  1. when they made the miniatures for the transformation sequence, they needed some way to hold the armour pieces in mid air, it would have been very difficult without some structure, so I guess they used those tendrils and it developed from there.
  2. I can appreciate alien and prometheus and movies like that. They gently lead you by the hand and at times let go and push you to your limitsand challenge you, but all flowing like a melody that enriches and emboldens you. The trailer of this comes across as cruel, brutish and trauma enducing. This is the kind of modern shock theatre and clamour for attention that I wholly avoid. I have no interest in a competition to be the most disturbing events, I want a rich story that helps me deal with and process scary concepts. A horror movie should leave me with an uneasy feeling, not PTSD.
  3. That's disappointing. There are so many red flags in that new trailer.
  4. If they don't have proof it was delivered to you, you should be able to get a refund?
  5. wow!! That looks so cool!! 🥶
  6. I saw something that worried me a little. a member had replied to an old topic with useful and relevant information and even a picture that had effectively been requested, yet was chastised for it. I understand that necroposting can be frowned upon in many places, but this forum is not generally active so it concerns me that taking this stance is something that this forum really does not benefit from. if anything, we want to encourage more posting, right?
  7. This looks realy raw on a personal level. Looking forward to it.
  8. I want them to become solid models for sale on the store. I don't have a 3d printer but I like these figurines.
  9. sorry, that promotion has finished. It ran from 26th July til the 8th August.
  10. No, Matt said he won't be posting any scans because this is a new publication that is reasonably easy to buy. The artbook may not say anything about the manga returning, but the manga is currently on sale at 33yen per volume on digital manga stores. you can get it on amazon japan and read via kindle. That adds to the likelihood of the manga resuming.
  11. looking through the topic shows a load of broken photobucket links. I know I don't have any digital copy of this book. I have a physical copy, but photographing or scanning that in is a large job and I'm not sure I have the mental fortitude to do that.
  12. I believe these were split over two pages.
  13. I'm really happy with it. It wasn't that expensive and it is high quality images all compiled in one place. some of these have only been released split between two pages and much smaller.
  14. I think this is new. I don't recall seeing it before.
  15. It's not exactly like they are milking it. There has been some real problems from what we can gather. The action figures are something that collectors are really clamouring for and this is the first publication of guyver we have had in years. I wonder when the VDF was released? was it around the time guyver resumed after moving to kadokawa? I firmly believe this book is a herald of the manga's return.
