Power Generation Question
zeo replied to Azaar's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
About the same size, but mind a power system is more than just the generator but also the power management systems and of course added protection so it doesn't get easily damaged during battle. -

Strength Level, 100 Men to Weightage
zeo replied to gelionlegends's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
I would say he would have given Sean a way to have a fighting chance, more than just a cracked CM as that was already done with G2 and Takaya obviously likes to make his characters rise to the occasion by either becoming stronger, Gigantic and Exceed being prime examples, or a display of team work like Bio-Freezer freezing Enzyme 3's for one of the Guyvers to then finish them off. So he would have gone either with a lower, more reasonable, advantage of say 5x strength or given Sean access to something that would have helped even the odds a bit like a Unit remover, he couldn't use it to remove as it needs Bio-Energy to power it but could have temporarily weakened GZ, or use of the Relic. Like how Sho would have used the Relic against Guyot if he didn't have Murikami as a hostage at the time. Or use one of the Guyver vulnerabilities like to sonic attacks, we've never really seen what would happen if a Guyver used its sonic busters on another Guyver but it could have been used to disorientate GZ perhaps... Pretty much anything but a direct fair fight as a 15x difference means GZ would have totally dominated the fight and would have won it easily for a very short fight. Mind the higher strength level also means faster reflexes and speed. So Sean at least would have to be able to distract GZ well enough for Cori to get a clean shot without GZ just deflecting it like Sean did to that thug at the beginning of the movie. Mind also a Manga conversion means better hyper sensors too than shown in the movie... Though considering Sean learned the hard way that the CM was the Guyver's one weak spot in the first movie, it was surprising he didn't try to get more head shots during the fight but could have GZ easily blocking those attempts until Cori's bullet gives him the opening. Though another problem with the bullet strike is we know Guyver head beams can intercept and vaporize bullets pretty quick... So I'd suggest Atkins fired at the same time too and his shot got zapped but allowed Cori's shot to get through maybe. -
Maybe more lethal but IMO not more powerful, Gaster's design is already pushing the limits and Khan's were mainly just a lot bigger. May be pushing it, a Gigantic's Giga Smashers are 100 times the power of a normal Mega Smasher. So can easily take out entire cities or even small states. But might reach similar scale of damage...

Strength Level, 100 Men to Weightage
zeo replied to gelionlegends's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Guyver stamina isn't that limited, it just regenerates at a slower rate than WG"s, and in close range... If WG makes the mistake of fighting fair then about 5 seconds before GZ rips him limb from limb. Remember the Malmot vs Gregole battle? Gregole has the strength of 15 men and Malmot only 7, but that was more than enough to totally dominate and the difference between WG's 4x and GZ's 15x is even larger with nearly a full 4x difference. So a physical fight would be the last thing WG should do against GZ at that much of a strength difference. Never mind any normal Guyver going against Guyver Zoanoid would be like a human going against a Gregole. -
Strength Level, 100 Men to Weightage
zeo replied to gelionlegends's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
There isn't exactly a specific formula as each Zoaform is unique and has to be considered individually. Each zoaform has different strengths and different weaknesses. So I factor pretty much the whole package... Basically though characters that have abilities based more on how they are designed than how much energy they actually generate get a ~1/4 to 1/2 boost increase compared to their strength level depending on the type of unit they are bonded to. Mind any special abilities would have to be considered with how they would integrate with the Guyver and the likely type of enhancements and/or alterations. While characters like the Bio-Titans, who's abilities are directly representative of their Bio-Energy, would get closer to the full equivalent boost. Mind that with the re-write we may be assimilating more of the details from the Manga and the obviously higher power level of the Gigantic but there's still a lot of guess work and we don't all agree how to proceed with the restructuring of character abilities. Like for example, if you look up the Guyver Zoanoid DF now you'll see he now has the strength of 1500 men and is stated as being physically stronger than the Gigantic... -
No, it means he can use the enhanced muscles that make that form so powerful without having to fully take that form. Like how Murikami could tap his Zoalord strength without actually fully transforming. So he would be as strong as the equivalent muscle mass allows. Though, since getting Zektol'es DNA he has managed to create a more compact form and doesn't need to be as bulky as Darzerk, while also optimizing himself with other abilities at the same time. Only if it provided a way to improve the chemical reaction...it Even the Guyver can't change the laws of physics and chemical reactions, however it could possibly augment them and do something like super charge the chemicals with the Bio-Boost energy... Kinda like how X-Men Gambit can make almost any object he touches explosive by charging them up with a kind of kinetic energy. So theoretically it could be possible that the Unit could augment the reactions to the point that they're either just much more energetic, like one missile equaling the normal full volley or if the reaction is boosted enough then it could go nuclear and then make each bio-missile powerful enough to take out a couple city blocks. Unless those features are a product of the CM and forcing the organism to take specific forms and function. While Aptom is very similar to the organism and it's a question of who would absorb who... much like how he almost lost to Khan while buying Sho enough time to fire the black hole attack. Though, btw, that incident also stated that Aptom couldn't absorb a Zoalord because the Crystal prevented it, as another similarity to the Guyver CM. Otherwise, yes, Aptom could theoretically gain some Guyver features if he ever managed to successfully absorb a part of the Guyver. Entirely depends on how you think the unit would handle such a host...

General idea of using the CM like a computer has the same strengths and weaknesses. Multiple CM's have to work together in order to gain the benefit. Normally this would be done by merging, like the Gigantic CM. It's trickier to do otherwise to keep everything in sync but not impossible. Eliminator is a good example of what you're going for...

Control Medal and Zoacrystal
zeo replied to jedi-guyver's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
More like it could be related, the CM isn't all metal but also has crystal components like the part that the light actually shines out from. So the Zoacrystal may have been drawn from similar technology. Like other Creator devices like the unit remover has what looks like a CM inside when it opens up for use. Along with the Navigation Spheres of the Relics. The transformation of Waferdanos from a forest entity to a hairy looking humanoid zoalord was apparently done by just giving it a Zoacrystal. So in some aspects it could be considered similar to a CM but intended purposes are a little different. -
Strength Level, 100 Men to Weightage
zeo replied to gelionlegends's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Well that was the old estimate for the Gigantic, mind we know more about the Gigantic now and put it's power level much higher than before. Though strength level is still unknown I would put it at a conservative level of 5x the base Guyver, similar to the established ratings for some of the Gigantic's other abilities. Though in terms of raw power the Gigantic has 20x the power of a regular Guyver and this is shown through abilities like the power punch (aka Gravity Knuckles). Basically the new power scale makes the Gigantic even stronger than the base level of a WG. Similarly the power level of Zoalords has also been adjusted. I go by the idea of relative potential as the actual multiplier and a general idea that increasing power levels become increasingly harder to achieve. Mind most zoaforms are specialized so their abilities don't necessarily reflect their actual power level. Like a WG can focus all of its energy to one limb to boost the strength of that one limb but it wouldn't change the overall power level. Though depending on that special ability it could get enhanced further than the other abilities depending on how it works and how it could possibly interact with the Guyver... Like WG Vamore lasers got upgraded to Hyper Smashers for example. Yes, zoaforms have more potential than unenhanced humans and thus can be boosted to higher levels but as mentioned before I balance that by focusing more on what the host body bio-potential might be and not just on how it's designed. A low strength class like Vamore or like a scout, strength range is like 2-5 men for those types. -
It's not the physical appearance but how biology is designed that achieves the abilities and level of power. So it's more a matter of mass as to how that scales. Depends, if the zoaform has something that can augment the design of another then it could be used that way. Basically Aptom has the option to mix and match to create a superior version but like building a gun, he's limited to what he has to work with... It would include all abilities but limited to the sum of the parts essentially. Aptom can alter the default designs but he can't change physics or work with something he doesn't have. Like he couldn't create Darzerb strength before he first absorbed Darzerb, etc. The missiles are chemical based, so are limited to chemical energy. If he absorbs a Zoaform that used some form of energy warhead missiles then he could augment the Gaster type but aside from mass he can't do much to the chemistry. Again, Aptom can't change the laws of physics or chemistry. Only the weapon design and what it uses can be changed and that depends on Aptom's library of zoaforms. While Aptom is not capable of absorbing a Guyver because of the CM... He's already tried and failed... While it's unknown if he would even still have his ability to alter his form if he was bonded to a Guyver Unit.

A sense of humanity in all its aspects, and in Jason's case especially that the sum of his being remain inherently human in the sense that when all is said and done he's still essentially the same man he started out as despite any enhancements. So much so that if he didn't need the power and could just give it up he would and return to his old life. Like Sho, Jason has no desire for power and only fights for what he believes is right and to protect those he cares about. More or less yes, the more advance the CM then the more advance the adaptation and alterations it is capable of. Like the difference between a standard unit and a Gigantic. The Gigantic doesn't just go on the host unit but like the host unit does to the host it merges, adapts, and alters the host unit. So you can draw that as a parallel, though the CM may need the data on the form in question or have some hidden potential of the host it can tap. Remember, the Creators did zoaform a lot of humans and so a lot of modern humans still have residual zoaform DNA. Even though they mostly degraded to junk (it means DNA with no apparent use) DNA. Though I think the reason the Creators came to Earth in the first place is because life here shares properties with the Bio Boosted organism... Meaning the reason why human hosts are more powerful than Creator hosts is not just because humans were evolved as weapons but because Earth life also has the potential to tap the Boost Dimension and could explain zoanoids in general. Since Zoanoids can increase their mass, something that is impossible due to conservation of energy law unless they are tapping an external energy source and the Boost Dimension would fit this nicely. Though unlike Guyvers they can't super charge themselves or continuously draw upon it. Similarly the Bio-Boost Clone monster could alter its form and mass but still hunted and was described as a parasitic organism. Suggesting that even though the organism could tap the Boost Dimension that it still needed to eat for whatever reason. Suggesting that the ability to tap the boost dimension only works when altering mass/form, which also goes in line with Zoaforms using it to help them transform. As to Kavzars, the Gen developed a whole series of fail safes to avoid the Guyver effect, but essentially the Kazvars are hybrid Zoalord/Guyver creations. Leaning more towards Zoalords as the Gen in the WG universe never mastered the WG level of technology but in the WG2 universe they did and thus why the Kavzar in that universe are much more powerful. Fail safes include bred loyalty, as seed worlds population are raised and genetically predisposed to be loyal to the Gen. Then when ready they are bonded to Aceaer Units to become the base Kavzar, which then can be enhanced to Kavzar Commander class once they prove themselves enough, and finally the Enforcer class requires the most elite and so much resources that they are pretty rare, like Generals rather than soldiers. The main issue is the more powerful the being the harder they become to control. So they go to a lot of trouble to ensure their loyalty is total and complete. Though how that loyalty is interpreted is not the same for all Enforcers... Depends on the level of host adaption and augmentation, along with how much data is stored in the CM for what it could do to the host. Assuming of course that the crystal itself doesn't contain any data. One crystal would be enough, though despite the segmented nature of a WG CM it still functions as a single CM, just like a multi-core computer still operates as a single computer. No, unless the unit is specifically designed to limit how powerful it makes the host then it will just go to its design limits. Even then there is no guarantee that the Guyver effect may not over ride those limits. WG CM is about the same size as a standard CM... Part of the CM's job is to link to the host brain, which it can't really do from the chest. Though you could have it near the spin and function like a secondary brain and it doesn't have to be external. If the Nova Units had more WG like CM, yes their power level would be closer to a WG's but there are other differences to consider. While Dark Nova does tap some WG technology it's CM is in its own class. A bit of both, Angel is basically a secret experiment to create a new type of Enforcer class Kavzar. Aside from the Gen responsible the rest don't know about her unit. Though she has turned out more like a Guyver so far... A Depends on how powerful you want to make your character, there are flaws and limitation in many high powered WG fan fic characters to keep them from being too powerful. It's very easy though to make them too powerful. So really up to just how powerful you want to make it and whether you can also dream of any limitations to keep it there...
-
Yes, thus why the only thing holding Jason back from becoming more powerful is his refusal to give up his humanity. Including a Zoacrystal runs the risk of turning the character into a Guyver Zoalord. Zoafication is only part of the process, while the crystal too is involved in the transformation. Like mentioned before, Waferdanos was originally a forest entity but just giving it the crystal transformed it into a Zoalord. Of course Waferdanos was already a near zoalord like creature as it could split off humanoid tree like creatures from itself that it could then control like a Zoalord controls zoanoids. But is still risky integrating into a Unit that adapts the host and itself... Essentially, basically think of it like a super advance DNA computer that keeps track of host DNA and keeps the Guyver organism under strict control. Gravity Control Orbs are integrated into the WG's hyper smashers, similar to the Gigantic Giga Smashers. While there is a secret of the WG unit dealing with the CM... Don't believe I can comment about it though... Nova Units CM are only about double, while the upgrade that turned BN into Dark Nova involved Warrior tech being added to it... While Angel is like Prometheus, a combo Guyver/Kavzar being. So combines host augmentation with near WG level unit technology. Yes, we only limit by potential and zoaforms have more potential than regular humans. Thing of it more like a alternative to zoaforming, the host is still getting altered to produce a more powerful Bio-Boosted entity. Normally all the CM segments are in play, it's rather more up to what the host potential as to how far the unit takes the power level.
-
You're basically looking to make something between Dark Nova and Dreadnought... Without the Matrix though it'll be closer to Dark Nova because power scale basically gets harder to advance as the character is made more powerful. Based on the control factor for that power is host potential and pushing beyond it starts to strain the system. HSL alone for example has no real limit, it just maxes out to what host potential limits it to. Any more and the host starts getting burnt out like a fuse. So system is naturally balancing. Regeneration helps but as power is scaled up it gets increasingly harder to further increase power levels... At least how we have it set up for WG characters. So WG's are more powerful because they're basically mainlining the boost dimension energy and the more advance CM let's them max out the potential further by being more efficient and putting less strain on the host body for handling all that power. For the Hyper Sensors, yes more is better but depending on size of character you may not have room for more. The Gigantic basically has 5 btw, the four moving orbs and the one at the back base of the head.
-
The Zoacrystals have never been fully explained in the manga but the one consistent feature they've mentioned is that it stores a massive amount of energy. So as long as the Zoalord has the crystal and it retains a charge then the Zoalord will be augmented, even to the point they are harder to kill as the energy can sustain them. While removal of the Zoacrystal also seems to revert the bearer to their original physical state. Woferdanos for example was originally a living forest and when he used up his crystal and removed it he reverted to that form and it seems just having the crystal is what allowed him/it to become the hairy character we first saw. Similarly, at least one other Zoalord has lost his crystal and being centuries old appeared to have aged very rapidly. So theoretically the Zoacrystal is some sort of multi-dimensional crystal that possibly interacts with the boost dimension and augments the being it is bonded to. The power they can possess is immense but still finite as they can still use it up. On the WG2 CPM, it's basically another application of the same technology that grants WG his gravity shield. Essentially, it's derived from controlling the Guyver's natural blast field which is in reality a type of worm hole and the blast field is its event horizon and links the host to the boost dimension. So depending on how that is manipulated results in an alternate way for the boost dimension to be tapped for energy. The normal Guyver draws its power from the boost dimension upon activation but it's not a continuous process. So the gravity control orb siphons energy to keep the Guyver's energy levels up. Meaning even standard Guyvers technically have HSL, but it's not as efficient or as effective as the WG's. So it takes them more time to recover from heavy use of energy or damage. Though a de-activation and quick re-activation let's normal Guyvers re-tab the main bio-boost from the Boost Dimension for a quicker recovery but it's risky as they are vulnerable for that period of time and if too hurt could lose consciousness before re-activating. Back to the CPM's, the WG's Gravity Shield is actually more powerful with it's ability to manipulate and store gravitation energy but for WG2's the CPM's basically let them mainline the energy from the boost dimension. Though mind WG's are already pretty much maxing out their potential with the HSL and the CPM was originally designed just as a weapon and it's the Guyver effect that let's WG2's manipulate it for a power boost by channeling it internally. Limits being it's an act of Will, and puts a strain on the host. Along with the fact it can't be used to both boost and be used as a weapon at the same time. Total energy is actually the same, but power that's normally used as a beam weapon can be diverted for other usages. For the Black Nova singularity... basically it allows for 100% conversion of matter into energy and makes the BN's extremely efficient. Along with the massive gravitational power that Guyvers naturally channel, momentum enhancer organs, etc all channel gravitational energy, means BN's are physically very powerful and also can siphon more energy from the boost dimension than regular Guyvers can with their more limited gravitational power. Combining the singularity with a WG's gravity shield though would make for a insanely powerful character though. So that should be avoided...

The Guyver's Stamina: some spoiler alerts
zeo replied to Zoaknight's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Uh, nope... If you haven't been keeping up with the Manga this may be a *spoiler*... But Sho went on to rip the Gigantic back from Agito and then went Exceed... By the time he did finally de-activate he just walked away. So you can say the host Will power has a lot to do with it... -
The Guyver's Stamina: some spoiler alerts
zeo replied to Zoaknight's topic in Guyver Science / General Science Lab Forum
Guyver stamina is a bit of a complex subject. From what I understand of the unit operation I've come to the following conclusions... 1) The Guyver unit draws its power from the Boost Dimension, where it also stores itself when not active. 2) The initial Bio-Boost induces a massive infusion of energy, essentially super charging the Guyver. 3) The Gravity Control Orb provides a link to the Boost Dimension and thus functions essentially as a trickle charger to help maintain and recovery energy reserves. So given time the Guyver can not only complete regenerate from any injury that doesn't destroy the CM but can even restore energy reserves to fire the Mega Smashers again after depletion. It's just a slow process and thus it takes longer than most Guyver battles. 4) The Guyver organism can naturally initiate a Bio-Boost but this seems to only take place when it's changing form, this conclusion being derived from the Bio-Boost Monster clone that was created from G1's severed forearm. This provides an alternate explanation for how the Guyver can completely regenerate from just a few cells and the CM, but takes nearly a half day to initiate. Though this helps explains how the unit could completely regenerate the host in a matter of minutes, given that normal regeneration is much slower. 5) Guyver units can be de-activated before the unit has fully regenerated the host. Presumably as long as the life of the host is not in danger then the armor can be disengaged. Thus explaining why sometimes the host looks worse for wear and other times they seem completely recovered, depending on how long it has been after a battle before they de-activate the armor. 6) Regeneration of cloths appears secondary, as areas where the Guyver has been damaged can leave gaps in clothing but if allowed to it appears the unit can regenerate the cloths as well if given time, since the gaps in clothing has not been consistent in the Manga, but the host is the priority. 7) The CM and consequently the unit appears to respond to the host will but this puts a mental strain upon the host and appears to be the main source of fatigue. So even if the host appears physically fine they can still require long periods of rest/sleep. Btw, G1 has demonstrated in the Manga the ability to quickly re-activate the unit. The result was all the damage he had just a minute before was completely gone and appeared to be back to full strength. It's a dangerous tactic though as the host is vulnerable while the unit is de-activated and risks being killed or knocked out before the armor can be called back. Also if the host is not fully regenerated then that provides a additional risk factor for the host in case the host loses consciousness before the armor can be called back. However, the Gigantic Armor seems to require so much power that though it too gets instantly repaired with a re-activation or transfer but it's reserves remain depleted unless given time to recharge in the Boost Dimension. Though it's possible that the Exceed form may circumvent this limit as the transformation involves siphoning massive amounts of energy from the Boost Dimension with the Gigantic's Power Amp Crystals and could mean the Gigantic can be recharged faster if the host has the will to do so. -

Favorite Zoaform + Favorite G-Unit combo
zeo replied to jedi-guyver's topic in Warrior Guyver Fan-Fiction
Remember, under the new power scale the Zoalords are more powerful... But the Hypers should pretty much stay the same. Since aside from a few rare exceptions like Neo Zektole, none of them had the power to destroy whole cities by their lonesome.... Combined with the limiter means we can have more reasonable over kill characters For cloaking, once you reach invisibility there isn't much that can enhance it more. The cloaking Zoaforms are pretty much undetectable already, it's just Guyvers can sense a gap in their perception and they really have to be looking for it to even sense that much. Though definitely possible to spread the effect and invisible attacks would be interesting but likely limited to a certain radius. Though there are other cloaking zoaforms, like that one that attacked FG2 with the Enzyme III's that was also able to generate a barrier field that so far we've only seen Zoalords and the Gigantic produce before. While depending on the Unit, dimensional effects could come into play for effects that could also make them harder to counter-attack unless also attacked by someone with dimensional abilities. -
The details were always vague but the CM is made of a material that doesn't exist on Earth. So they would have to have gotten it from the other Relics. Besides if it was fully man made then they would have made multiple prototypes and wouldn't have been as worried about whether one test unit would have failed. Since the reason they left it in storage and never activated it was because they were never sure it would work and admitted repeatedly that it's incomplete, which wouldn't be the case if they made the parts. Not to mention there would be less reason for it to be so segmented if it was made from terrestrial materials. The ramifications for the story also factor because that level of knowledge would also mean Chronos would know how to interfere with the CM function, or even make their own Unit Remover. Also they could have figured out how to talk to the Navigation Spheres if they had that level of understanding of the CM to actually make one from scratch themselves. Not to mention the effect on their zoaforming technology. So makes much more sense they got some raw materials and patched it together into a makeshift artificial CM.
-
Well, FG2's CM isn't so much man made as man assembled. They took materials from the other Relics to make the CM. So it's still Creator made materials, just salvaged and slapped together into a barely functioning CM. So probably better to suggest it was a stepping stone to better understand Creator tech and the repair of CM was the next step, they still can't create one at that point but understand enough to fix them.
