does this make four guys? Ryuki, Purgstall, Odin and LordSpleach? Odin you didn't say specifically, but by your level of involvement, I think it's a good assumption? I go to my mates on saturdays. usually from 1400 to around 0100 , so a saturday is pretty much impossible for me. thursdays are good for me, how is everybody else's thursday? LordSpleach, is your time zone the same as New York? I have that in my phone. currently 5 hours behind me.

wow, that is pretty ambitious! well let's not get too ahead of ourselves just yet I think weekly is good. each of us can easily pick a subject to talk about. some things one of us will be very knowledgeable about and maybe the others not so knowledgeable. I don't think we need to do a lot of research on stuff, because I think it makes it more interesting when one person doesn't know stuff and asks all the questions about it. it's likely that they will ask questions that the listener might want to ask. scheduling could be tricky, but i think it would be fine if we can simply give an idea of what our schedule is like. my calendar is generally wide open, so I think it would be easier to work off of somebody else's availability. I am not sure about recording but i am sure it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

So Odin brought up the idea of doing a podcast for our site. I think it's a great idea myself. So what I think is best, is if we can get a team of 3 guys. this way there is lower pressure on each guy. we can use skype to set up a three way conversation and can record it and put it to youtube or put it to a thread in mp3 format. or both. first port of call is getting some guys together who want to do this. after that, we can look at what we would be talking about. I think if we just pick a general topic, then we can see how it goes. we could end up talking about anything, from our perceptions of kamen rider or super sentai, to our ideas about where guyver is headed. oh, in case anyone was in any doubt, I intend to do this. so we have one guy so far. (well maybe two but i'll wait for LS to post.)

That's good. it is catchy. I was tempted to say it's too long, but when you know animation and vocalise the web address, it is catchy and really easy to remember.

I like your business card design. it's very striking. I'd lose the rounded edges though. i heard chinese people view it as a homosexual statement. when you say you're getting a domain through squaresoft, what do you mean? do you mean, a cheap domain? domains are only about $20 a year.

ok interesting research although do you think that the primary reason for guyver having bilateral configuration is because a human has bilateral configuration? everything on guyver has a human base. megasmashers, each side is actually called a lung in the datafile. face vents, reflect nostrils, sensor orbs reflect ears.

it's fairly weak and really only hobbled together as i've been watching bits and pieces. i just found it really intriguing to think along these lines after being reminded about the uzumaki. I thought about some more things. we know that madara had unlocked the rinnegan, and we also know that tobi gave the rinnegan to nagato so what about if nagato's rinnegan came from madara? well we know that tobi is not madara anyhow... so it's not exactly difficult to imagine this being the case. what i do find interesting here is that tobi did not activate or attain the rinnegan himself. he implanted the eye into himself. this suggests that he was not capable of developing this? that suggests to me that he does not naturally have this power. it may be a long shot but that is what is making sense to me at the moment. also, he wears a bandage over his face under the mask. just like danzo did and like kakashi does. true, he has one sharingan active all the time, that is very difficult to do. even for an uchiha. what would allow him to do so? I'm thinking massive amounts of chakra and incredible regenerative ability. talking of which, he has lost limbs on countless occasions and seem to have recovered very well.

this is true, but what i am also driving at, is what i have noticed watching this recent release of main story anime. what they have alluded to is that the uzumaki clan have special chakra, usually showing to have higher reserves of chakra than anyone else, also a great ability to withstand injury and heal quickly, and lastly they are noted to have very long lives. i think these factors could lend credibility to if tobi were a uzumaki. of course his hair colour is wrong to be an uzumaki from what we have seen. on the other hand, kabuto's hair colour is perfect for an uzumaki.

i am so fed up of social networks today. all the places i would like to see activity, there is no activity and instead there are things happening that just annoy me. i'm getting game stories on facebook when I've specifically told them not to show. for some messed up reason one twitter account that i follow is completely ignoring me. I've gone over everything i've done and tried to figure out what i might have done that might annoy anybody, I'm drawing a blank. I've done nothing and i'm being ignored. why are there people like this? if i've done something without even realising it i think i could at least expect the benefit of the doubt and be told what it is. so I can do something about it? as far as i know i've done nothing and i'm being completely ignored. in my view that makes them wrong and me innocent. i mean, would i fault an elephant for accidentally stepping backwards onto me? of course not, the elephant wouldn't have known it was hurting me. otherwise, why would anyone just ignore somebody? it's not accidentally missing messages. I've waited and i've delicately prodded as a reminder. i've waited a good 12 hours or 24 hours before checking and reminding . but no. no response. they tweeted to other people so it's not as if they aren't checking messages. on another note, the acting prime minister of the uk waved to me the other day. well, there was me and four kids at the fence. nobody else around. kinda cool.

never really paid attention to it before. it's pretty good. I'm sure many people can relate to that, I can.

been watching. now got some thoughts. I am becoming convinced that kabuto is an uzumaki. I am also wondering if tobi is an uzumaki. well aside from those thoughts, I thought of some other things. tobi isn't necessarily an uchiha. let's consider kakashi. if kakashi can have a sharingan, then other non uchiha can also have sharingan. also, tobi clearly has a body that is malleable. in his fight with minato, his arm comes off. i'm pretty sure we see him with an arm later. so this body may not be his original body. sort of like orochimaru. another thing, tobi can enter konoha and bypass the barrier. he is not madara so he is somebody else closely related to konoha. these are my thoughts for the moment.

that was a nice clip. I really want to watch this film. it has a nice feel to it. it's not going to be long now. I've seen an advert on tv.

watching it, loving it yep, all the things you're saying, great. i love how they haven't done a gattai in the first or second episodes. or third or fourth. I like how everything clearly has a motive. it isn't some arbitrary thing where the monster wants to generate screams of humans for some weird power source. while that isn't always awful, there have been many series where the motivations of the characters seems to be pretty much absent. in this, everything actually seems to have a place. not sure what episode i've seen to, but I am sure i have 1 or 2 on my computer yet to view.

when it comes to guyver, machine and biology are not so well defined anyway. after all the guyver itself has been called a biomech. could we use the term automaton? would that be a better descriptor?

ha ha, that sounds brilliant XD you just reminded me of my little brother, every time my mate came round, he;d put on a boxing glove, then my little brother would run head first into his fist.

ha ha, I used to get hyper. nah, I just don't like sweet things in general. most amount of sugar i take is one spoon in my cup of tea. I don't eat a lot of desserts. if I eat a slice of cake and don't balance it with some other savoury food, I get really tired and sluggish afterwards. ...... actually, I used to get very hyper and quite crazy when i was about 10 years younger. if you've read the story i wrote about wade heavenly, that is a slightly exaggerated version of how i used to be. XD
