  1. Goku is a comic book character. Japanese comic book character... But still.
  2. The only sad part is that I don't think we're going to see much more from this guy in the ways of Guyver. Oh well, one can dream.
  3. I found out the story was reported by a small conservative magazine. They’re not claiming that the story is true. That wasn’t what their piece was about. Their piece claimed that this was uncovered by Hillary Clinton’s team, and they would leak it out later in the year to discredit Obama. They say the sources came from within Clinton’s camp. Of course CNN debunked it as Obama is their poster boy. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not for or against one party, and I actually like Obama, but CNN has been hyping him for months now. I can’t wait until the election gets closer, things are only going to get crazier. Should be fun.
  4. I just hope we get to read that update to the Great War of the Guyvers Fan Fiction here soon. One can hope!
  5. I saw the first two movies on sci fi channel when I was a kid as well. I didn't really get into Guyver until later on. I was running around in yahoo chat rooms acting like a person who was killing spawns "a spawn hunter" and ran into a group of people with the name Guyver in their names. I thought to myself "I know what those are" and put them on follow. I got involved with Guyver RP before I even comprehended what a zoanoid was. The RP spawned my obsession. People in the RP used this site as reference from time to time for various characters and what have you. They lead me here where I delved into the story and absorbed everything I could. Oh yeah, Star's Guyver site was the bomb back then too. His synopsis was one of the first things to truly introduce me to everything Guyver. Then I got a hold of the Warrior Guyver site. It wasn't until nearly 3 years later that I saw the "Out of Control" subsequently followed by me viewing 12 episodes of the anime. To tell you the truth I never really cared for the anime's. They're far too short. Guyver Manga and Warrior Guyver Fan Fiction is where its at IMHO.
  6. Oh it's just getting started. Keep it rolling guys! How would a fight between Dreadnought and one of these guys go down? Hulk Ms. Marvel Quasar Wonder Woman Thanos Iron Man Hyperion Doctor Doom
  7. I agree. Lets try to stay on topic, or at least close to the topic at hand. I hate Americans. Maybe hate is too strong of a word. I dislike the way we do business in the rest of the world. I dispise the fact that the majority of our nation is nothing more than simplitons without the ability to see the big picture. But yeah. Lets keep on topic. And I edited your post because it was in bad taste. One of those pop shots I mentioned earlier. Keep it clean, keep it fun. Run with it. Be serious if you can get away with it. Oh yeah, and I'm glad to see so much activity on this board.
  8. I'm not Matt. I didn't lock that topic. I don't like locking topics or deleting post unless people are taking cheap shots at other people. We can talk nice and be friendly with one another. Learn to take things with a grain of salt. Anything uncalled for will be handled by the "mods".
  9. Oh man you should have seen the other message boards I posted this on. One of them is already on page 6! Great stuff
  10. I don't think we should close this. The horrible idea of shutting down every topic just because it might start a debate is out dated. We need debates. Toss your ideas, tell me I'm an idiot and don't know what I'm talking about, just be civil about it. Express your views and don't be afraid of being banned. Keep it as PG as possible mind you, and don't openly insult another person outright, but if they're full of crap, tell them so! This wasn't actually me writing this up. I got this in my email today and figured I would share. I just thought it was interesting that this guy would try and say he was a Christian when most obviously his a Muslim. It's fun to spark discussions. I wanted to see what other people thought about it. More power to you Kaiser! And feel welcome to express your opinion on this board whenever the urge strikes you! Mods are there to make sure things don't get way out of hand... If things didn’t' get at least a little out of hand life, and this message board, would be drab. !!!
  11. Yeah those first 100 episodes or so of Dragon Ball had some little "pervert" moments here and there. Mainly because of the Turtle Master...
  12. That was the first Guyver anime I was able to get my hands on. I couldn't stand it. I call it "Guyver Porn". It's complete with a tentacle sex monster.
  13. I don't really have any where else to post this... So yeah... Guyver Strike Force site updated!!! Added a crap load of stuff to the archive section. Man I need an artist so I can toss up a few more data files! Check out, Breaking Free, GuyverWarrior's Confusion, and The Acrimony Remittance in the role play section... And Tekkaman vs Kavzar in the out of character fights section! Enjoy!!!
  14. You have a sick... And dirty mind.
  15. UPDATED GUYVER FAN ARCHIVE: Added Writer: William White III (That's me!) And two of his fan fictions. ------------------ We really need an active artist.
  16. Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama Sr. (black muslim) of Nyangoma-Kogelo, Siaya District, Kenya, and Ann Dunham of Wichita, Kansas. (white atheist ). When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced and his father returned to Kenya. His mother married Lolo Soetoro -- a Muslim -- moving to Jakarta with Obama when he was six years old. Within six months he had learned to speak the Indonesian language Obama spent "two years in a Muslim school, then two more in a Catholic school" in Jakarta. Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim while admitting that he was once a Muslim, mitigating that damning information by saying that, for two years, he also attended a Catholic school. Obama's father, Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. was a radical Muslim who migrated from Kenya to Jakarta, Indonesia. He met Obama's mother, Ann Dunhama white atheist from Wichita, Kansasat the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Obama, Sr. and Dunham divorced when Barack, Jr. was two. Obama's spinmeisters are now attempting to make it appear that Obama's introduction to Islam came from his father and that influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya immediately following the divorce and never again had any direct influence over his son's education. Dunham married another Muslim, Lolo Soetoro who educated his stepson as a good Muslim by enrolling him in one of Jakarta's Wahabbi schools. Wahabbism is the radical teaching that created the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad on the industrialized world. Since it is politically expedient to be a Christian when you are seeking political office in the United States, Obama joined the United Church of Christ to help purge any notion that he is still a Muslim.
  17. My favorite saga is the Piccolo Saga from Dragon Ball. One of my favorite lines in the entire series (DB, DBZ, DBGT) comes from that saga. I don't remember the exact context, but they where at a tournament, one of the first featured. It's been a while since I've watched this, the names of all the characters escape me, but the quote (subbed from Japanese!) was mentioned while Krillen and Goku where watching a match. One of the officiators mentions the combatant took down his opponent with but a single blow. The two of them say something to the effect of "Two kicks, one punch." It was one of the first moments in the series that you truly saw how far above the rest of the game these guys were. I loved that moment.

    Creepy o_O

You showed this to your friends? How many? What did they say? That's kind of cool.
  19. Oh man the way my friend has his set up rocks. He's got a great surround sound system to go with it. Watching the big game takes a new meaning. When watching movies things are WAY larger than actual size. Jurassic Park actually roars. King Kong was an experience. And even the classics hold up. Big screens rock. If only I had an extra 2-3 grand lying around.
  20. UPDATED YET AGAIN!!! Added two more pictures to Zee in the Fan Art section of the Guyver Fan Archive. Cheers! I need more updates. Pump me full my brothers!
  21. If only. We so need an artist on this board. Sorry about that. I some how misplaced the file. Stranger things have been known to happen. It's fixed now.
  22. The “Supercharge” thing was pretty lame when I saw it in the “Our Worlds at War” trade paper back. I don’t know McGuiness just doesn’t rub me the right way. Still, why would he go for the “supercharge” without knowing what he was going up against? Superman would want to investigate; he wouldn't go straight for the kill. There would be that moment where he was holding Dreadnought like a rag doll. At that point, Dreadnought could suck him dry. He'd be a helpless babe in the void of space. No more Superman. Alkenphel can shatter a mountain with the right motivation. So can a decently powerful megasmasher. Let him try to get through the shields. I'm still saying that Dreadnought could take a hit or two. I think after that hit or two Thor would have the upper hand and would probably want to crush him just for the fun of it. Hitting the control medallion is one of those things you'd have to know to go after. We'd have to imagine that Thor wouldn't be aware of such a crucial flaw. Tons of heavy hitters. The names escape me right now. It's dark and the lady is sleeping. I'll look them up when I try my "Dreadnought rules Apokolips" scenario (I love the New Gods and the Forever people! Kirby Rules!). Someone else should hit this one up first though.
  23. I thought I went over this one. Superman went down in round 1. Dreadnought was coming up on him and was still a couple hundred miles off when he noticed some unnatural force siphoning power from the Earths sun. It seems this beast thrived off the stuff and took his power from it. Taking this into account, Dreadnought made sure to suck him dry of the "yellow sun radiation" before vaporizing the foul demon's body with a hyper pressure cannon. One has to make sure that such scourges don't lead to the sun blowing up or anything like that. Superman is too easy. He only has "Super powers" under a yellow sun, plus what he's able to store up in his "living battery" of a body. Take that away from him, and he's just a weak little humanoid in the void of space. He doesn't even have superior mass density post crisis, post infinite crisis. I feel you here. I think what Zeo (James) is trying to relay here is that we are aware of the fact that Thor is a magical entity. Then again, Reed Richards was able to clone him and create a hammer for him out of science. I still say that magic is only magic until you put it down into science. The human understanding of science is still in its pre-adolescent stages at best. Our ability to grasp and hold tight to the fundamental properties that make up our universe are almost non-existent. Thor may be magical, but I’m sure Reed Richards was able to find some way to relay the properties of the character into the logical world. I think Dreadnought would observe it the same and be able to adjust his shields enough to take a second hit. We’ve seen characters of much lesser merit take a hit from Mjolnir in the past and survive. The fight after that would be the point that Dreadnought might run into problems. I’d wager that Thor’s invulnerability could take a pounding and a half. I’d still like to see him try his hand against Darksied and the entire planet of Apokolips!
  24. Magic is only magic until it's broken down into science. Purg'stall could in some respects be thought of as a magical figure, he's hit a Gigantic a few times and it lived. It might hurt a little, maybe crack a few of his body crystals, but I think Dreadnought can take at least two of those dangit!
