  1. As we all know, a few decades ago the Japanese had difficulty with spelling in english. Since the VDF was done during that time, they may have learned to correct their spelling over time. I think that in the later volumes, there are much more consistencies in their naming convention. So any new information officially released should be considered the correct spelling. I still find the name Kablarl funny. It sounds so cartoony despite his ominous looks.
  2. The copyright is for Takaya Production and Tokuma Shouten, so they own the rights to the VDF. This was also from the editorial department of Shonen Captain. Well, as I mentioned earlier the publisher was Matsuen Mitsuo, and since all of these information was compiled using existing materials, they only need a person in-charge of gathering all the data. The last name of the Staff indicates that the one in charge is Suzuki Toshihiro. I don't think that this has a single author. Think of this as a special feature magazine, where you have many authors contributing.
  3. Oh, that's clear enough. The copyright was for Takaya Productions. Duh!
  4. Restarting the translation for the VDF. Here are the comments of Mr. Takaya about the BFC. VDF-069 Page 144 MAX FACTORY GARAGE KITS ALL CATALOG The first Guyver and Zoanoid creatures that was created by Takaya Yoshiki... Those heroes whose designs which attracted many fans Those creatures which were completely surpervised under Mr. Takaya, assembled in 3D model!! Hoping to recieve the "prejudiced" comment of Mr. Takaya in his solid merchandise 1/12 Guyver Biofighter Collection Series The Biofighter Collection is the core of the [bioboost Armor Guyver] garage kit series (Known as B.F.C.). Coating all of the parts has all sorts of topic gathered. These perfected proportion were directly supervised by Mr. Takaya. Again, movable gimmick and detacheable parts were the ideal new experiments. No. 1 Bioboost Armor Guyver I Price inlcuding tax 2,060 Yen (List Price 2,000 Yen) Commemorating the the First Kit of the BFC. Item used as the basis for the series, the only one that was developed for more than six months. As a compromise it is a strong figure and I have no complaints about the kit. No. 2 Zoanoid Gregol Price including tax 1,648 Yen (List price 1,600 Yen) It was difficult to mold the shoulder joint. Not only for this Gregol, but the reproduced details of this BFC series is one of the selling points. No. 3 Zoanoid Vamore This is a kit where you can play with the opening function of the beam cannon in the shoulders. My assistant, keeps on opening the pinvise, and can be illuminated with just a simple light bulb. No. 4 Zoanoid Ramotith Price including tax 1,648 yen (list price 1,600 yen) The first small fry Character No. 1. One of my favorites. The face is good, proportion and fur detail is superb. Being a regular character, it would be good to have a lot of color variation. This is a white guy. No. 5 Bioboost Armor Guyver II Price including tax 2,060 yen (list price 2,000 yen) This is the biggest among the three guyvers. It's because his body is that of a foreigner. The original video anime version has Guyver II having a macho charm, this is a good kit even without that. The parts are similar to that of Guyver I. No. 6 Zoanoid Zerberbuth price including tax 2,226 yen (list price 2,200 yen) Not only does the shoulder have a joint, the upper arm can only be articulated independently, to be played differently. The shoulder armor springs alive like an crusty insect which is good. What is regretful is the small size. No. 7 Hyper Zoanoid Zx-tole price including tax 2,472 yen (list price 2,400 yen) A ZX-tole kit version that is even popular with the author. Just look at the greatness of the proportion! In addition to the mobility of the Zerberbuth it can also achieve different pose. If only the beam cannon can open and close it would be perfect.... perhaps it's impossible Page 145 No. 8 Hyper Zoanoid Dazerb price including tax 2,369 yen (list price 2,300 yen) The proportion is perfect. The problem is how you make it stand. You have to put something heavy on the feet. The eye coating has a sensation of being a small resin, covering it up would make it more handsome. No. 9 Hyper Zoanoid Gaster price including tax 2,472 yen (list price 2,400 yen) There is illuminous material in the living missle on the nozzle of the shoulder. Since it lights you can leave it in the dark and it lights up. The crest of the missle and head part are made plastic in parts with splendid difficult. No. 10 Hyper Zoanoid Thancrus price including tax 2,369 yen (list price 2,300 yen) Continuing on the missle of Gaster, both hands of this guy is luminous. Namely the high frequency blade luights up. Additionally, if you use the unecessary portion of the luminous parts, you can make the high frequency sword of the Guyver light up...somehow No. 11 Hyper Zoanoid Elegen price including tax 2,678 yen (list price 2,600 yen) Somehow only the head is the moveable part, the unique half fixed kit in the series. Comparing to the ZX-tole this is quite lonely, and even though you can't pose it the body line has a good feeling of detail. No. 12 Zoanoid Enzyme price including tax 2,884 yen (list price 2,800 yen) The design concept of a zoanoid is basically not a "Creature" or a "freak". However, this guy is different. This is a kit that greatly freakishness of Enzyme. The representation of the fur is cool. No. 13 Battle Member WITH Segawa Mizuki price including tax 2,884 yen (list price 2,800 yen) This is a nice battle member. I'd like at least 10 of these. However, I'd have to get a lot of these. Although there is not much on Mizuki, there are color coding on the parts, as an extra there are eye decals. Of course I was the one who drew it. No. 14 Bioboost Armor Guyver III price including tax 2,472 yen (list price 2,400 yen) The black guy who sold pretty well. As expected of the 3rd guyvers, the parts have a feel of sharpness, and it is splendid. A soft vinyl, the texture is quite regretful. No. 15 Hyper Zoanoid Enzyme II price including tax 3,296 yen (list price 3,200 yen) The dreadful volume put together! The body comprises 4 extended arms on the back... These multiple extended arm parts are troublesome. Since 1 arm has 9 parts. But I am completely satisfied when it was finished. Also, it is articulated. No. 16 Aptom 2 (Fusion version) price including tax 3,708 yen (list price 3,600 yen) Even though there is no aptom 1 (fake Guyver) made how could this be!? The beam cannon opening is similar to that of Vamore. The chest part is similar to Enzyme II, with this recieving those arms how much poseability will this have...? No. 17 ZX-tole (Fully open mode) price including tax 4,326 yen (list price 4,200 yen) A special kit that has the special beam cannon set of Zx-tle the Final, a limited edition version. If you collect this with the normal Zx-tole, you will have all the variation from the movie. No. 18 Protozoalord [Murakami] price including tax 2.884 yen (list price 2,800 yen) Among the series, the most handsome creature, the appearance of Murakami. There is nothing more I can say to this. Aside from the standard right hand, it also has the "cutting wave hand blade (both hands). It's very cool. No. 19 Aptom 4 (Dazerb absorbed ver) price including tax 3,708 yen (list price 3,600 yen) A giant kit that combines Gaster, Dazerb and Elegen/ Is there any other merchandise that is as mid form as this!? Perhaps the lost Number Panadyme and Onuma's grandfather.... but, this is good.
  5. OMG! taking a peek at the Bio-fighter collection, those text under the image of each figures are not general information, but comments from Mr. Takaya himself. In light of the new information, it is now a necessity to translate those as well.
  6. I'll jump ahead to the publisher's information since it's needed. The text is a little blurred, but I can still make out a few characters. This is from Shonen Captain, and the publisher is Matsuen Mitsuo. It is copyrighted by something-something (sorry, the image is illegible) Productions and Tokuma Shoten. Interesting to note that this book is also called Roman Album.
  7. *sigh* And here I thought I'm done with this. I don't usually do things half-assed, but I guess that's what happens when I do things half-assed. Well, since the interview was the priority then and nobody seemed to care much for the pages after, I thought of leaving it as is. If there is a request, then I am obliged to finish it. Just give me some room to restart the momentum.
  8. I can tell you at least it's not dark, moody or slightly depressing. It is filled with mystery but it is not depressing. Well, in my point of view anyway. It also depends on how you define depressing. At least there aren't a lot of character deaths like in Ryuki. Or is there? I wouldn't know since I'm only halfway through the series.
  9. What~? 2 episodes? That's not enough to get you hooked. The main protagonist is the one who looks like a housekeeper doing all sorts of chores and specializes in tending to the backyard garden. I think you'll be able to relate to him like how you relate to Shinji in Ryuki.
  10. Just so that people might be aware that I'm currently working on this. Quite a good series if you asked me and I would recommend anyone starting to appreciate Kamen Rider to not miss this. I've been lazy as of late so I haven't been doing any work on the wiki lately. Another reason why I started this is because I might need help looking for images to go with the character profiles. The way I'm going, this will be a clone of the Japanese wiki, and I would rather that we be different, if not in content, at least in the formatting. It's too early for me to do the music and lyrics section, so I'll hold that off for now. Though the opening theme is quite catchy. "Ready to go, Count Zero. Kamen Rider Agito~" hehehehe.
  11. This is the discussion topic for the wiki article: Masked Rider Agito
  12. Speaking of Ryuki, the main rider in Agito, Tsugami Shouichi, is somewhat similar to that of Shinji in Ryuki. Well in Agito, Shouichi is a carefree amnesiac who is very skilled in house chores. Their demeanor and outlook seems to be quite similar. Both care passionately for their friends, and the only difference is that one is skillful while the other is clumsy. This is speaking of their character only of course. You know, thinking about it now, Yusuke (Kuuga), Shouichi (Agito) and Shinji (Ryuki) have similar personalities.
  13. To get things started, I thought of giving chance to others to translate this. 14. So don't tell me that Naruto is going to be the successor of the Sage of the Six Paths?
  15. I can't decide on what to read next. As I have mentioned previously, I am considering reading the hunger games trilogy. But I chanced upon the Song of Fire and Ice series by George Martin, which also seems to be a good book. This was the source of the HBO special a game of thrones. George Martin also happens to be the writer of one of my favorite stories, the Sandkings. What do you guys think?
  16. So who do you think their next opponent will be? Doesn't seem like Big Mama is gonna be their immediate opponent. Would be interesting if the Thousand Sunny suddenly pops up where Smoker and Tashigi is.
  17. Good observation. Since Kpop derived it's influence from Jpop, they are now starting to penetrate the Japanese Market. You will notice that there are a few Korean artists that performs some of their songs in Japanese. If you are familiar with the artist Boa, she was a korean who rose to fame as the first Korean pop star to break into the Japanese market.
  18. "Mister" from the lovely korean pop group "Kara"
  19. If Tobi is Obito, then he would have made some sort of familiarity remark when Kakashi appeared. No such dialogue I remember. And also, it is highly unlikely that Tobi is Obito, but how are we sure that it isn't the body of Obito. Remember Orochimaru mastered the transfer of his consciousness to other bodies, who is to say that Tobi didn't know the same technique? It could be Izuna who took possession of Obito's body. Besides, wouldn't Izuna be really old, hence the need for a younger body? At this point, we really don't know, and I'm guessing even Mr. Kishimoto doesn't know yet.
  20. Wow, you're harsh. I wish I could also do that, but if I did, then that's a potential expensive labor suit.
  21. Hawkeye I have no comment. But for Black Widow, well, for one thing she has a hot body. That alone I would consider to be super. Besides, she has the skill of a deadly spy that would probably put James Bond to shame.
  22. @Aether, very good script. I think I'd like to use a modified version of that. Well, I don't think this will be a problem for me anymore, since something just came up that I eventually won't have to deal with this. But at least before the upcoming change and before I make the final decision, I'm going to give one final chance. Shape up or ship out. Thanks for the support.
  23. Ah yes, Record of Lodoss War. It's like watching Dungeons and Dragon anime style. It's also one of the best anime that I have ever seen, the story is very interesting with plots and the characters are just lovable. You just gotta love Parn X Deedit.
  24. Obviously when I posted the above, I was quite upset. Yes, similar to you, if I have an under-performing staff, I give them a one on one talk, ask them what seems to be the problem, what is their difficulty in executing the tasks that I give them, and what is a possible solution to their predicament. This method works, most of the time. If it fails, then more desperate measures are required. You see, I classify workers into 4 types. Class A: Has motivation and has skill, Class B: Has motivation but no skill, Class C: Has skill but no motivation and Class D: No skill and no motivation. Each class has their own distinct way of handling. This person, I do not know where to class, because obviously this person does not have the skill, and although has motivation, is placed elsewhere. I have tried mentoring, coaching and even counseling to no avail. I spent countless hours trying to teach the ropes of the industry. I even tried both pampering and "baring my fangs". Apparently both don't work. Previously, I've managed to help improve an employee who was seen as a hopeless cause by every department Manager. In fact, most of the employees I train are now sought after by the different departments. But this time, even I gave up. I don't give up easily. But when you have to repeat every word you said every time and still nothing happens, then it really is useless. Which is why, instead of the endless, repeated and tiring reprimands, it would be much more productive to let this employee pursue other ventures outside the company. Which brings me to my question. How do I let an employee go? I have never fired anyone before which makes this hard for me.
