They are indeed! Only thing is you have to purchase the actual printed Tankouban and send proof of purchase to Yuki to get the most up to date ones. Or you can pledge or buy directly from this site.

yes, still ongoing kenji, i know the discussion threads might be alittle hard to find as some don't have the distinct 'chapter' heading in grey in the title, but they're there if you look.

you should be upto date with the translations? the new first chapter for vol32 would still be in the worx by the team .

I've got the monthly chapter scans, yeah, but I haven't gotten the scans for volume 31 yet. Which is kind of a problem, since I've been composing the two-page version for anyone - like me - who likes to see the scans in a closer format to the ones in the books.

the RAW scans for volume 31 were only just released so im guessing you actually mean volume 30??  as the last tankobon done by the Advocacy was vol.29 'Unexpected Guests'..

 

the tankobon scan for volume 30 is in production because i did the script edit from the inital monthly translations for it a little while ago...

 

i assume it has been passed onto BB Dude and is being typeset

 

(please) be patient , it takes a good chunk of time to edit the script and i would imagine even longer to do the laborious task of typesetting

Ok, let me see if this can clarify a few things. Those working on the monthly chapters are totally different from the ones doing the tank scans. Personally, I think redoing the monthly chapters into the tank scans is a waste of time. The only thing that these two have in common is that they are using the same script. I don't think there is a need to prioritize the tank scans since they are basically the monthly chapters. There's no point for me checking for my own translation in the tank scans now, is there?

 

As for the monthly chapters, I think there's only the December chapter left untranslated. Why? Because I'm a lazy person, and it's a pain in the @$$ to translate from chinese. I'll probably get around to working on it when I'm less busy with work. Besides, having it translated doesn't mean the scans will be available. Someone else has to put the dialogue into the actual pages.

It's quite normal to ask questions. It shows concern and that you care. I guess you can say that this is one of those times that everyone has their own issues that needs resolving and it's happening at the same time. It'll normalize sooner or later. Hopefully sooner.

It's only fair for me to update everyone that I have been incredibly busy these past few months and haven't had a chance to work on volume 30. I might be able to get it done around christmas time when I'm less busy, but I suppose if anyone wanted to volunteer to do it before then they would be welcome to. Sorry guys. Can't believe I haven't posted on here since September.

I doubt anybody'll be upset with you bbdude. Bad busy months are within reason and should honestly be expected. Heck, i been running nonstop for a few months myself i can't even remember which volume i ordered last. Besides, you're not the type to simply blow off responsibilities, so if your taking longer than usual, its cause its for a good reason. No worries.

i dont think anyones in a rush for it BB dude, but if you feel it woud help you, you could ask Lost Unit as he may be up for it?  i am right in saying that he does the monthly scans aren't i??  (thats a point we never get a credits page for the monthly's)

I wouldn't give any money to those who are doing the Guyver scanlations. I made this mistake over a year ago, all I received was a few watermarked pages. Not the rest of the scanlated volume, had to download that myself and never received the Japanese volume either.

 

Plenty out there do scanlations for free of other comics and manga to a far higher standard than here. Looks like I'll be waiting, perhaps indefinitely for the rest of Guyver to be officially translated. At least I won't be ripped off like on here again.

yes plenty of people disrespect the manga ka's and give you great hd eye orgasming hd quality scans for free and don't think twice of buying the manga or supporting the franchise... good luck to them!

I am unsure what this is about. Since I have joined the forum, I have been greeted and welcomed and when I sent proof of my purchase of volume 31 to Yuki, I got my scanlations within a few days. I couldn't be happier and thank all who are a part of this for their continued efforts. Especially since no one is required to pay to be a part of this. Just my take on it.

from what i understand, from doing a bit more reading, it seem the japanese volumes are at the person's house, she just has a lot of troubles trying to send them out?

also, people have said they get the scanlations by pm or email?

I thought this might be a scam but I don't think that now.

 

has anyone else not received the scans? or is it a case of a problem with the email account?

I might consider going through with this myself. haven't read guyver in ages.

as long as I will eventually get my japanese copy. I will get that, right?

some things have been going on in my life, but something new came to light today which means I can make some progress sending books out that have not yet been sent. I hope this means I can send them all and start on the next batch but I need to analyse the current situation. today has been a bit messed up. but anyhow, I am still on the case and this is all very important to me. I just need to approach it as best as I can with my current situation.

I really hope this means I have the capability to send them all out within the next week but if not then I will get most of them sent. I don't want to jump the gun and let anyone down, that's all.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I take back what I said in my previous post. Having received my digital scanlation of volume 30 I'm very impressed with the quality of it. Will be ordering more volumes in future.
