Salkafar Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 This movie. It rocks. It makes the first one look like "Challenge of the Gobots". Look for... the balls. Quote
RazorLaser Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 You mean 'Megan Fox 2', not Revenge of the fallen Quote
durendal Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Ooh! Watched it on opening night eh? I think I'll wait til next weekend to watch. I want to avoid the long lines. Unless some friends decides to invite me this weekend. Quote
Salkafar Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 You mean 'Megan Fox 2', not Revenge of the fallen No, I mean Revenge of the Fallen, not Megan Fox 2. And you are Wheelie, good sir. Quote
Bobby Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 I got toys of three characters who appear in the movie. Skids & Mudflap the twins and Rampage. Quote
xtro guyver Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Movie was awsome sure it had a few flaws, but what film doesn't main thing is it was fun, funny and kick ass though I have to admit I was not expecting the twist with Prime Quote
Bobby Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 I'm gonna see it on Tuesday. I'm watching classic season one episodes right now. I'm watching the one where we first meet Skyfire and before the construction of the first three Dinobots. Quote
LordSpleach Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 (edited) Anyone reminded of Species when the pretender girl transforms? Also THEY HAVE TO do Unicorn now for the third film since they introduced the Matrix of Leadership. I also nearly cried when Prime got killed. Did not see that coming! Edited June 28, 2009 by LordSpleach Quote
Bobby Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Or how about the Aerialbots, Protectobots, Dinobots, Stunticons, Combaticons & Predacons??? Quote
Bobby Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 My plans to see it tomorrow just got scrapped like a defeated Decepticon. My friend's grandfather is not feeling well so we'll be meeting up at Target instead. I'm not gonna ask my dad because we're not on good terms right now. Quote
durendal Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 (edited) I just saw it last night and it was a long movie and didn\'t drag on, which I liked. My only gripe is that they didn\'t quite take advantage of the naming conventions. Like when they revived Megatron, they should have given him a new design and renamed him Galvatron. Also goes the same for Optimus Prime, they should have given him some new name like Jetfire Optimus Prime, I kinda felt like they used some elements of the old Transformers the Movie. The twins are hilarious. edit: damn spoiler tags. Don\'t know either to spell as Spoiler or Spoilers. Edited July 2, 2009 by durendal Quote
LordSpleach Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 If they did rename Megatron into Galvatron, they will do that in the third movie when Unicron shows up. Personally, I think that how they will explain why The Fallen went against the other Primes. Quote
RazorLaser Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Awful movie. Sure, the fight scenes, CGI and all is awesome... but so much pointless stuff. The Twins were awful, hating every second they shared on screen. Sam's mum stfu please... pointless... hash brownies... I'll do anything for an A professor. Blah! Sector 7 guy's G-string did not belong and was not needed. Jetfire farting, having a walking stick?... Blah! They wasted so much time with pointless and unfunny comic relief characters that they didn't even have time to introduce all the new transformers... They were just like "hey... RAWR"... no names or anything. Sam going to Autobot heaven... wtf? Not needed. The Fallen was such a weak character. But enough of the negatives... Optimus is king! Beating down some good old Decepticons, then unfortunately getting stabbed... Awesome fight scene... Also does anyone else agree with me when I saw Optimus Prime was slightly attractive in this movie? The close up of his face made me jizz... Quote
durendal Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I liked the souped up Prime in the last part of the movie. Too bad it was only temporary. But I have to agree with you about the introduction of new autobots and decepticons. The only new ones I ever heard was Sideswipe and Arcee. They even have the constructicons but didn't even bother naming it. But then, how will you explain devastators appearance in the first movie. Prime kicked ass, 3 against 1. Quote
RazorLaser Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Souped up Prime reminded me of Optimal Optimus from Beast Wars. Quote
*Jess♥ Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 went to watch it with my mum last night. we both really enjoyed it. I felt it really dragged towards the end, there was no need for so much desert fighting... but other than that it was good. if they cut all that crap out it would been much better. I really appreciated all the comedy bits. i thik you can only take that negatively if you already decided to hate the film? maybe not but i liked it. I knew the film had bad ratings so I didn't expect a lot. so i ended up liking it. there was too much of that where you can't make out what was going on... i think they could have done with pulling the camera back and slowing down some of those bits. they did improve the silhouettes of the robots in this, the first film, you couldn't tell what shape they were but they seemed to improve for this one. megatron was MUCH better. and that fight in the forest was brilliant! I was really impressed by that, I could see where each one was and could see what they were doing. also, there was one part where bumblebee transformed and it actually looked good. most of the time they transform and it looks crap because theres too much stuff moving and it is hard to follow, but that one time, bumblebee transformed and you could pretty much see where each parts was going. ravage was awesome. actually, It's kinda strange.. the movie 'felt' like transformers. I don't know why, but it had the right atmosphere . Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 It sounds like a fun movie; maybe I'll suggest to the family that we go on the weekend. Quote
BlackEpyon Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 I actually prefer watch Revenge of the Fallen rather than the first movie. The first movie was really slow and this one is more fast paced with allot more action. Quote
Bobby Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Saw it yesterday with my friend Sarah. Most likely gonna see it again but with my friend Bethany who really wants to see it. Quote
*BananaKing Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 My brother and I were pretty disappointed with the movie. The only thing I liked (besides the obvious, Megan Fox's smoking hot body) was john Toturno! I loved that he came back in this picture and the whole thing he did against devestator with the railgun was awesome. Apart from that, the movie was just another one of Michael Bay's failures. But seriously, they couldn't come up with a better name for the bad guy than just, "The Fallen"?! I mean "the fallen" is just a title that is put after a name to emphasis it, to just be called the fallen is a bit lame, IMO Quote
LordSpleach Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 The Fallen is a character that came from the Transformers comics. I don't know which particular one though. Quote
*Kenji Murakami Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 The Fallen is one of the Thirteen Firstforged; his fellows unnamed him when he tried to help Unicron destroy them. You know, this guy: Quote
