While short and has some needless re-caping this chapter caught me completely off guard  in a good way :yay: .

If this game have ZX-Tole then maybe it have Alkanphel as the main boss? Like Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat. Can Tetsuro win using Alkanphel as his character? :goofy:

I haven't lived until today.

Seriously. I want to see the conversation that led to this.

"Hey, you wanna play a game?"

"Sure, whatever..."

Alkanphel would still win and while still using Gregole.

And we still don't really know the relationship between Archanfel, Imakarum (where the heck is he?) and Apollyon.

Side not: it makes a difference whether his name is Apollon (Apollo) or Apollyon. If it's Apollo, that suggests another step in the logical progression Ouranos / Kronos / Zeus. But if it is Apollyon (Abaddon), the Hebrew angel of the abyss, it means the introduction of a foreign, hostile element - conflict. Deliberately ambiguous?

Twist: Apollyon's mask comes off and the armor drops to the ground in pieces because there's nothing inside: Archanfel has been subconsciously animating it with his telekinesis all this time.

probably ambiguous on purpose, like archanfel.

the hiragana is clearly not saying apollyon because there is a specific japanese way of saying apollyon.  the hiragana reflects the greek apollo (apollon) . however, the ambiguity comes from the kanji that is used. it is the kanji for abyss.

Alcanphel looks about 16, was he always meant to be so young looking?

When he first turned up in his suit back in book 8 I figured he was physically about 21.

I think that's because we have never seen him in normal clothes in a normal house sitting cross-legged.

He's either in a business suit, or his armor in a grand situation. Makes him look larger than life.
