H222G981 Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 (edited) I hope I'm not the only one. But does anyone still watch movies and tv shows on their dvd player? Anyone still collecting the old medium? Edited January 14, 2017 by Rye Quote
lost unit Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 i dont use mine anymore since always streaming but if i need to rip a brilliant film it comes off my original dvd and covers of dvd were cool. I didn't think the blue ray took off very well with back catalog films. Quote
Matt Bellamy Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Considering the collection of DVDs I have amassed, yes, yes I do still use them. I am buying physical things less nowadays, but when I do buy movies/anime, I try to go Blue ray now... But I bought so much during the high times that replacing it all is impossible. 1 Quote
LordSpleach Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 I still use the DVDs I have but I do have to eventually upgrade to Blu-ray. Quote
*guyverfan Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 i still use mine, although i've found that any new action/scifi or anything with great special effects that i'd like to own, i buy in bluray. Quote
Guyver1 Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 I still do as well. I have all of the Guyver stuff on dvd. And the Big Lebowski. Don't want to forget about that! Lol Quote
Sully Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 I've a decent DVD collection but now rarely add to it. Only tend to when it's something on the level of new Guyver stuff. Quote
Tora Tan Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 I bought some DVD's recently but realised it was a waste of time and money. now they are just taking up shelf space as I watch any thing I want to on my pc at a far superior quality to any DVD. Quote
