I really enjoyed TVN's version. I watched it on broadcast, couldn't get a good signal. missed out on a hell of a lot of stuff. i watched it subbed by harorangers. it just felt awkward.. not sure why. perhaps something about the phrasing? I decided to have a look at TVN's version and see what it is like. it seems that there is no annoying stuff or untranslated attack names etc. well all hte attacks were in english. to be honest, I prefer takenoko's translation. anyhow... I noticed that philippe was writing in russian. well half russian and half japanese. ok, maybe it wasn't russian but it was using cyrillic script. cyrillic is used also by languages similar to russian.

that was pretty fun. I enjoyed them, but i actually figured out how they were done before they were revealed. well kinda. the first one, i expected it was a tight rope across teh water. that was before i saw him walking. i could see that his steps were not in line so I then changed my thought. the second one with the coin. that was pretty fun, I watched how hiw hand was sliding across the table. it was when i saw how he slid his hand i knew that he had to keep his hand against the glass for the trick to work. that's when it seemed obvious that he was wearing a ring and that the coin was magnetised.

I would like it if there was a separate thread for each episode with a youtube video or something. it'd be like each month with guyver. it would be nice if there weas some really lively discussion going on.

I'm afraid i don't really like spitz, it makes me feel sad. "on your mark" was absolutely amazing though. that is really emotional.

after hearing this on the radio for teh nth time today.. I got to thinking. I was thinking about how it is composed and put together. I realised how masterful this is. out of all the tracks that are being released at the moment, many of which are quite brilliant, I realised that this one could be considered as separate from them. the way it is made is quite remarkable, the actual presence of any musical instrument is very scarce. it is mostly a tribal beat and the ladies singing. the video as well includes a dance that is so bizarre and unexpected. the way the ladies move is not what i would expect as 'sexy' or 'womanly', it also seems somewhat tribal. now I haven't actually listened to hte lyrics. i never do. but i think i would like to listen to the lyrics and see how well written they are. I'm not a fan of the k-pop. I love the filipino music though. both those songs were really awesome. singaporean is good too from what i heard.

it's ok toku warrior, he cited dukemon. that's his source. we all know that dukemon get's rumours first, and we generally don't know where dukemon gets that info. I don't know what site dukemon posts this stuff, you'd have to ask dekared. this is my favourite performance by the proclaimers. I love this because they are at their prime and you can really feel the energy. the proclaimers are real good cultural thing, the music is very british, the style is very strong link to folk music. this music is very strong in our culture here. it is not pop music by any means, it is not seen as 'cool' or 'trendy' but everyone feels the vibe through their spirit.

how about some trivia? I am particularly interested in any trivia about the safety dance. I have never heard it before it was posted on here, however, I had heard it being sung. it was sung by turk on 'scrubs'. good suggestion dude. i should have thought of that, but it seems wikipedia doesn't have that information. I managed to extrapolate from the screenshot, the start date etc. i think it is saturday 8 am on tv tokyo but i could be wrong.
