it actually reminds me a lot of the branchai brothers. it looks more grotesque than the proper version.

in image editing and stuff... alpha refers to transparency. alpha channel is a 'black and white' channel that is included with red green and blue, that tells the image which parts are transparent. as it is actually in various shades of grey, the transparency has varying degrees.

oh that's wierd! looks like trouble with the alpha channel.

i searched the whole thing and found nothing in google. i did however find this selection of images.

i think it's the shape rather than the colour that has people interested in that image. I would really like to get a look at that. it looks really strange and stylised. very interesting. seems like it could be by a japanese artist. I'll have a quick look on japanese google images.

ah ok, that's fair enough. I was just thinking that with the suggestion that this earth was created for a continuation, it seemed similar to what was suggested in that quote. that there were earlier earths and this is the 3rd one. but i understand why this doesn't fit in because you are not looking for things to philosophise about, you are looking to discuss how it fits with the theory. got it. so would i be right in understanding that perhaps yhwh was a being just like you or me, that had found a way through science to extend his life millenia and further. of course, advanced technology like that, makes sense they could put matter through a dimensional gateway. have you seen an anime called utawarerumono? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utawarerumono this contains similar themes.

guyver zoanoids? I am liking the more recent ones. you got good solidity in the designs. I don't feel that it follows guyver design completely but it's pretty damn faithful. I can't imagine anyone being much more faithful if they weren't takaya sensei himself. I'd definitely like to lose the lined paper though.

wow, I had forgotten about this. I'm glad you're back on it durendal. I wonder, might it be good to convert the VDF into a pdf? it would aid reading and it would reduce the size of the files.

i have a fair few things to remind me. I have two pairs of jeans that i wear regularly, an awesome detective style hat, my favourite yellow t-shirt. I have something special. One day i was walking in Ueno by myself as we had decided to spend the day doing our own thing. I had gone down some streets and was in a mostly residential area. i found a nice quiet shop, that might remind you of the game shenmue. it had all sorts of old japanese stuff, unique things that are pretty old and pretty traditional. there was an old man sitting in there on his own. this was the coolest shop you could imagine. It was very special visit because he could not speak english and i could not speak japanese but we connected as best we could. he told me about some of the things in there. I tried my best to understand and recognised a few words. I picked up one object, it looks like a spindle, I still have no idea what it is. I decided to buy it, but the old man picked up something else. he put both together. then he stated the price for one of them and then said something but i only recognised one word. "kokoro" which i know to mean "heart". and I realised what he meant. it was a gift from the heart. so i bought the one that i wanted and graciously accepted his gift. I would so very like to revisit that shop again someday. perhaps one day when my japanese is good, I can go back and thank him properly.
