  1. well here we go again a chapter of only 9 pages, good is better than nothing, is not whether it is better or worse but I like how will this fight, but is somewhat slow http://www.buenaisla.com/tema/manga-Manga-guyver-septiembre-2015-24264
  2. That's it. I am calling that combined form 'Malak-al-Maut'. (Or would Azraël be better?) Those spherical attacks: that was Clumegnig. But previously they were not invisible, and a lot less potent (of course, that was before he adapted battle form). Hmmm. Is invisibility a specialty of Jabir? Was he primarily responsible for the design of Gastal?
  3. This IS exciting! Agito is still learning to use the Giant armor and I assume that he will have certain abilities that Sho's armor does not, but I would think that they do share some in common. Apprarently Agito can see/sense the apparent invisible attacks against him by using the amplifiers on his body. I have a feeling that this fight alone will take a whole book to finish and I would be ok with that, as long as it's a really good fight.
  4. I love the theater, so pretty much every super hero movie... But let's see... All Marvels Cinematic universe Movies Lord of the Rings Star Wars Prequels All the X-Men movies ( including side stories) All the Spider-man movies The Expendables trilogy Oh god... So many more. But like I said, I am a big fan of the theater. Most movies I won't even wait and go the first weekend ( if not first night)
  5. I've been fine. I might send you a PM later on either here or on Facebook with some stuff. Hi everyone. This week was kinda busy with some stuff that I've been trying to get caught up on. Work was also busy, too. Today, though, I'm just going to try and do some fun stuff and enjoy the F1 race that's on TV tonight. Other than that, I haven't been up to a whole lot. I'll be back later

  7. I've had the idea for a while that feminist may not just want equal rights, but special treatment as well. Don't get me wrong. I'm all for women getting what they deserve. But I've always felt that free the nipples is a silly idea. The idea that both men and women will be looked at sexually is inevitable. If a woman with a nice body is going around with her tits hanging out. Somehow her rights aren't going to be violated by a teenager who pops a boner like most feminist think. The teen or man will exploit these women who go around because looking upon a woman's breasts is just either a natural male attraction or a turn on for the majority. How can these women expect men not to look the other way? I myself have been put to the test by very attractive women when it comes to being attracted to someone and its hard to control your hormones when you're around that person and I don't mean that in the term of keeping your hands to yourself. I'm just saying a movement just based on Free the Nipples is very provoking to those out there and I have no doubts that most men would probably abuse it. Its because both male and female are genders and genders are as mother nature has it.....designed to be attracted to one another and to produce. So where do we draw the line?
  8. Looks like Agito isn't going to win this fight so easily. Exciting!

Another example of a brilliant movie that didn't need a sequel!
  10. Superior Tony isn't that powerful. But... even earlier versions of the armor had Guyver-level attacks. Full metal holocaust, that's what. A full armored division wiped out in seconds. And an even earlier iteration of the armor was still no slouch:

While its not considered the best their are lots of fun moments in the game. My favorite being The Tower Boss fight. My personal favorite game will always be DMC 3.
  12. when anyone asks me what my favourite movie is, I generally default to Alien. It's not because it genuinely is my favourite movie, or the best movie I have ever seen, but it is generally very difficult to make such a monumental decision. "the best". I choose Alien because the way it is shot is very beautiful to me. It is art as far as I am concerned. not the pretentious crap you get from art students, but something beautiful crafted with dedication and attention to balance and aesthetic qualities. It is like a beautiful haunting piece of music, in visual form. The script and the technicalities etc don't really concern me too much. as a result of this view, I really don't have a high opinion of Aliens. Aliens took it in a completely different direction and turned it into an action horror-thriller. For these reasons, I give more credit to Alien 3 and a little bit of credit to Alien 4. But of course, as Prometheus was made by Ridley Scott himself, I feel it is completely on point. The beautiful imagery and pacing and themes are all back just how I remembered. I am less concerned with plot holes or scripts or technicalities, more concerned with how it looks and feels. This move... calling the next one 'Alien'. In some senses I feel this is a problem. It feels to me that Scott is compromising. He is compromising his ideals in order to please studio execs or the fans of a franchise. This suggests he may be pandering and that potentially hurts the thing I loved about the other two films.
  13. sorry mirabilis, I missed your response. just look at cultures in africa and south america etc who do not wear a lot of clothing. both men and women wear barely more than a loin cloth. their culture doesn't have pornography but to be fair, they don't have computers or printed media. personally, I believe it is more a matter of behaviour. if all women walked around without clothes on, then a man seeing a nude woman wouldn't identify that as a display of availability. it would be the woman's behaviour that gives the messages. even being nude, there are certain parts that are not readily visible, but certain postures would reveal different shapes and forms. it is this, that would become provocative, and not the mere sight of bare skin. pornography may still exist, but I believe there may be a different style of presentation. focusing on behaviour rather than presentation. I had an interesting thought just now. it makes me think of the ferengi from star trek. "you force your women to wear clothes?!" this is an interesting concept in the sense that in some society in some parallel universe, the men may force their women to wear clothes to create this sense that bare skin is something to prompt arousal. it creates a sexual perversion of sorts. hmm... maybe it's not a parallel universe.. i Just remembered how some arabian cultures and middle eastern cultures encourage women to wear burka and other things like that. to preserve the woman's mystery. maybe this is the reason why there has been a large amount of sexual crimes in the uk perpetrated by people who came from those cultures. because UK women are not wearing full face veils and the men are overwhelmed.
  14. I like to call payday national disbursement day. I get paid to pay others. Such is the adult existence. While I do not have a boat load of free money to spend on things I think are cool, I am happy and fortunate enough to be able live well and take care of my family. Although it would be cool to be able to afford more nerd stuff... LOL! The struggle is REAL!!

Yesterday was a chill one. Today seems the same. No news is the best news!
  16. I started during the glory days of the now defunct theguyver.net. Well, I'm not really active here much, and I'm still here because Ryuki has me on a leash. I couldn't leave if I wanted too. Kidding aside, it's easier to have a free conversation here because the members are mature enough not to take offense in anything you say.
  17. I've been a big supporter of Assassin's Creed... Played them all until Unity/Rogue were released. Also played some of the side story stuff, and they are still intertwined with the main plot... But I've not played all of them. Assassin's Creed - Flawed, but good game. Very samey in a lot of places, but the visuals were superb and the concept was all new. Has been overshadowed by it's later versions, but still very solid. Assassin's Creed 2 - GREAT game. Improved a lot of things about the first, and had a great protagonist and decent plot. Some of the time jumps were a bit jarring, but the plot was pretty easy to follow. This one continued and went much further into using real life events and throwing a twist on how they "actually" happened. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - Technically an expansion of 2... But was still great. Some new cool features, and continuing the story of Ezio, who I remind you, is pretty freaking awesome. Assassin's Creed Revelations - More Ezio! Slightly older! Still badass! Had actual ties and missions tying to the first Assassin's Creed. The last game I really liked of the series. Assassin's Creed 3 - Poor main character. Too much busy work. Plot was ok was definition, but handled kind of poorly ( bad characters). Really, too ambitious. Only new aspect that stood out, were the boating sections. The "Modern" settings ending was pretty good though. Assassin's Creed Black Flag - Fun, to be sure... But main character just wasn't that likable. Took the boating mechanic and made it better. Pretty solid game, with decent characters... But Edward himself (your character) wasn't that great. The "Modern" setting was changed, and was pretty decent actually. Not as in depth as previous games, but was there and did forward some plot. Assassin's Creed Unity - Beside all the game glitches... The main plot is actually pretty decent... But the main character is a poor man's Ezio. Trying to be all cool and rogueish... but when it's been done better, you can tell. Combat was also drastically changed for the worse. Still haven;t beaten it, as I wasn't too invested in the story, and better games came out. I WILL finish it one day though. My biggest beef, is the lack of "Modern" story plot elements. Assassin's Creed Rogue - Came out the same day as Unity. Dumbest thing ever. I've heard from multiple sources that the gameplay is the same as Blackflag (Yay!) and actually has a better and more original plot than Unity (Yay!) and has more "Modern" story elements similar to have Black flag did it. So, I am actually not looking forward to the new game, Syndicate, all that much. Though the movie they are making with Michael Fassbender has a chance to be decent... I hope.

Yeah, that was mearly a suit made for the promotion of the 2005 TV series. And from what I remember the founder of bioweapons.com, Dave Carpenter telling me once, those suits have a lifespan of about 3-5 years as the materials they use look great and are nice and light... But deteriorate much faster than even a lot of cosplays. So it's probably long gone. To get any full body sized Guyver costume, you'd probably have to pay a good couple thousand to a costume maker, as something of that magnitude would take a long time, and a lot of material. I'll put it this way, back when I was closer friends with Dave, he quoted me about $600 US for a simple Extremis Iron Man Helmet ( and if I wasn't forced to move at the time, I would have done it too). So, A helmet alone with cost probably $600+... On top of that the suit it self would probably 3-4 times that... So you'd be looking at something over $3000. Then the issue is finding someone good enough to build it.

I wouldn't have a clue, I guess it would be a custom job
  21. I think, the fact we always cover up our bodies, is the reason pornography exists. if the naked body were an everyday sight, there would be less exploitation.
