  1. Hey Sully, glad to see you're still here. I enjoyed both GWOTG and WG-Fic and would love to see both continue. Hope that new tablet of yours helps you pump out art that will blow our minds and wow as you and other artists of the site always have. Good luck with the updates and I'll be eagerly awaiting your posting of the new update that will explain the silence.
  2. Cyber Guyver's redesign looks interesting. The arms remind me of the WG2 CPMs That's the whole fusion cannon thing, right? Listed in CG's datafile?
  3. Congrats, Matt. Happy anniversary. Love the pic. It's a new oldie, but a goodie.
  4. Unbelievable work, my man. I never thought I'd see this again. What a blast from the past this has been. Great choice.
  5. I look forward to sitting back and reading the whole thing when it's posted. Stellar Warrior Guyver, eh? Ya'll keep up the good work, eh?
  6. Simular to as they are now, they are not meant for persanal reading like a jurnal or a dairy but for general use to warn those who might hae to fight along side or against these foes. I wouldn't put the above list as a "these guys really would be writing this" list. It was just an example of who "could" be writing them. The data files appear in the story from time to time for example Kron loves reading them. Reminds me of All Things Change part 1. He was sitting in front of that computer reading them, wasn't he?
  7. Interesting thought, McAvoy. It's really too bad that if we ask for answers, we'll a No comment. But it'll be worth it, won't it?
  8. While the power punch theory makes sense and could be the most likely to happen. Don't Gigantic Guyvers have power amps that up their mega smasher power to earth shattering levels? Or am I getting that confused? Could those crystal be mega smashers themselves like I believe WG4 has?
  9. He didn't draw it, as he said he took a picture from the latest book and coloured it, very well I might add. Nicely done, want a something a little more challenging to colour McAvoy? Whoa, McAvoy! That sounds like an invite to the WG team as a colorist to me! Take the offer and see where it goes!
  10. In checking out the new hotness for Sean and Sho's new units (Lovely work, btw), a thought hit me. Since Warrior Mk 2 units were originally Warrior Type 2 units, how come they have a standard looking gravity orb, while Sean and Stephen's type of unit have a pyramid shaped orb? Is it because of the Mk 2 tech mutating the units? Does the shape effect how powerful it is or the abilities it has?
  11. Yeah and if you ask them to assuage the torture, you'll get one of these "No Comment" They love to torture us, but when the goodies are revealed, it was all worth it.
  12. Sure he has the BED, but as for having usable CPMs, I don't think so. Especially if his unit is anything like Faye's. -Physical Strength: Subject's abilties varies due to this unit's unique technology. The Unit's CPM's have been integrated into the unit's HSL power system and allows subject to raise power level from 6 times a standard Guyver, to 10 times, at will. Consequently, this eliminates the use of the CPM's as a weapon, but grants subject the strength of 600 to 1,000 men. This can be temporarily boosted to 20 times a normal Guyver with the use of the Bio-Energy doubler. Though equiped with a HSL power system, use of the Bio-Energy Doubler for more than a few minutes results in a massive drop in power level to that of a normal Guyver. Depending on regeneration requirements, the power down state can last as long as an hour before subject regains normal power levels. But then again, if the unit he has derives any of it's implementation of tech from it's host, that CPMs for Gigantic type power punch idea posted about could happen. And is something I totally forgot about.
  13. An intriguing question. And similar to one I had as well. How much influence does a host of a Mark 2 unit have over the abilities it develops after the bonding completes? In Sho's case, he looks like he's gonna be a mega shield type.
  14. And thats why we love Sho, because he's overall good guy and a defender first and foremost, mess with his friends and he will put the hurt on ya! The Praetorian units were the units developed by Warrior Guyver II's Universe's Krullnar and Diblis from the W'kar universe right? Sho and Faye sure are lucky for getting their hands on such unique units, probably won't be seeing anymore of their ilk again, born of the finest Gen tech from TWO separate universes! Warrior Guyver Thancrus and Warrior Guyver Vamore have Praetorian units too right? Or are they just normal Warrior units, if a warrior unit can be called normal I mean Warrior Exceed or Defender might be good names for Sho's new form, but thats just me Yes, the Warrior Mark 2 units were originally Warrior Guyver Type 2 units from Stephen's universe. The Mark 2 tech that was used on them mutated them in ways unique to that particular unit. And yes, they were made by Stephen's universe's version of Krullnar and W'Kar's universe's Dibblis. And I'd doubt if we see anymore of the Praetorian type unless Jason's Matrix or the one that he carries gets a detailed scan of one of the already active units and is commanded to upgrade one of the other units to a Praetorian type. There were 3 made and all were activated by members of Anti Chronos forces if memory serves. Warrior Guyvers Vamore and Thancrus are Type 1 Units like Jason's used to be if memory serves. It says it for sure in WGV's file: http://warriorguyver.com/wgfanfic/dataf ... vamore.htm I dunno what Thancrus's unit is, but I'm betting it's a standard WG unit too.
  15. Not really what I was asking, but it's an interesting explanation. And it's funny. From your explanation, I got a flash of Sho jumping in front of the group and projecting a huge shield bubble to stop an attack. Wonder if that'll be something that actually makes it into the new DF. "Shield Bubble Generator"?
  16. Unbelievable work, Matt. I liked all of them, but after sitting and comparing, it was a toss up between 1 and 4. I liked 1 because it still shows his unit as it was. Since when he was still an original guyver, he wasn't in the Gigantic all the time. And I liked 4 because it showed his Giganticness. In the end, I think the 1st one fit Sho's new form best. Lovely work all around, Matt. I can't wait to see what his new name is. Also, since it has been a while since I read the last part of 7 Days, with this new unit, was the Gigantic from his old unit converted to a WG type, so it'll work with his new unit, or did it stay with the old one for the new host of the G1 unit to use?
  17. No, he'll just be a giant pain in the ass to whoever pisses him off. GPZ knew that first hand, didn't he? I STILL wince at that scene. W'Kar certainly knows how to make his engagements memorable, don't he?
  18. Ooh, excellent! I can't wait to read this. I've been following everything since this story picked back up. It's too bad we won't see any updated or new datafiles yet, but I say "never say never" since Allen has popped back up before. Zeo should do the same, all's a matter of waiting. In the meantime, I think I'll go refresh myself by reading 7 Days 1-6 for tonight. Excellent work, Sully and may you have a great day at work. I wanna make sure I get a nice review up for you tonight.
  19. Ask McAvoy. If memory serves, he has copies of all the originals. I believe he's been updating them as well for the current fics. Hope that helps
  20. Doubt it. Jason's unit is far more advanced then the standard unit Sho is using. I would believe the self defense mode uses a friend or foe mode with Jason's previous memories or the standard 'no threatening movements' that the standard unit type uses. With that in mind, why would the Matrix attached to his unit do anything to his DNA? I would believe it'd focus on repairing the unit or the host first, so he could come out of self defense and get back to the fight. I could be wrong about that as looking in his DF, I didn't find anything about the self defense mode. Add in the Matrix's unpredictable nature and there is a possibility of DNA augmentation, but I doubt it. Especially since in most circumstances, it'd have to be at Jason's will and it's been said he wants to stay human. Maybe James or Sully will drop in and elaborate on this.
  21. Same here. I come by at least daily to see if there are any new goodies posted. Sometimes more then once. After all the work that was put into this and all the waiting for this part, I can gurantee it'll be well received on my end. I'll probably re-read this part several times to make sure I've soaked everything in. Hell, just before you post the new part, I might go back and re-read the whole fic just to refresh myself. My favorite parts of the fic so far are the ones with W'Kar in them. He kicks so much ass and has humor to go with it. Good to hear about the new computer getting in finally. And using the new Word. I'm still using 2002. So I'd guess going from 2000 to 2007 is a major step up
  22. Yes, and I think this is what ZK is looking for: http://s3.invisionfree.com/GuyversLair/ ... hp?act=idx I'm one of the old timers from that stage on this board and just about everything that was done here was moved to the new board. Sadly, I don't RP there much anymore. Real life basically got in the way. And it isn't just me, it looks like RL has gotten in the way for a lot of the others. There hasn't been a post on the board in a good while, but ZK can feel free to drop in and check things out.
  23. Sounds good to me! Very nice find. I got some of my hardware from my family when they get new hardware. One of my upcoming setups comes from my aunt. Would make for nice test or play computer. Also nice to hear about the story. Can't wait to see how big it is when finally complete. Will this part be one big part like Meetings was or split into 2 parts? Also, just out of curiosity, what is this new toy's specs? Happy writing, good luck and good find!
  24. I always thought that the unit Atkins had was the Guyver Supreme unit. Somehow, if he doesn't get a Warrior unit of some kind, that particular unit fit him. Time will tell, eh?
  25. Yes and Mizuki has it if memory serves. I'd be interested see which powers this unit has over the original since it has Mk 2 tech in it as well as not having support a very premature baby. Well, you know what they say, if you wanna understand a person, you gotta walk in their shoes. Mizuki has now and I wonder just how much closer she and Sho are now because of it?
