1. It looks like the Styrofoam is shaped like a tech suit, with cross hairs for the cg artists to match up to when they replace it with the proper visual. I mean, why else would he not be wearing a skin suit with capture balls?
2. The purpose of religions change over time, just as what is being said changes. The concept always evolve. For instance, in the Aryan steppes, the chief would sacrifice a cow of his, sharing it with his community to demonstrate his wealth. This brought HIM closer to the gods, but no one else. Perhaps the religion was used at this point to make the wealthy share. Then, chariots were introduced to the region, and people started going on violent raids. It was adrenaline pumping action, and they vindicated this by pointing out that even the creator god had to be freed through a violent act by Indra. Religion changed to justify the thrill of violently stealing. Many people were appalled by the violence, but they could not stand up to the might of the charioteers. So then, Zororastor comes along (I'm referencing a Karen Armstrong book), and decides the Lord Mazda will come down to wipe out all the wicked people and gods, to restore peace. and that everyone has a part to play to free Mazda, and that only the pure heart fight for Mazda. Yes, an apocalypse story that invokes morality, but the first we know of. Zoroaster realized he wouldn't live long enough to see this upheaval, but predicted a special man would be born to lead lord Mazda's troops. Though he wasn't called Jesus at the time
3. Several people have pointed out that religious people have a tendency to gloss over mistakes easier. I suppose this is why such things and contradictions within the bible, and with it to reality are ignored. Perhaps this is why excuses are made so easily, as precise accuracy is not important. Those that claim literal translation and accuracy, can fudge and skew reality to make things fit. Oh well. At least they didn't pass that law in South America about executing homosexuals. The protesting worked; now it's only life imprisonment. Our religions are SO definitive.
4. I believe this video explains it way better than what I could. That, and your video can get a bit confusing in the way you are explaining. Also, everything you ever release in your name is on your resume for video games. This is what your reputation will be.
5. MSG naturally occurs in certain foods, such as soy sauce. It does not have to be added to it
6. Alberta. Though that's a province, not a country.
7. I think the problem here is the way in which we have commercialized the food industry. I'm not saying commercializing it is bad, I'm saying that they way in which we have done it is bad. Value added to the Nth degree. How long does an apple last before it goes brown? Can you extend that life with wax, pesticides, or preservatives? Just a penny for a light mist over the apple, and you might make it last another week on the store shelf. Value added. A few years ago in Alberta, a farmer was sued. It wasn't the customer, or the supermarket; but rather the competition. You see, this farmer planted his crop and everything, but then it was tested, and found that one of the GMO companies had the patent on some of the grain in his field. He had never bought any GMO wheat, and so he had no right to use it. He had to pay out big time. The problem is that he NEVER planted a single GMO crop. Birds and the bees... and by that I mean the wind blew seeds in from one of his neighbors, and well, pollination and such happens. We've turned mother nature into a product, perhaps a little too much. The 'value added', the excuse for jacking the price up and employing more people and such, is now in overdrive and is now devaluing the product. Whatever. Thanks for letting me practice the words
8. While I was China, KFC and Pizza hut were everywhere, and side by side in most situations. They were different than here though. Pizza Hut was more high end, and the KFC there was what KFC was here 20 years ago. Now, the KFC recipe here give me a burning sensation in my throat a few hours after eating it. And they've tried to be more of a personalized menu item, which is more expensive. I can totally agree with you on the vegetable Durendal. At the regular supermarket, any vegetable you eat either needs loads of salt or salad dressing to not make eating it a chore. I can actually taste something coming from the weird food in the Chinese supermarket. Granted, it's weird for me culturally, and my inlaws cook it to death anyway, but the vegetable itself has flavor. Even my sister in law compared an apple in the UK to one here. A UK apple may be a little brown, but is incredibly tasty. Here, it is a little bitter/sour, if that. The tomato is mostly water, but it looks great in the McDonalds commercial when they cut it open and you have the zesty mist of water pop out. What's also fun is that commercialism is supposed to allow the consumer to make the choice about what they want to buy... and yet we have no idea what foods are natural or genetically modified. There is no label for that in this market, even though some countries over seas REQUIRE it, if not ban GMO's. I remember pulling into Wendy's, and they had a sign saying that all tomatoes were 'recalled' for an unknown reason. Perhaps another case of anaphalactic shock. I wonder if we'll ever get a control in place for monosodiumglutamite. I mean, apparently the FDA and CFIA approved it because it can help elderly people maintain body weight (because it makes you want to eat more), but aside from the foods that it naturally appears in, do we really need to add it to regular peoples food too when there is no medical reason to do so? And can we please come up with a SINGLE name for it on packaging instead of any of the 20 different? How else can I tell what I'm actually eating? Why do we have to all but 'trick' the consumer? Sorry about the rant
9. Oh yes, I completely agree with you. But the lay person just thinks Israel and throws in support due to the bible I think. That is why we don't protest. Israel must be the winner in order to support god. Automatic morality without having to think things through. But yes, I agree with you on what is really going on. However, if we don't challenge what most people are thinking even though they don't say it, then they will continue to make excuses and deny truth. Greed and oil is truth, but god is the emotional connection that lets us get away with it. And oil here isn't cheap. The big companies are reaping profits, but I'm paying through the nose for gas, and now food. This violence is not really improving my life. Instead, I've got to listen to stupid things as 'wind power' kills massive amounts of birds as reasons why we don't get off our oil addiction
10. And yet our countries support Israel in doing this because we like to support the bible, and they have a strong connection to it. So stupid. We shield Israel. What do you let YOUR politicians do?
11. In Indianapolis: -2 W Washington St 317-423-2366 -4557 Lafayette Rd 317-297-1049 -3540 W 86th St 317-334-0620 In Canada, the Fido store I was at was telling me they needed my phone unlocked before they could serve me. So if Tmobile doesn't work, they may be a good alternative. Don't know about the data on them though. You seem to be going pretty intensive on this. You must be in the states for a while then
12. Just got back from seeing it, and daaaaamn. Nice. A lot of twists and turns, and definitely dealing with going after terrorists, going so far as to make a 911 dedication in the end. And so many characters from the original time line coming in on the story, even Carol. I like all the emotional moments in the story, when characters test each other, and question right and wrong. Very well done. I like Abrams novel style of film making. He shows you enough so that you know what is going to happen for a special effect, but cuts away at the last moment so that you can imagine the pinnacle moment. He lets you use your minds eye, so that your imagination makes it even bigger, using the effects department to build it up. Very classy. Don't get me wrong, still effects laden, but done in a way that most people wouldn't. Most effects artists try to show everything, going point for point as if we are children that need every second explained to us. Abrams maintains an excellent balance, perhaps one that is perfected with experience. Let's hope he can maintain it. And yes, there is lens flare. I think I noticed him using it as actors use blinking. It is almost always at the beginning of a shot or scene, like punctuation. Interesting
13. I just burst out laughing at 'grandpa Chewbaca's', um, Matrix experience. I mean, they ACTUALLY put that on television?! Seriously? It's like the whole cast and crew were high to come up with that. Masturbating to porn is not what I call Holiday special entertainment. I havn't laughed that hard in a long time. I wonder what the broadcasters were thinking?
14. Hopefully it's better than the music in this Starwars special:
15. You guys sound like you havn't heard... this is just weird. I'm trying to convince my wife to let us apply:
16. If you do swing by here, just give advance notice so the schedule can permit (random internet checks and such). Just in case, when I wanted my cell unlocked for the sim card, the people at Fido were able to help me find a store that would unlock it for me. The main phone companies didn't want to do it themselves. The charge was only $25. But you said you won't have that issue. Just in case.
17. what are your connecting flights? Any stops in YVR (Vancouver?) Sorry, just read this now
18. More details https://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=cii8mAbiKJE&feature=endscreen
19. Possible Spoiler junk So in the last ep of the season 3 premiere, Op returned. Did he seem a little quiet to anyone? He almost sounded half dead to me. Granted, coming back from the brink of death must be traumatic. It would kind of be cool of Op were part Zombie, only extending his life until Smokescreen is ready for the mantle. Any thoughts?
20.
It's nice to have real world warp drive in our life time

Current maximum warp is calculated to be TEN TIMES the speed of light

21. I've put this off of for a little while. It kinda seems like you are coming more inline with the mainstream theory by developing your own. Round about, but oh well. Though we do have math that describes the flowing of water quite well, and we may be able to apply that to mass, and gravitational pull. I am thinking of water that flows out from a tank, and the pressure from the top of the tank, to the water at the bottom. It would depend on how it is modeled. What gets me though is how to determine the 'fissure' points where more 'water' enters the system to act as gravity. It is interesting. Either way, I am disappointed in you. You have an ambition to do video games. You need to remake this video of your, because EVERYTHING you release publicly is your resume. Spice it up, and make it look great. You have no choice. If this is a private video for friends, then it's fine. But you have a public reputation to maintain. You are capable of better, I've seen it. Wow me.
22. I've mentioned a few of these things before, but this guy mentions so much more about how the bible has changed over time, and what it is based on
23. Aptom doesn't have a brain like a human. The boost organism shows motivation. As even a puddle it can find prey, and feed. It may not be a brain that we recognize, but it works
24. I just love this guys reviews: He's so right, and yet so drunk
25. A warning though, episode 6 sucks. The other episodes are fine after that, and halfway through the season they start building again to the season finale, which is like a second movie.
