Salkafar Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 I just hope they'll have Supremor in it... Quote
jerrygoodman Posted December 4, 2018 Posted December 4, 2018 Awesome trailer, definitely looking forward to this movie. Now if they can just give us the Avengers 4 trailer already... Quote
Salkafar Posted December 4, 2018 Posted December 4, 2018 Hehehehe. Fury, green as he is in this movie, is already not buying this whole "Noble warrior heroes versus evil Skrulls" bs. Quote

Matt Bellamy Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 Still looks very "meh" to me. I don't know if it is Brie Larson herself, or just the way she is playing the character... but she seems so bland and/or bored. She seems to lack that kind of personality to is required to drive a movie. Especially a Marvel film. Black Widow in Iron Man 2 was kind of like this, but was only a side character and thankfully got fleshed out more in Avengers and Winter Soldier. So now, she is a much better character and deserving of a movie of her own. So I am hoping that will change when I see it, cause I will still see it opening weekend. Quote
Salkafar Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 In the comics, Kree are not supposed to show emotion. Naturally, they are belligerent savages, but their culture harnesses this in enforced rationality. Like Klingons living like Vulcans. Especially in their early appearances, they viewed human emotions as the detrimental signs of an inferior species. Captain Mar-Vell even said "Our children never smile". So maybe that's why, and as Carol rediscovers her humanity, she will show more and more emotion. Quote

I would have hoped they would learned their lesson from The Inhumans fiasco's. Some comic traits don't transfer well to film... Things can be edited in the lore to make them more fitting for the medium. Fans might care for it, but the general audiences will likely feel like it is just bad acting. Quote
Salkafar Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 (edited) Wow. This really died down. The movie made over a billion two. It's amazing to me. And even suspicious. Edited June 10, 2019 by Salkafar Quote
Tora Tan Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 (edited) Captain Marvel was too 'woke'. I'm a girl and I hated it. I hate all this crap that Disney are doing lately. To be honest I hated Brie Larson. If she wasn't in the movie, it probably would have been not too bad. Edited June 10, 2019 by Tora Tan adding emphasis Quote
Larz Zahn Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 i liked the story of the movie, i didnt even have too much of a problem with how brie larson was acting. the only thing i have to say about that is, acting ****y is fine for me, but she seemed to have too many one liners in the middle of a fight for my taste. the Ms Marvel i remember was definitely ****y, and she had some zingers too. but in the middle of a fight, all i remember is her screaming and charging in. physically now... feel free to roast me on this, i dont mind. i always saw ms marvel as a blond WonderWoman. Tall, broad shoulders, statuesque. Brie Larson didnt have those qualities, so it was difficult to accept for me. Similar to when they cast Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and not some short ugly dude. power level wise.... yeah... it kinda feels like they made her binary powers the norm for her. at least in this movie she learns how to use them, and even went super saiyan at the end. (the binary comment i guess was meant for endgame). Quote
