ok, sorry i edited my posts a little, it might not make 100% sense but i was unsure if i should leave them how they were. anyone who has me on facebook would have been aware of something that has effected our family recently. I can't really talk about it and there is nothing on there now that would reveal anything. but no doubt some of you guys will know about it. I just think it'd best if it not be mentioned.
  2. I got ATD, attention to detail. but what is that other one?
  3. no, I didn't say druids were called skinwalkers. i said you might be referring to skinwalkers when you talk about wearing a deerskin and antlers. a skinwalker is a shaman who wears an animal hide to take on the spirit of an animal. these may have been present in early celtic culture, but they are also present in other cultures.

ah that's good. the veil is lifting. this pretty much suggests the same as what I PM'd you about. although, it does suggest that it might not be easy.
  5. I think what you're referring to is skinwalkers. a type of shaman. druidism revered the oak tree so i am not certain that it is part of the culture. you might discover something if you do some research but on the face of it, it's not part of the culture attributed to celts by the romans or by the irish records. there are celtic legends of shapeshifting which would probably be due to the practices of the skinwalkers but those are legends, they would be based on things before records began and hard to confirm. for your costume, celts would have worn materials made from weaving wool. they did make felt caps but that's about the closest you would probably get to wearing animal skins. in the video i posted in the other thread, you will see the tartan pants worn by the celtic warrior. on the table of goods you'll see a type of blouse that they would have worn. they also would have worn a cloak of tartan, think of the cloaks the hobbits wear in lord of the rings.
  6. pah, forget those florida gurls or those california gurls. boys is where it's at! look for yourself! ->

i don't know to be honest. it's not something i can really talk about.

ha ha, well my mum lives here. so I just have to walk into the other room. but anyway, my dsylexia is a different type. I can type in realtime, whatever is in my mind at this moment, I can type it no problem. when I have a large piece of writing to do and I know I need to plan it out and phrase it well, that is when the trouble comes. because I cant hold that amount of data in my mind while typing. Also, I'm pretty particular about my posting. my spelling always has to be right and my punctuation is always considered along with my paragraphs etc. I'm still pretty bad with my capitalisation actually. never got the hang of that. so actually, I just went into the other room and said "help me!". to be honest i don't need much. I dictated to her what i wanted her to write and she typed it. we got about half of it done before she needed to go out. It's always remarkable to me how easy it is to write these things when i have somebody typing for me. it's like the sun coming out from behind the clouds.

i guess things are not that great at the moment apart from some unfortunate happenings on line, there have been some unfortunate turn of events at home too. I've lost friends, been pushed into a corner, find some of my volunteer work to be less rewarding. we get less students and feeling like it is unproductive. my own business plans are not going too well. but that is my own responsiobility. i was gonna do my family tree but found out that i simply can't get the records. my videos just not gettting much attention and i'm wondering if it's actually helpful to anyone. all this things... and i don't feel too bad. it's a rather positive experience to have so much stuff going on and while i can feel a little stressed in some ways... i can actually keep a positive attitude. perhaps my manner is coming across a bit different to how i would like. maybe some of my words are seeming rash or nasty somehow. I'm not sure if i can help that and just hope that people don't feel that i am being nasty. I didn't think i was but then i may have overreacted to some people in a few places. i'm not sure it's hard to tell sometimes. of course, i said i do feel more positive than i would expect to be and so i try and make sure my posts are as positive s i can make them. i guess i'm learning to deal with situations a lot better. when i can say life is good. i think that ereally counts for something.

ok try a different approach. you can start from the garden of the house. from the garden, look away from the house. look for a swimming pool. in the swimming pool are all familiar faces of people you have known and still know. family and friends. enter the pool with them. then look for the steps out of the pool. the bottom one is black. then in order they are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, silver and gold. stepping off the last step onto the grass, look towards a forest at the end of the grass. go to the forest and walk in following a trail. continue walking until you get to a bridge crossing the river. on the other side of the bridge is a figure. a person. you might be able to make out the identity of the person or they may be a shadow. meet that person. embrace them. that person loves you unconditionally. walk for a while and find a clearing in the forest. find a place to sit down and take a seat with your companion. now you can talk. talk about anything you want. when you feel like you are finished, embrace again if you wish, shake hands and say bye for now. go back alone, over the bridge, out of the forest. back down the steps into the pool, gold, silver, violet, blue, green, yellow, orange, red, black and into the pool with your loved ones. then back to the house.

ok, you found a mansion? that's fine. the size of the cottage isn't too important. what is important is that you find that black door with the corridor. the corridor needs to have those coloured panels on them and the golden panel is the library. if you find yourself in a maze, try and backtrack and look for the black door. try to be more trusting in your footsteps. maybe make a recording. when you go upstairs and get lost in that maze, you are getting 'lost in your head'. it's not your head you need to be at. it's your heart. if you know what i mean.
  14. writers block.. you need to feel inspired. a couple things that are important. get some rest. if you're tired it's gonna be hard to get inspired. fatigue drains us of motivation. another thing is influence. inspiration comes from sharing ideas. it's very hard to create something from nothing. so if you're feeling uninspired, watch something you like, or play a game you like or read a book etc. something that sets your mind racing.
  15. yeah it's in the thread i made about history.. something like how our society started. it's in the general section. wolfs head...? yeah, I probably wouldn't go looking for something like that. as far as i'm aware there is no evidence for the wearing of animal pelts in celtic history.
  16. just remember that if you really wanted to get a girl, you could. it would be easy. you could lower your standards at any point and get a girl. that's probably what a lot of your friends do. because their work is not as important to them. you value your work and that is a good thing. just remember that it is your choice. edit: I forgot to finish what i was saying. I very often get the same feeling of jealousy. but i only get jealous when i forget that it is my choice. i often forget that i could easily go to a bar in town and pick up some easy tramp. as a human being i get the same 'romantic feelings' and the feeling of loneliness etc as all the other human beings on the planet and it's easy to forget my own choices at some of those times.
  17. [emote=onion]nofair[/emote]sorry, I'm just not in the mood for any of this right now. we make an effort and it just doesn't seem to make any difference. I really admire Cannibals passion. I used to be that way. 12 years ago when i first started making guyver websites. uhm, thanks for setting that up, it looks good. I think the cronos website is so well put together, i think it would be a shame to effectively bury it in the links section. I realise that is the professional way, but perhaps we can have it in both positions?
  18. yes it was simply to provide some link to cannibals project. it is actually linked from somewhere that is how i found it. can't remember exactly where. I can type some information if you would be so kind as to edit it. or if you wish to type something, that's fine too.

I'm not surprised to be honest. it seems to me, that dream is not ready to reveal it's secrets yet
  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gs0WghAb3Yo i don't see how this is night at the prom? this music gets me fired up! the original music is good but it doesn't really evoke a fighting spirit in me. I don't feel my blood rushing to my head and i don't feel like jumping up off my seat. dragonball kai has made me feel that way! anywy, I doubt very much kai will be 100 episodes long. if it is, then I think there will be a continuation series.
  21. oh ok thanks I'll pick it up if i see it and is a reasonable price. no rush though, I still haven't finished final fantasy XIII.
  22. yeah.. actually, I skipped the fight between goten and trunks at the tenkaichi budokai. some fighting does get a bit too much sometimes and i pretty much knew what it would be. all i needed to do was skip to the end, 2 episodes away. I didn't see how it would be an impressive battle since there wasn't the safety of the planet on the line or anything important.
  23. I heard that tales of vesperia, is like a series of games 'tales of' somthing... and i heard that all games of that series were really good?
  24. Jess♥ replied to a post in a topic in General 'whatever'.
what do you mean? I'm following that thread, I've read all the comments.
  25. that is pretty much what i want too. somebody to share things with. I don't want anyone that takes me away from what i would normally want to do. I see it as a waste of time to spend an evening with somebody watching tv or a movie or whatever, unless that is something i would have done anyway. i have plenty of things i need to do, the person that is right for me, will have similar things in her life and will work together with me on some of my endeavours and when not working together, will not demand my attention.
