The original Alien trilogy all the way (yes I even love 3).

ARk Survival Evolved. Any game that lest me fight, tame and ride prehistoric beasts is going to get me hooked!

While guyot is the true villain out of the lot I have to go with Waferdanos. I liked his powers and character right of the bat.

Honestly I would not kill off anyone. Guyver is one of those few series where none is annoying or feels unnecessary to me. Both the good guys and the bad guys. Yes even Mizuki. This is because she is an important part of our starting trio. Sho is basically a normal kid who's had his whole world turned upside down but at least he has the power to fight back. While Tetsuro would never have chosen things to play out as they have he is a sci-fi geek who has found himself in a real life version of the stories he loved so he is able to mentally adapt to the situation much faster the Sho or Mizuki. Also thanks to his intelligence and computer skills he's able to contribute to some degree even though he can't fight. Mizuki on the other hand is the true "normal" one of the group. Sho has no powers or mind set to deal with the nightmare she been thrown into. Her whole world as been stolen from her and because she is "normal" she is powerless to do anything about it. This is why she takes so long to accept whats happening out of the three. This is why I never found her annoying. She is the one who helps keep the tone of the series grounded with her humanity, acting as a reminder that there are normal humans court in this conflict too.

I really need to watch this series in full. I've watched episodes here and there when I was kid but I've never had a full start to finish viewing. I understand that some of its ideas are a little outdated but it was still a good series and I'd like to watch it all.

Prometheus 2 - “Alien: Paradise Lost!

I said it would be interesting, I never said it would be a contest of equals . However while Guyver will always be my favorite I have a lot of respect for the Golden Avenger.

Very cool Is it me or are they deliberately trying not to engage Agito in close quarters? First they become intangible to escape his grasp then as soon as he's about to start flying they a start blasting at him and his men. Could it be that despite all the power this combined form has it is actually physically weak (relatively speaking of course)? I personal would go with Malak-al-Maut since it literally translates to "Angel of Death". As to why the Clumegnig spheres are now invisible well we see at the end that they are creating a tornado i.e. manipulating the wind/atmospheric pressure. If Jabir has that power then he could use it to bend light around the spheres effectively making them invisible. All though if that is the case it would require a lot of skill and control to use it that way. Side Note: Seems like Gigantic Exceed is working its way up the food chain. First Godzilla and now Evangelion

So as it stands the only way for Sho to win is somehow land one of his more powerful attacks but they take to long to charge. Well unless Sho could put Tony in a position that would give him time to charge up his attacks he doesn't stand much of a chance. Also Superior Tony sounds rather similar to my Prometheus Guyver, that would be an interesting match up.

Dose anyone remember that wonderful game Operation Raccoon City? No, well good because its the biggest waste of your money next to Alien: Colonial Marines! Well for some reason Capcom in their infinite wisdom have decided to back this!

While its not considered the best their are lots of fun moments in the game. My favorite being The Tower Boss fight. My personal favorite game will always be DMC 3.

Prometheus 2 - “Alien: Paradise Lost!

To be honest Jess I feel the same but I'm happy to meet people half way when they dislike it. The movie has it's flaws but I love it. As for the compromising, we'll just have to see how it plays out. You have actually got me worried now . -

Well hopefully we are getting both Ridley's doing his prequel series and Neill will be doing Alien 5 -

I honestly like the movie but like any good fan I will not deny its flawed. I loved the science fiction and world building but as a movie there's definitely something not quite right. The movie's biggest flaw in my eyes was leaving so much unexplained (which was done on purpose and out of pretension ). I'm not referring to the stuff related to the Engineers that side of things is fine. Tons of information about the humans characters that was in the script and would have really help flesh them out was never shot or even hinted at. For example in extra material rather then being incompetent scientists Elizabeth Shaw and her partner come across as "fringe scientists" who's theories aren't taken seriously by their piers and who seem to put more stock in faith then the scientific method (or at least that's the impression I got) but because their discoveries correspond with those made by Wayland himself he takes them more seriously. Now doesn't that make more sense then whats actually shown in the movie, I agree somewhat with you view as well Salkafar. Hopefully Mr. Scott has learned that having an ego trip is not the way to make a good movie. Maybe this change in title is a sign that Ridley has either gotten over himself or had his wrists slapped and can now get back making good movies. -
Ok in a surprising move the title of the sequel to Ridley Scott's Prometheus will be called Alien: Paradise Lost. While not much is known about the plot yet this simple change does raise a few question. And how will this effect Neill Blomkamp’s Alien movie?
-
Jupiter - Thank you. Salkafar - That's taken care of in two ways. One his head beam actually draws out more heat the a standard one. The heat produced is so intense that the laser is blue instead of the green or red. Also by being able to use the beam for longer periods of time it can expel even more heat. The second is that it can also expel heat through its face vents. The armour is able to alternated between the normal gas releases and heat release. Also hopefuly coming soon (well a month or so's time) - "Prometheus Gigantic"

Something I just realised I don't actually know just how powerful Prometheus is! Just how strong would someone with strength proportional to that of a guyver be with a 300x power boost?
-
Thank you for the input. An origin story would not be a bad idea and having him do all this by himself, at least right from the start, is a little farfetched. His origins remain the same but while he loves the research he's doing at Cronos and is rather eccentric he has his misgivings about Cronos's plans. While he dose have his little "why wasn't I chosen for more important work" break down this doesn't lead him to stealing the unit by itself. The Guyver I of his universe who is a Cronos employee and has similar aspirations to Lisker manipulates him into bonding with the unit saying it will make him more useful to Cronos and allow him to get the recognition he deserves. Guyver I dose this because Strigoi is only a scientist and should be fairly easy to eliminate even bonded to a guyver. This all leads to Strigoi being forced to go on the run from Cronos. He spends some time on the run, living like a vagrant and beginning to suffer from the side effects of the virus . It is during this time his family is killed, he doesn't have a wife or children but he dose have a brother and his family who he deeply cared for. Not long after this he is approached by a female Guyver III who invites him to join Zeus (in this universe Zeus is not created solely by Guyver III, instead it is lead by a group of people who all have ties to Cronos). He helps them with their scientific work as well as field missions and they in turn help him cure himself of the virus's side effects. While he makes many friends during this time it becomes clear that his ordeals have had a very negative effect on his psychi. Eventually he proposes the Prometheus Project. Using all the data and equipment they have stolen from Cronos to create their own optimised soldiers. This idea begins causes friction in Zeus and begins to create a rift between Strigoi and Guyver III who were becoming close friends. This is the point were he starts working down the dark path towards Prometheus. His second arc will take place while him being as he is now, opening on one of his planetary experiments. We are introduced the Council of Guyvers, Prometheus's quest for Paradise and the team of guyvers who are trying to stop him. For the first part of the story Prometheus is more in the background and the heroes primary deal with his bio-weapons. However after the heroes destroy data that would have lead him to Paradise with the aid of the Predators Prometheus makes his way to Yautja Prime, intent on destroying the homeworld of the Predators. Things look pretty bleak but then something happens that is both fortuitous and terrible at the same time. Prometheus, due to an oversight on his part, loses control of his ultimate bio-weapon, Project Red. Now unable to control his army and facing a foe more powerful than himself Prometheus is forced to allys with the heroes in order to survive.

Dirk Diggler - "a little group called um..."smegg Japan Legend"......um, hozar!" Really? This is getting childish isn't it? So your going to scan the manga and post it online while providing no or barely any payment towards the manga or its creator. Japan Legend requests that you either provide proof of purchase or pay money which will actually go towards supporting the manga and they will provide you with a translated version of each chapter. So looking at it that way who's the real jerk here? The ones who politely ask you to support the manga or the ones who shout obscenities.

I really don't care if someone starts up some new guyver scanlations. The advocacy has always done right by me, I always got what I payed for, my money goes towards keeping guyver going and I found the first forum I was ever interested to become a member of (a choice I haven't regretted). Trying to slag the advocacy off is both a cheap shot and a thinly veiled attempt to make themselves appear better. Most forums I've ever looked into always seem to be nothing more than stewing pots of bile, anger and negativity. That's why I like it here, everyone is for the most part nice and respectful.

I agree with you there. I meant to say similar in terms of some of its themes. I intend for the ending to have a better resolution to the story and the characters. And that won't be the only thing I'll draw inspiration from for the ending.

Something that may help shed a little light on the mysteries around is his age. When he met Archanfel all those years ago Prometheus was effectively more than half Archanfel's age. While no accurate number can be come to by the Council of Guyvers he's age is estimated to be at least more then double that now. It took him almost a full lifetime to understand and fully master all the Creator and Engineer technology at disposal on that planet all those years ago. Since then he has encountered all manner of setbacks, mistakes and failures yet has somehow always managed to overcome or work round them in the end. Their have been times where he has effectively vanished for decades or centuries at a time as he works out how to overcome a current problem. In his current state he has acquired so much experience and collected so much data that he now seems almost infallible in his actions and choices. The Council of Guyvers will openly admit that a mere human having this much power and perfect thinking is bordering on impossible. They can only suggest that he is both a miracle and horror born of from the endless possibilities of the multiverse. At best his very existence could be explained as the cosmic dice falling in his favor too many times until eventually he became to powerful for them to effect him when chance turned against him. The fact that he has carried on down this path when virtually anyone else would have died or given up in the face of such incalculable odds would be considered lord-able if he had not become a monster to achieve it. I think you put it best yourself he has become almost like a xenomorph and that's how he's be able to do what he's done. No normal human could do what he's done or think like he does. His mind is constantly working and calculating towards his goals unclouded by distraction and fully absorbed by its work. He has the brain of a human and a supreme intellect but what actually goes on in his head could barely be described as human anymore. The story of Prometheus is what inspired him to become a scientist when he was a child and at one time he had convinced himself he would use all he'd learned to help others. That's why he started calling himself that. But instead of become a beacon of knowledge and wisdom he has become an intellectual black hole that consumes all it comes into contact with. A perversion of his childhood dreams. You are right though, its impossible to tell a traditional story with this kind of character. Hmmmm... Maybe I should work on something similar to the Phoenix Saga manga. A collection of separate stories that are connected by Prometheus, his actions and occasional other characters. The stories would go in no specific order, some are truly bleak tales while other have happier outcomes. I envision the ending being something like Hulk: The Last Titan.

If a Prometheus Class Entity (PCE for short) is detected the Thanatos Protocol comes into play. When the protocol is active all current experiments are cesd. If the PCE is unaware of Prometheus or aware but unhostile they are to be studied (in secrecy if possible) and their level of advancement accessed. If they are discovered to be inferior or equal then they are to be terminated but if they are found to be superior then they are to be left alone but monitored until Prometheus is able to surpass their level of advancement. Once this point is reached they will be terminated. If the PCE is hostile then defensive action is to be taken until their level of advancement accurately judged. If they are inferior or equal then they are to be terminated. In the event of a superior and aggressive PCE Prometheus will attempt an immediate withdrawal and avoid the PCE until things are more in his favor. If escape is impossible then the PCE is to be attacked with full force. In the face of imminent defeat or Prometheus death the ship will auto eject its black box (preferably through a wormhole) and then overload its wormhole generators which will result in the creation of a black hole which will prevent the PCE from gaining access to its technology and potentially destroy the PCE as well. In the event of Prometheus death the Gaia Protocol come into play. When the Gaia Protocol becomes active one of the many clones he has hidden throughout the multiverse will be activated. These have access to all Prometheus's memories up to the point they were created, a copy of all his research up to that point and a small craft with wormhole generator technology. The clone's craft is programed to home in on the ship's black box so that it can be collected. The ship will always attempt to send the black box to a universe where a clone is located and it's the signal from the black box that awakens the clone. The retrieval of the black box will allow the clone to quickly advance to the level Prometheus was at before he died. If any of the clones bunkers are ever compromised their ship will overload its wormhole generators. While this system is not perfect, this was done on purpose. In the event that everything should go wrong there is always the possibility that a clone could activate and be able to carry on Prometheus's work. Finally in the event of a clone activating and challenging Prometheus or two clones coming into conflict then the Cronos Protocol comes into play. When they meet Prometheus and the clones control metals will begin to resonate with each other. Prometheus's control metal gives off a special kind of resonation that will activate a hidden program in the clone's control metal that will cause it to take over and paralyze its hosts body. The clone will then be studied and terminated. None of the clones are awire of the protocol. If Prometheus dies and a clone finds the black box they are made aware of the protocol, their control metal will be given the resonation ability and the hidden program deleted. In the event that the Cronos Protocol fails then the Thanatos Protocol comes into play. If the black box is ever accessed by anyone then Prometheus or his clones (it has a DNA lock and runs several test before allowing itself to accessed) the all data will be destroyed starting with everything relating to Cronos Protocol. Also Prometheus and his clones ships will not activate their Black Hole Contingency if they detect the PCE to be Prometheus and a clone.

The horrific fact of the matter is that he doesn't even know what he wants anymore. He's a being trapped in purgatory, on a never ending quest for power that has robbed him of his humanity and which he is incapable of escaping. I never intended for him to be beaten by force, infact at one point in the story the heroes do find a way try to destroy him. But all this does is cause Prometheus to fuse with his ship's control metals becoming a Gigantic like entity, yet even this is not enough for him. The idea was that eventually Danny would come to the conclusion that trying to kill him is pointless, the only way to beat him is reach out and help him break out of the cycle he is trapped in. While my head cannon of the aliens universe is different that's not a bad idea. Ok so the basics of the intro are the same but the Scared Guyver is a member of the 'Council of Guyvers'. This council was in part formed due to Prometheus's actions (although there are other facts that brought about its creation as well). For his part Prometheus is either unaware of or indifferent to the existence of the Council. We learn that Prometheus has been traveling through the Guyver multiverse for a long time now, conducting his diabolical experiments as well as searching for the Creators. However it appears that his planes have changed and he is now returning to the universe that effectively spawned him. The Aliens Universe. It seems that he has decided to try and track down the Engineers instead. The Council of Guyvers creates a small task force (that includes Zeta and Scared) and send them to that universe to try and beat Prometheus to the punch. If they can find the Engineers first they may be able to assist them in finding a way to beat Prometheus. Meanwhile the inhabitants of aliens universe are ill prepared to face a foe of such magnitude, with both human and yautja worlds being decimated. Once they arrive the guyvers begin a mission that will take them across the universe where they will meet new allies (both human and yautja), face alien horrors and uncover long forgotten secrets as they search for "Paradise". And all the while the dark presence of Prometheus looms over the galaxy. Prometheus has met Archanfel a long time ago. This version of Archanfel was not long away from falling asleep forever and requested Prometheus's aid. Unfortunately at the time their was nothing he could do for him. So instead Archanfel requested that he stay and talk with him until the end. It had been the first time in a long while that Prometheus felt kinship with someone but he was, at the time, incapable of understanding why Archanfel felt so lonely and incomplete.

In hindsight yes...rather op indeed. As for the Engineers they seem to be incredible inactive at this current time in the universe and maybe on the verge of extinction. If they have any functioning society at all they are keeping themselves very well hidden since in the Fire and Stone comic series it is shown that even the Predator Race have almost no knowledge of them or their whereabouts. That's why Prometheus is forced to search for them or any information to their whereabouts. On the subject of his reasoning for his actions I should elaborate further. What stared out as simple self-aggrandizement has become a very dark, twisted obsession that has only grown during his years of isolation. The desire to become more, to transcend limitations and weakness, to not only stand shoulder to shoulder with the gods of humanity but to surpass them as well as those who have (in his eyes) walked the same path as himself (the other guyvers) He has been consumed by a form of megalomania. As for his intelligence and the virus, that's something I should go into more detail on. While his guyver is able to help him resist the effects of the virus for a time it did not cure him. This is partly the reason why he started raiding Cronos facilities. To find data and samples of the virus so he could ether cure himself or alleviate the side effects. Which he managed to do. After gaining access to the technology aboard the Relic he was able to create a superior version of the virus that further boosted his intelligence but without side effects. This combined with his enhanced lifespan have allowed him to learn and master things that would be impossible for a normal human.
