  1. english language version of this months issue - http://www.mediafire.com/?bu51k1scg7djdx1 knock yourselves out guys.
  2. oh, there is one character i think may be a bit too blurred. it is 然
  3. do you mean the project toku wiki? because i don't want to post this to wikipedia! sorry, couldn't resist well this is usually the kind of thing I do, but if you want to do it, I have no qualms about it. be my guest
  4. that's pretty cool, very entertaining! it's got great movement, I love pixel art.
  5. I don't know, I thought griselda had chopped it. i admit it doesn't show any movement lines, but it seemed too convenient a placement of her hand for it to not be a strike.
  6. now that that's out of the way, I can air my own personal opinion! wow, this chapter is pretty awesome I am amazed at how much Apollon is being presented like Alkanfel. it is so cool. I wonder why he has turned up in this situation though. it's because of guyot perhaps? but his zoacrystal is merely a dummy crystal isn't it? maybe it is because of griselda and guyot in the same area? I'm not happy about natsuki though... that panel looks as though she impacted with the floor. that is not good. not at all good.
  7. it had been suggested recently that if there is a basic version of the chapter available, there is no need to provide a superior version. therefore as the chinese version of this chapter is available, it was not seen as necessary to post the translation for it. a translation exists but it is not being posted to the forum, we'll just announce that it exists. I am trying to illustrate a parallel here, but please be aware I did not come to this decision, I am merely the messenger. I would like to convey that while nobody here is obligated to provide anything for the fan community, some posts on the forum recently were viewed as having a selfish attitude. we each have our own views on this and these views have been aired openly. I personally am not planning on treating my scanlated release any differently. although if fans feel that this kind of reaction is good, then I can keep the current months scanlation private and hand it to people via PM. at this current time I would like to remain as impartial as possible so I will leave it up to majority opinion. p.s. I am aware of how some people may be feeling upset or just fed up with things like this and I am looking at alternative ways to deal with situations like this. please lend me your patience!
  8. great! I've attempted that first page a number of times, I think i had it right but it took me a lot longer than it takes you shall i post the next double page now, or shall i wait until Sunday like i had originally planned? btw, this is really interesting, a wonderful look inside of shou's head as he first became guyver.
  9. this novel is pretty challenging for anybody. durendal, you made us sweat already we need your expertise for this. no rush or anything.
  10. awesome! thanks very much cannibal, getting it now, can't wait
  11. why don't you do that? I think we have a print shop for japan-legend stuff. you could do the same for your designs. it is your original work and is different enough from existing guyver designs to not be restricted by any copyright. (come to think of it, the japan legend shop is not linked from the site anywhere....)
  12. latest chapter of guyver was announced. "tiger at the front gate, Wolf at the back gate"

  13. Heh Heh, I like that part XD Well I type-setted page 69 today, it's on the server for you guys to enjoy, sorry I can't do more than that today, I cut a very dense ivy hedge right back and my wrists and arms are all but completely seized up (it's hard enough to type this post XD)
  14. cheers amika, it's something like this - Tiger(guyot) at the front gate, Wolf(inferno) at the back gate!! Tetsuro & co struggle to their feet in their predicament, but what of natuski?
  15. I would have thought that any guyver fan who has information that the rest of us might be interested in, would provide that information for us. Amika usually provides us information as soon as he gets it, being a very selfless person. he has no interest in one-upmanship or trying to score points. as it happens, Amika has not visited since the 29th of january. I would hate to think that he may be avoiding the site because he was mis-treated or disrespected by a fellow fan. after all we are all supposed to help, support and respect each other. I do hope that Amika does continue to visit the site as he has always provided news and scans for us without fail. Guyver Four, I get this strong feeling that you have some kind of problem. i've asked you to talk to me if you have any issues, I would ask that we all act as adults here, and continue our enjoyment of this manga in the best way that each of us can. if you feel upset about something, let us talk about it and work it out.
  16. now getting started with bakemonogatari. I've been watching blogs on nisemongatari for a while and it has caught my interest so i am getting the first series before watching that one. it looks very interesting, the art style is very unique and the music is nice. also, in the first scene there is a panty shot.
  17. it's still very difficult to truly understand where you are coming from. I'm wondering what prompted you to this idea that energy can indeed be destroyed and used as fuel by other energy. it's a pretty out-there concept from my point of view although your surmise(premise?) of energy being created at the big bang is perfectly logical and a very good supporter of this concept, what it doesn't explain is your motivation for investigating in this conceptual area. I'm wondering if the motivation is due to the old debate of theism vs atheism and the use of science by atheists to 'debunk' theism. could this be part of it? not that it would be any less valid, it would just allow me to understand where you're coming from. anyway, what i was thinking while reading your post was the sine wave. I have been thinking about how scientists propose anti-matter and such things. my thoughts is that matter occupies a positive region of a sine wave graph. anti matter and associated anti-energy (if that is thing) occupy the negative region of the sine wave graph. therefore, when a positive wave encounters an equal negative wave, the two would combine to equal nothing. there is the idea that such a meeting would equal massive amounts of energy though, so how this would play out is still unclear. it was after all just an idea.
  18. well that is good in many ways. it is not a toy commercial like recent series. well, you know the part where the belt is not fully physical and is glowing from his waist, is really cool. also, I have seen a sequence where the third guy is transforming, and looks very interesting. it was just like a zoanoid.
  19. ooh lots of stuff. great stuff durendal. soon we will have the entire book totally converted. lots of typesetting for me this sunday.
  20. front page with improved, interactive logo - http://www.japan-legend.com

  21. I've redesigned the front page a bit. hope you all like it.

  22. yeesh. I only saw part of the first episode of that. interesting intro. agito is good then? I watched the second episode. I find it odd that this is tokusatsu yet the special effects seems minimal. I don't like it so far, I mean the special effects part, but the characters and story is actually intriguing. I think that I could watch this not as a tokusatsu, but as a drama. or perhaps the action and effects improves over time?
  23. so this can be considered an official datafiles. I think many of us were under the impression that this was published by a third party and was 'good' but not 'official'. Well i suppose it is not a huge difference. but it does call some things into question. like if the VDF got the Romanised name for Li Yentsui wrong, does that mean that some of the other Romanised names that we have could be equally in error? I always found the Romanisation of Guyot to be rather awkward. also, there is the romanisation of pulukshterl. which most of us agree is purgstall. well we have not been too fussed about names really have we? only when a name is clearly wrong, like if somebody called caerleon 'carlton'.. . we are generally pretty lax about the whole thing. archanfel, alkanfel, alkampfer, etc. apollon, apollyon, apollo, etc.
  24. so what does this mean? obviously this book wasn't written by takaya-sensei, but who was it published by? takaya-sensei works for kadokawa and guyver is published by kadokawa isn't it. but this was before kadokawa, was this published by tokuma shoten? was this written by a different author working for tokuma?
  25. hmm ok XD I thought the guyver dark hero cave paintings was obvious, so I was thinking about something else from somewhere else that you had adapted to look like the guyver cave paintings from dark hero. so actually I was coming at it from the wrong direction. the guyver cave paintings was the base. and you made it look all cool and special. original design work for the detailing. very nice work. cool and stylish and whatnot.
