I started editing this when you all began... I cant remember how far I got or where the file is... hmm, i'll try to remember to look for it soon... BUT anyway just looked through the topic and my edit so far is on page 3!! (post # 43) if I get time i'll continue it.

well I do look forward to the end of the series because I just want to know where the heck Takaya is going now , as to me he veered off from what people may have expected it to go about 8 books ago....and simply because its taking so friggin long to get any where at the moment ( cough, more pages per month please, cough, cough)... and mentioning that I think weve got a good 5 - 10 years left anyway, unless Takaya pulls the '...'and sho wpoke up and it was all a dream'' card all of a sudden before anything is resoloved.... my guess is that if / when the series finisahes we will hopefully be blessed with more OVA's or another TV series to complete or continue the story.... even something like the Rebuilds of Evangelion would be cool to tell a concise version of the story in a few films...I think something like this will bee more likely to happen after the manga is finished because I get the feeling that Takaya was very much involved with the TV series and that is why we haven't got any more ( apart from maybe Japanese anime politics) because hes to busy drawing and doesn't want to commit to working on anything else at the same time, so when he has finished the manga he may commit to something like that. whatever happens fingers crossed that he and we get to finish the story. as for what we all do after that like Yuki said who knows ?... as Bob Marley said - only time will tell

surely only on biologically could the two be interfacing for aptom to be siphoning energy from Sho efficiently enough to power a technique like that ? if they aren't combined and aptom isnt using shos biology in a process to take that energy then wtf? unless Aptom was using sho as his own '' boost dimension'' for himself somehow?... but even then seeing as he is external to sho - as in he is wrapped around him rather than combined with him, surely the only thing he could absorb would be either ki or heat ? and I don't think takaya works with ki in the guyver universe. 3 obvious scenarios then... 1. Sho and Aptom are still existing separately , aptom wrapped around G1 2. Sho and Aptom are a new combined biological entity thus allowing Aptom acess to sho's power 3. Sho and Aptom are still existing separately but joined cellularly in certain areas if necessary about aptom being rejected by the guyvers biology against invasion I think Lord Uziel maybe correct in his post above, saying ... and if that is the case then we can rule out Aptom ever all of a sudden reverting back to old aptom and exacting revenge on sho , because he could do that the instance sho let him into the guyvers biology in this scenario. in short I dont know and im rambling oh also to touch on what Sully said... I don't think it could work the opposite way i.e guyver using Aptoms power as I reckon the boost creature would just either go berserk or try to make a new entity from them both or devour Aptom (or at least try - which brings up the age old question - who would win between aptom and the guyver organism??)

yeah with the name used, semantically, you are correct... but I was looking at the purpose for which they wore the ''armour''... ie when they wore the unit G they were not going to war kind of raises the question would the type of race that goes to the effort of creating whole races as weapons even bother to fight with their own hands? or are they just puppet master kings moving their home made pawns? or would they get their hands dirty and just needed the weapons to make up numbers on the battlefield? (if this has already been answered then I cant remember right now!! )

I cant remember and haven't looked to check but from what I remember the unit G was the creators 'space' suit or probably more accurate to say 'environment' suit so it could be that they did have battle armour that was different to the guyver suit ...afterall they didn't get as much of a hardcore warrior upgrade like humans do wearing the Guyver units so its possible they had different armour for battle...

finally caught up ( I must say though not much has really progressed in 4- 5 months) and can see why people are saying its Imakurum..... at this point I think the WHYs??????? about Apollons actions far out weigh the who?? the reasons behind his actions are going to be much more of a revelation than his true identity (especially as all the clues point to Murakami) and I think that is why Takaya may have given us obvious clues to his identity because if it is Imakurum then ist still doesn't explain WHY?? forget who's doing what and start wondering WHY???? wheres this all come from?? and wheres it going??

I do have OOO lined up, I think I almost satrted with that before, but I decided to start on an earlier series, so I might do thanks.... yeah 2 votes for 555... I think if I don't start on 555 I may take Odins advice and try OOO... that way I will be alternating between older and newer hesei rider series which keep things fresh, I liked the contrast from Blade to W and then to Ryuki as they are completely different, it might be if I watch 555 now I might feel like it feels too much like ryuki in term of its look, effects etc..? thanks for the suggestions oh and on KR Ryuki...

hows that compare to the BFC's? I cant remember off the top of my head, and how much is that in £ /$ ??

ha, ive watched nowhere near as much KR as Sentai... now I've finished Ryuki , Blade and W I don't know wether to go early or late hesei.... after watching maskman, i even went so far as to get the showa era KR black just incase I fancied watching it, but im not in the mood for that yet...

I hate pre order stuff, it just creates far too much anticipation .. .like im collecting Dragonball z figuarts and regular Goku was up 6 months before its release - coincidentally slated for april 2014 - apart from an indication on sales from the company I think its stupid anyway what i'd like to know is the price that this new guyver will be ?... have we had any word on that???

well, i just finished watching the last 3 episodes of Kamen Rider Ryuki.... this post is nothing but a spoiler so please dont read if you havent watched Ryuki end first i'll say that i liked it. just the way that (nearly) all the threads were tied up nicely made it a worth while watch. ive heard others say that the ending was disapointing...i wouldnt say that, though of course i wanted Shinji to be alive and be the overall hero, however the way things worked out was really the only feasable thing to happen for everyone to get what they wanted... shinji after ages agonising over it finally ended up with no more fighting and to not have to kill his friends (after what was an epic heroic death!!) ren to save eri yui not to be saved so as not to sacrifice her friends lives Kanzaki didnt save yui's life but ultimately respected her wish... I cant mention all the other badass rider endings but they were cool or should I say apt. i liked all of that and even liked the weird 'were in mirror world lets chill with our younger selves' etc by yui and kanzaki, and how they did draw the pictures of people being happy in that world rather than monsters... but it did leave a somewhat what the F? moment... the thread that wasnt tied for me was the working of mirror world itself, like how Kanzaki manipulated it and how he can rewind time and make parallel universes ( ''should we repeat it from the beginning?'' - ''i will do it to grant you life..'' ), and the real deal with the monsters manifestation etc... but i suppose it wasnt really necessary and it is supposedly a kids show afterall, just suspend belief and enjoy!! that was the only thing that i felt a very little let down by, but its a minor discrepancy as overall i thoroughly enjoyed the whole series and the finale , great characters ( the way all the riders had their own stories, some substance and their own motivations) , great story , great music, great action, great drama and a sprinkle of comedy. excellent. i am intrigued by the movie now as with the whole parallel universe thing i suppose it means any outcome is feasable within the Ryuki world, but whatever... i enjoyed the TV series, so its all good hmmm, now which KR series do I watch next?????????/

well I would agree a change in form would be welcome for the XD XXL , but I wouldn't like to see it diverge too much from the original or Gigantic /XD design, its just too cool!!

maybe the yellow/ mustard /gold colour had some something to do with the relic ship material Sho used to construct the Gigantic?.... also I reckon the Exceed is red because its working at full capacity- imagine the strain on something inputting so much power into a system and it not just exploding!!! I say full capacity... but I still think Sho is going to grow the unit even more someday i.e expand the XD to fight the Ark someday - now that would be BIG!

Nice one. thanks Lordspleach please do not watch Goseiger , I say this as one caring human being to another - it is drenn. don't waste your time . I watched the first arc within the series and quite frankly it it was terrible, boring and really craply acted,. just the way they pose is even lack luster... bah, anyway do what you like, but there are plenty other sentai that you could spend your time watching!

been real ill of late and not had much energy for reading subs... still not finished watching Kamen Riider Ryuki and approaching the end (on ep 43) ...just wondering how the movie fits in with this?.... does it come before the end? after the end? or is the end? I wanted to ask because I know some series do incorporate them into the storyline Kamen Rider W being one... so I didn't want to mess up the watching order or anything...

i think that this is just more of a sensory ability Aptom has gained to gague an opponents inner strength / fighting ability ... kind of useful for combat or if he's considering absorbing them... i dont get why he would say this in vol.29 if he didnt have the ability to do so ..here... panel 4 http://www.japan-legend.com/guyver_advocacy/29_-_chapters_for_next_volume/1207/12 saying he has only encounterd 'one Zoalord more powerful' indicates he has read more than just Archanfel

well after Aptom encountered Apollon, he says that he had only sensed a greater power in a Zoalord once - and that would be Alkanphel, so hes deffinately up there with the most powerful.

i just didnt know if people knew the old one exsisted, what with a new topic being made, so i thought id point them in the right direction.... perhaps just put the link to it in the first post like Ryuki suggested? i dunno

haha... well as my wallet is right now this minute i would say £5!but i cant imagine that would be enough!!i could stretch to 7.50 but thats just a bit less insulting. if i was in a better position... well at least £10!.... you see... i dont know the value of it on the collectors market and its not an item ive thought of getting in the past, so my value of it isnt that high, if you understand me? ( like i wanted the special vol.21 and 12'' guyver for ages so i was willing to pay a bit more when i got it). sorry im not to sure!...

its a shame we've never got any poseable zoanoids to set up some cool guyver fight scenes with the bfc max's... a gregole with snapped elbows accessory arms would be awesome!! etc. etc. anyone interested or mods wanna merge threads their is actually an old Guyver collections thread back on p6 of the threads right here http://www.japan-legend.com/forum/index.php/topic/1417-guyver-collections/

im interested in the shonen captain vol 1, but at the moment im not sue i could give a fair offer.. the gashapons are always a curious thing as they are good but they wont fit with my collection... the prices they are up for on ebay nowadays are quite high so that might be the way to go if you need some cash.
