I am again shocked that I have been posting these movie topics typically before anyone else. Oh well I saw this movie and if you haven't go see it soon. The movie is a big special effects movie, however this is done in a pretty classy way. There are many many jokes made about other movies in Sky Captain this is also done in a classy way. This is not a camp movie, it does however do a tap dancing toward but not past that line.

Ok so next year we are getting a prequel to the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Synopsis: Prequel about teenage Leatherface who escapes from a mental hospital with three other inmates, kidnaps a young nurse and takes her on a road trip from hell. Along the way, they are pursued by an equally deranged lawman out for revenge. Nice to see my favorite slasher back not only in MKX but also with a new movie next year. The Slasher movie era started with him and in these twilight years of the genera he's the only one still kicking around which is rather fitting. I dont expect the movie to be "ground breaking", just want it to be enjoyable. Gonna be a very Texas…

K-9 will make an appearance on the new Doctor Who series, starring David Tennant as the tenth doctor encarnation. Though by appearances the years haven't been that good to it. Oh well, the good/interesting news is that K-9 will soon star in its own comedy sci-fi series which will be a combination of CG animation and live action. Along with a updated look. Now if only we can convince Sony to resurrect their Aibo line and revamp it into the K-9 model

Hmm I see alot has happend. A Hacker decimated the MB and we lost alot of valuable archives on the WG fic. Scientific, political, and cultural. This is a true shame as newbies have lost a great resource to understanding the fic through our observations. And yes even the thing outside the fic that were in the archive. These things cannot be replaced, and now we have to go through building it again. I am very saddened by this. We all put a lot of effort into building this site and some asshole hacker on a whim decides to destroy it, like a cheap gumball.

Tokyopop is poping out another manga a classic from japan called RG Veda, but before you get too excited and pull out your wallets and check books RG veda is slated to come out 1st or early 2nd quarter 2005.

Again another great movie goes Ignored by you guys. Well that is why I am here to remind you. I saw this movie last week and I gotta say it is excellent. This is not a beat em up it is a plot driven machine more espionage goes on than action. Go see it movies do not come out like this every day. This movie is a remake of an earlier movie of the same name. I recommend seeing both.

Has anyone ever watched the remake of Battlestar Galactica? I never miss an episode given the chance (damn 2nd shift job ). The show's production quality and acting are all top notch. The human model Cylons are pretty interesting (downloading your conciousness into a new body after death would be very useful ).
