP... Though, like the STTNG's Borg or SG's Replicants... CG can adapt to most things, given time...

  9. Aside from worrying about losing containment on the singularity, Dark Nova is also pretty hard to kill... Mind that the Dark Nova upgrade came from a universe where the Nova project was completed and acquired some warrior tech. So her CM is enhanced now and isn't as easy to destroy as other Nova units anymore... besides, her base durability is higher because of her density and ability to absorb the energy of attacks...
  10. Even the WG auto escape teleport system has its limits, anything that can effect hyper space and higher dimensions in general would be a threat... The effects of a black hole up close and personal would definitely qualify... Small black holes for example have stronger sheering effect around it than big black holes as the transition point spreads out further for smaller black holes... though that's real black holes, artificial ones would be a lot less dangerous to teleporters. Remember the last time DN's CM almost lost control of the singularity for example, and she was the weaker Black Nova back then, it created a lot of dangerous effects in the general area and that was only a partial exposure... if she had completely lost containment it would have been a lot worse. While DN's regeneration may be slower than Angel's but they go back and forth on what defensive capabilities they have advantages over... Like DN can withstand more unshielded for example. One of the reasons why DN's regeneration is slower is because she's incredibly dense and has more total mass to regenerate... Mind though that the density makes her harder to hurt and the extra natural mass means it's easier for the momentum enhancers to boost physical attack power. While DN's Gravity Field Matrix may not be the equal of WG's but it's still very powerful and properly utilized could pose a serious problem for Angel... Mind, most of Angel's power is EM energy based and DN's Gravity Shield is strong enough to manipulate all EM around her to the point of being able to use it as a cloak, which would effectively shield her from all EM based attacks as well... though, similarly, DN's Lightning Storm Flash should have little effect on Angel...
  11. I'd just point out that neither Angel or Dark Nova are as powerful as they are simply because of how advance their units are... Power through Advance technology is how the Warrior Units scale... but Angel is as powerful as she is now because her unit altered her to be a more powerful host. So like a Zoa-Guyver is much more powerful than a normal human hosted unit would have been. While Dark Nova is similarly enhanced, using a singularity in her case to boost power levels... Though, she is more advance than she started as Black Nova... Since the Dark Nova upgrade includes Warrior tech but the technologies of both are also different because Angel's unit is a design trying to attempt to replace the Enforcer Kavzars, as a easier to create alternative. So there's some apples to oranges differences in this comparison... Btw, Angel winning doesn't necessarily mean she will live... Dark Nova's singularity will become a full black hole if containment is breached and destroy everything in her vicinity... Though, the duration of a black hole varies according to its size/mass... since black holes lose energy over time, Hawking Radiation... they eventually evaporate to the point they are no longer dense enough to be a singularity. Meaning they would explode like a nova... Energy release will vary upon size/mass of the black hole and smaller black holes will evaporate faster than larger ones, basically a snowball effect. So micro black holes can last nano-seconds, while a black hole with the mass of a Super Air Carrier can last around 10 years and one with the mass of a mountain that was created during the birth of the universe would be expiring just about now... So bigger scales to longer significantly... Though, in the Guyver universe, the Black Hole Weapon Sho used just evaporated... So Takaya may have a different idea on how it works but then again that weapon was firing a artificial black hole or simply didn't have enough mass for a big explosion... But worse case this means killing Dark Nova could be very bad news for anyone within a few thousand miles of her... And that's assuming the black hole isn't close enough to Earth to slurp it up and increase its mass... Mind, also the adjusted power scale of the story... Since we adjusted for the Gigantic being much more powerful than originally estimated... So the high power characters aren't as exceedingly more powerful than the Gigantic anymore.
  12. Yes, there's just nothing much to talk about right now...
  13. Could use some spelling and grammar corrections but story wise I like it...

  15. Overlords would naturally have their abilities boosted by the Unit... The reason why WG has limited telepathy is a separate factor...
  16. As the Data File describes, it's a "zoalord like gravity shield"... Basically, she just has layered multiple shielding between the Gigantic like barrier shield, Zoalord like barrier shield and Guyver Blast Shield... The Praetorian Units are based on WG2 units, from WG2's original Universe, that are merged with Mark 2 tech upgrade from the W'Kar universe... So they're a mix of technology from the two universes and how they manifest depends on the host the unit is merged with but the WG gravity shield isn't part of the mix...
  17. Well, to avoid any confusion (because the CM would prevent any actual merger), they weren't merged in the literal sense... more like an Aceaer Unit he made himself into a kind of exo-suit, Aptom basically wrapped himself around G1 to cloak him and even seemed to shield him a bit before then pealing off and reforming into his normal zoaform. Basically, Aptom was taking full advantage of his shape-shifting ability to a level we haven't seen before. Benefits to the Gigantic would probably be limited, given the power level difference and not actually merging. However, it could come in very handy for the other characters... especially, if Aptom could possibly do it for more than one character at a time. Though not likely to be over used except maybe for stealth... but Aptom could possibly pretend that's he's wrapped around someone as a decoy as another possibility...

  19. Telepathy doesn't really change intelligence, it just changes level of awareness and what kind of information can be accessed. So applies more to tactical awareness. However, Guyver Units do effect the host brain in some ways. While it's cannon that the brain itself is not altered, the Unit does clearly help the host process information. The Hyper Sensors, for example, provide information to the host that the human brain isn't evolved to handle. Also the ability of the Guyver to tell friend from foe is clearly linked to the CM"s link to the host brain. The only time this has been shown to fail is when the host brain was damaged. So we can basically conclude that the CM works in symbiosis with the host brain, working together for enhanced functionality. Allowing the host to be hyper aware of the environment and during combat it helps speed up host thinking processes to the point that most opponents look like they're moving in slow motion and the CM can assist the host responses. While this is clearly a enhancement, it doesn't really make the host significantly smarter other than being able to respond faster and process information that may otherwise overload the host mind. Also the effect is only there when the unit is active and only maxes out during combat. WG CM does take this further though, since it keeps a working copy of the host mind. So even if the host brain is damaged it can still tell friend from foe. While this alone still doesn't make the host more intelligent. The more powerful CM running a copy of the host mind and working in symbiosis with the host mind means the host and CM basically work together as one brain. This is in part why a WG is so much faster than a regular Guyver and also part of the reason why the host never tires and can avoid sleep while the unit is active. It's also the basis for the WG battle collective, as the CM can combine the brain power and awareness of all networked compatible WG CM's to form a hive mind that allows all effective units to work together and respond to the battle field far more efficiency than they could separately. So IMO you can basically add a point to the intelligence for a single WG host and 2 to 3 while in a battle collective...
  20. Wolverine, without his regeneration and enhanced skeleton is just as easy to harm as any human. So the fact he rates 4 is a testament to how much his regeneration is a factor. While the Guyver starts out with a much higher base durability before we even factor the regeneration ability. Though the Guyver regeneration may not be as quick as Wolverines, it has more potential as the Guyver can regenerate as long as the CM remains intact and has a few cells left to work with. Also Guyver regeneration has no limit as energy is continuously siphoned from the Boost Dimension but Wolverine can use up his regeneration if he keeps on getting hurt. This is besides the defensive factor as a Guyver can do things like use the Pressure Cannon to deflect attacks and serve as a partial shield. While the Gigantic can generate a barrier field. Not to mention at activation the worm hole event horizon serves as a temporary blast shield. So at least a 5+...
  21. I'd up the fighting skills, mind a Guyver has Spiderman like speed and reflexes and can sense when a energy attack is targeting them as well as be hyper aware of their environment. While the CM also kicks in if the host fails to respond to a threat. The ability to regenerate probably safely puts durability at 6.
  22. The 11 hours shouldn't be compared by itself because for most of that time both the severed forearm and the G1 CM was apparently dormant. Most of the regeneration took place over a very short period of time and is likely tied to the organisms ability to tap into the boost dimension naturally. While normal Guyver regeneration is mostly determined by how much energy the Gravity Control Orb siphons from the boost dimension and that's slower than regeneration by Bio-Boost. Taking the example of G1 regenerating his brain though, given that it was done fast enough for G1 to see his father's Enzyme forearm finally dissolve, means approximately 1% (whole human brain accounts for 2% of our body mass and G1 only lost a large chunk, along with other wounds) of damage was regenerated in a matter of minutes (some of which was the last part of the fight). This still means hours for near total body regenerations but we can't be sure it matches up to the 11 hours. While regeneration is pretty subjective, since it can vary depending on how much mass needs to be replaced. Regenerating a hand can be done a lot faster than a whole arm for example. So say your estimates are correct, then regenerating smaller levels of damage would be almost instantaneous for Dreadnought.
  23. They'll hopefully have a more affordable model by then Though, if they get too practical then we may see the first mech war sooner rather than later.
  24. Seems Suidobashi Heavy Industries is at it again and are on track for selling a commercial mech... The company previously created a 12.5ft tall mech prototype, that was partially controlled using Microsoft’s Kinect sensor. Now the company showed off a completed version of the Kuratas recently in Japan... Not cheap though, starting price is 1.3 Million before any customization...
  25. Hey Matt, you should work on that a bit more and then use Brian's sig for the speech bubble
