Is the WG's power level too high?
TheGuyversWill replied to exscaped_pyscho's topic in Warrior Guyver Fan-Fiction
I don't think Thor would be able to score that strike. The first rule to being a Guyver is "Protect your CM." This being said, there's no way Thor is getting close enough to nail the CM dead center. he might be able to get off a mystical strike of lightning or two, but Dreadnought has never shown to be vulnerable to magic in a major way. I think he'd have the chance to at least block one or two of these shots. Thor might be a god, but the concept of god varies from culture to culture. We could look at Thor as more of a Zoalord, a being who is beyond the culture of humanity to the point that we worshiped them in an earlier age. I think Dreadnought can block a mystical lightning strike. There are enough tricks in the rest of Dreadnought's bag to make this interesting. Anyone else got any ideas on this? -
Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT, were over a long time ago. I'd say just the american craze had died down at this point, but there are still some hardcore fans out there.

The question is, how do you implement it? I mean do you just start a thread and let people say "I liked this one!" or what? I like the idea of an actual site that has a DB hooked to it somewhere to allow to actively vote as you read this fiction. That would require a massive code overhaul of the entire site though. Any other ideas on how to implement such a device?

I'd die for one. That Zee guy I've been showing you is actually trying to get into comics. Getting him to do it would be a joke. He was nice to pop out two like he did. I think the first was a warm up sketch for something else he was working on. Like I said, the guy draws a mean fantastic four. Just wish we had someone who could pop out a drawing in five minutes on a whim for us.

It's Apokolips for the planet. A phonetic spelling. Weird huh? I don't think Apocolypse and his four horsemen would fair well against Dreadnought, or for that matter a Warrior Guyver. He's just not the ultra powerful type. I mean there is a reason his main foes are X-Men. That rag tag bunch just doesn't have what it takes to take out a true super heavy weight. The Entire planet of Apokolips on the other hand... Darksied is a God. Someone else run with this. Come on, give Dreadnought the fight of his life! Make him Granny Goodness' b*tch! -
**UPDATED: With Color!!!** Guyver and 5 Zoanoids by Zee!

Might be a mix between some Enzyme types. I don't remember type two having the little back claws and the tail... Strange. Still a bad @$$ piece. -
I was library bound for at least 6 months at one point. I just couldn't afford dial up and keep the place I was living at, at the time. No cable either mind you. Hopefully things will look up for you soon and you'll get at least dial up at home! You know if you have a checking account you can get the first three months free or something like that off of netscape or aol. If it's the telephone problem... You can tell the phone company you'd like to apply for any discounted rates they might have. Sometimes if you don't make over 4 grand a month they'll cut you a nice break on your bill. You can find these in most of the utilities, you just have to ask. Haha... Matt calls it Hydro! Silly Canadians, tricks are for kids!

I don't watch enough TV to merrit such an investment! I need a bigger monitor though. Still a nice setup. My friend has a high def projection system. Not sure the exact model or anything. But its an actual projector that sits at the far side of his room. He has a 108 pull down screen that it's projected onto. I think he got the actual projector for a little over 900, and the screen for about 150. Still, we only have a 19 inch (it might be bigger! I don't know I never watch the thing!) old school TV. What do you call those? A boob tube?

Well you were salivating over the possibility (I know I was). So here it is, another Guyver and well, some Zoanoids (hyper too!) by Zee!
-
Got any data files written up to go along with these stories? I could add those too! Man we need a resident artist so badly right now.
-
None of the above is pulling away quick. Oh man this one is going to be down to the wire!
-
Eh it's a fan fiction. I think it might invite flamers if it wasn't properly moderated. Still. Nice thought.

Any news on this? the printer shop is calling me! Give me something in a nice file format! Something not JPEG! 300dpi! 300 dpi! Yey!

That sucks. Are you public Library bound? I don't like the name of this thread. Let's start a new one about something else. Anything else! Something interesting!

Lets keep this going...! Who else can we throw in the mix? Let's try to hurt Dreadnought! -
He said he would try. We'll see what comes of it. Hopefully something shows soon .

Not I. But stay tuned via the official site http://www.guyvertv.com

I'm not really a fan of either opening scene/music. Just my take on it.

Sorry if I borrow from others here, as I’m trying not to re-read your collective post at this point as to avoid refreshing your tactics in my mind. Hopefully this keeps everything as fresh as possible from my perspective. Batman vs Dreadnought OK, so this doesn’t go down that well for Bats’ at all. In almost every scenario the Batman gets taken out in less time than it takes to say, well then it takes to say taken down. That’s not the point of this little exercise though is it? We have to think how he is to survive and make his way through this world. There is no perfect reason as to why Batman might attack Dreadnought, so let’s not dwell there. Instead let’s retreat to the idea that they just want to kill each other. Batman has access to just about any technology he can get his hands on, so... Let’s imagine something like the OMAC’s plus any other automated robotic device out there would account for some of this technology. I mean you’d think by now Batman would have figured out a way to even take control of those Superman robots running amuck throughout the world. They’d surround Dreadnought and give him what’s what for all they had. I’d say they only have ten thousand of these at tops out there, but they’d be enough to bring Dreadnought to the brink of his energy reserves. Batman would have used this time to get in touch with every single contact he could drum up in 30 seconds, finding out exactly what he was up against. I mean we’re talking multidimensional magician-ie types who would pin point the origination point of this menace who calls himself DREADNOUGHT. They’d relay the information to good old Bruce, letting him know every weakness the big blue has ever or will ever possess. By this point Dreadnought is picking OMAC and Superman juice out of his over grown armored butt and trying to figure out exactly why he was attacked in the first place. The whole freaking JLA would show up wondering why he just took out 90 blocks of prime real estate in central Gotham, mind you they wouldn’t exactly be looking for an explanation. The Batman then travels into an alternate dimension/time line where long, long ago there was a masterful being who had slain the mighty Dreadnought, with but a single Crystal. Some mystical magic lore about “He who holds this crystal will become all powerful and mighty indeed” would be linked to it of course. Batman would then break into the historical offices containing said relic taking it for himself and “Boom tubing” the heck out of dodge with the help of Scott Free (Mister Miracle you silly nanny’s!). Turns out the device is some super advanced matrix used to slay Dreadnought in an alternate timeline after he had ascended to some form of extreme power and tried to take over reality. Who’d have thunk it! We’d imagine by this point Dreadnought would be standing in a pile of super heroes, holding an awfully vibratey Flash in his clutches, pressuring him for information as to why he was attacked in the first place. Then low and behold Batman drops down from the sky above, holding this matrix and all tricked out in some extra Guyver-ish armor shouting out from the rooftops for all to hear “Al’Gaga’Mae’th” which in turn causes some radical and groovy lights to shoot from the before mentioned “advanced matrix”. This in turn shuts down the Dreadnought armor, and leaves poor old Jason O’Conner naked and shivering in a pile of unconscious heroes, dead OMAC’s, and disassembled Superman robots. You'd expect Batman to shrug his shoulders at this point and say something like "That was easy." then simply disappear into the darkness. At least that's my take on it. -
Hopefully some point soon. Why don't you have a land line?

UPDATED THE GUYVER FAN ARCHIVE!!! Added: Artist "Zee" as well as 3 pictures by him. Enjoy. Note to self: Double posted due to update to site. Double post was required.
-
Great to hear! I'm eagerly awaiting your submissions

He post over at the Robliefeld forums. Guy draws a mean fantastic four. I'm trying to get a few more pictures out of him. As for now I've added him to the Guyver Fan Archive along with a couple other shots of the same picture. IE, pencils, alt color job, and this picture. Hopefully I'll be able to add a few more before it's all said and done.

So apparently I inspired someone over at the Rob Liefeld Forums to draw a Guyver. Here is the result! The guys forum handle is "Zee". not sure about his real name.
