While traitorous he has his uses. He's a good destabilizing element to throw into the mix as a distraction. He's also smart and dangerous which can be good if used right. Also everyone thought he was dead, none suspects, expects or makes plans for dead men. The only thing you must never do is trust him. As a Proto-Zoalord his body is likely unstable like Murakami's which means he may need constant medical treatment. It lets them keep him on a short leash.

Ok so it looks like Alien Paradise Lost and Alien 5 are both coming out the same year.

That was very therapeutic for me. So Prometheus is was born from my childhood unhappiness, my adults selfs creativity and imagination and a fusion of my to favorite works of fiction Guyver and Alien. Not the worst mix to build a character from. And before you ask I didnt make him a god from the start well because I just couldn't do that. I wanted a character who would grow and change over time. I didnt want a just a god, I wanted man who became a god.

Have you ever had someone ask you a question that was completely obvious but it never crossed your mind, Well you just asked one Hmm if I'm brutally honest its a combination of my lifetimes worth of poor self esteem and feelings of inadequacy fused with my pent up creative ability and fueled by new self confidence. I guess Prometheus was born from my childhood desires. A creature so powerful that none could hurt it and could crush anything that stood in its way. But more importantly he has the power to create a world of his own and force others to live in it because for a long time I felt that I had been born into a world that I didn't belong and which forced me to conform with it. Its dark but that's how I did and will maybe always to some degree feel that way. Thats why I could not make him a hero or even a just a normal villain. To satisfy my selfish desires I needed a dark god that could remake the world. Its funny I'm not a very dark person. But I've never really had a good outlet for my negative emotions so its seems I ended up using them to create Prometheus Guyver without fully realising it.

God the amount of sleepless nights I've had because of gaming, it was all so.....WORTH IT! Doing that tonight with Ark Survival Evolved. I love Friday nights.

Ok finally full read what W'kar is. The difference between the two is that W'kar absorbs energy while void matter (or rather the void control orb) generates void (nothingness) that erases all it touches. The user doesn't absorb anything they destroy. In a way void matter is the opposite of W'kar and the Quantum Matrix.

Big spoilers here Prometheus in the future becomes a Gigantic and then an Exceed. While I wont reveal the full scope of his backstory and powers yet his Exceed form if colossal, easily three times the high of Sho's Exceed. He now resides almost permanently on a planet called Hecatoncheires. It is in fact a planet size biomechanical organism he created. Fused to a black thrown at the very heart of this cosmic horror is Prometheus Exceed. He is now almost a true void entity, syphoning gigantic amounts nothingness to empower his armour rather than energy from the booster dimension. Most his energy is used to empower Hecatoncheires and all that goes on within it. His thrown also absorbed genetic material from him which is used to create his "Children", xenomorphs and bioweapons spawned from his own flesh. No longer bound by his madness, Prometheus evolved into an being of near absolute power and intellect. He now seeks to fulfill his childhood promise, "To use all he'd learned to help others". He plans to bring true peace and unity to the multiverse....by allowing all life to be reborn as his Children and erasing anything that threatens this great unification. Prometheus travels through the multiverse, infecting realities like cancerous virus. Each world that is assimilated will breed its own forces which spread out to infect others. Each of the Children preserve the memories their their hosts (but are not influenced by them) which creates a giant, multidimensional database that links to Prometheus through the genetic hive mind he shares with his Children. Even though his almost completely immobile and most of his energy is used to power Hecatoncheires and fuel his Children's growth he wields enough power in this state to destroy worlds in the blink of an eye. And whenever he rises from his throne, entire universes tremble.

The power of the void/nothingness is something I wanted to incorporate from the start but I could not think of a way to do it then. I think I will alter the armored functions a bit. Maybe drop the bio-freeze power and have Void Control Orb be the orb on his chest?

Thank you I literally had no idea who that was until I looked up. To be honest I had not read much of warrior guyver related stuff until after I had created Prometheus and I still am not greatly familiar with it.

I will be when I get the chance but i need to flesh out some stuff about his dark control metal first. Ok may as well do this now. His Control Metal has been infused with Void Matter. The Void is the place between realities, it is pure nothingness. The void erases everything that comes into contact with it but on ridiculously rare occasions an object will become part of the Void but not destroyed. When this happens it becomes Void Matter. While Void Matter exists it simultaneously doesn't. It can be seen and touched but it has no mass or energy. It is unaffected by any of the strong or weak forces and it cannot really be harmed by any one thing in creation. Even beings who can alter time and space cant affect it. Even being who can manipulate reality cannot manipulated it because it is not part of creation. It can only be damaged by attacks that are infused with multiple aspect of creation. However to most beings void matter is useless. Since it can only be affected my incredibly powerful energies and is so rare very few have ever been able study it much less make use of it. Prometheus became curious about the void many years ago and tried to study it. He sent special probes that had semi-sentience and wormhole generators allowing them to travel to the void and back. However like everyone he else found that studying the void was impossible, every probes he sent there never came back. So he gave up, no point wasting his time. However 50 years later one of his probes reappeared. This probe had not only somehow survived its trip to the void and become Void Matter but its programming and ability to travel through dimensions had also remained intact. However it was had been heavily altered. The probe had been the size of a small care but was now the size of a Prometheus head. Also it had originally resembled the Relic Ship but was now a black sphere. The probe contacted it creator, stating that it had taken this long for it to properly gather and calculated data on the void and the void matter it was now comprised of. Appone its retrieval the probe gave its creator all the data it had collected. After examining the it Prometheus quickly realised that this could revolutionise his work. However there was a problem. While the potential of void matter was incredible there was no safe way to use it. That was when the probe revealed it could control its void matter just as easily as it could its original biomechanical form. However there was only a limited amount of void matter available to use so he had to use it sparingly. After another 20 years of research (the work made easy by the probes data) he develop the Void Control Orb Prototype 01 (VCOP). However none of his bio-weapons survived its use. Their bodies just could not handle its effects, he needed a stronger test subject. He even considered using himself but even with his guyver he would not survive....or at least not as it was. It was this idea that pushed him to final upgrade his guyver into its current hybrid form. During the optimisation process he had the probe fuse a small portion of itself with his control metal and had the VCOP 01 infused into the armours systems. While not comprised purely of void matter, his control metal is now very hard to damage (it is effectively indestructible by any conventional means) and because the void matter used was formed from biomechanical matter it can also regenerate if it ever is damaged. VCOP 01 is located inside Prometheus's body and can channels, generates and manipulates the very essence of the void, essentially pure nothingness (it is based on the technology of the guyver's Gravity Control Orb). When Prometheus activates it his body begins to generate an aura of nothingness. This power is called the Ultimate Eraser because "everything" that comes into contact with it is erased. This includes space, time and all sub-dimensions of that reality at that location. Prometheus can control and alter the size of this aura at will. Using this power causes Prometheus's body to take on aspects of void matter (i.e. has no mass or energy, is unaffected by any of the strong and weak forces etc).This power is very unstable and is only used as a last resort. Any mishandling of the power could cause irreparable damage to the fabric of reality (at which point reality can no longer repair itself and is at risk of total destruction) or even erase Prometheus himself. Prolonged use of this power will will have similar effects. Because of this Prometheus cannot move while using the the Ultimate Eraser because it could disrupt his control. Among his other works he is currently trying to perfect the Ultimate Gigantic Armour that can make full use of his VCOP technology.

Question! Did Lucy really die? That was a huge mystery at the end of the anime or was that just a filler scene that never took place? First off the story goes on for a lot longer then in the anime and a lot of stuff happens. Everything plays out the same but she doesn't die at this point and Kouta doesn't find out about her passed until the very end. Spoilers Lucy also unlocks her true power as a Queen. Her horns grow longer and her vectors become ridiculously powerful. In this state her vectors could Drilled a 2+ kilometer deep hole through the bedrock of a small island, causing an explosion that triggered a 30+ meter tall wave/tsunami and then later sank it completely via chain reaction.It was stated that the vectors were for physically destroying mankind, additionally she thought her final attack(s) would kill everyone. However using this power this takes its tole on her body. At the end after finding out everything Kouta makes her promise not to kill people again but that proves to be impossible as she is constantly being attacked and also began to dissolve her body from overuse of her powers. Kouta is also wounded at this time. Faced with a choice givingin to her DNA Voice (the voice spoke to her as child and tells her to kill) and of destroying the world that had caused her so much pain and saving Kouta, whose wounds had been worsened unto death, she turned all her remaining energy into healing him (in the manga it revialed that her vector special abilities is cell reconstruction/restoration, giving a healing ability). As her body began to literally fall apart before his eyes, Kouta was given a gun and urged to fulfill his childhood promise to kill her before the DNA Voice took control and tried again to destroy the world. The Lucy and Nyu personalities held the third one back, but Kouta found that he could not kill his old friend, no matter how she wronged him. Before fading, Lucy urged him to return each year to where they first met, and one day, she would be waiting for him. The most vicious personality now had full control, but was in such incredible pain that it placed the gun in Kouta's hands, and in a mix of mercy and vengeance, Kouta killed the girl he knew as Nyu.

Ok so a few changes and updates to the armour. One of which is going to be taking the character in a very different direction the I originally planed. First the armour is now five times stronger than a normal guyver rather than three. Head Beam Addition - The beam of the hybrid armour is blue and is hot enough melt Boron Nitride in seconds! Mega-Smasher Addition - Upgrades: The armour can now regulate the energy output of Mega-Smasher allowing it to alter the beams strength. This ability was installed because if it is fired at maximum power Prometheus's Mega-Smasher can easily destroy a planet. The Dark Control Metal Changes - "However there is still a lot of mystery surrounding Dark Control Metal. Unlike all the of the other material of the armour the black metal it is comprised of it is completely unidentifiable. It is seemingly almost impervious to damage and on the one recorded instance of it being so it regenerated instantaneously" A dangerous new power will be revealed for the armour tomorrow and it is tied to the Dark Control Metal.

I been currese about this for some time, how big an impact has Guvyer had (I'm willing to be more than it ever gets credit for) and how many parodies, ripoffs, homages of inspired bys are their out their. Even odd things that could just be coincidence. Guyver itself was inspired by a lot of things such as Super Sentai, Alien (it even beat the Alien franchise to the punch on ancient aliens) and other manga like Baoh and possibly to some degree Devilman (the two series have a lot in common). So off the top of my head...... Well there's the "how did DC not get sued" rip off Zuggernaut! Zetman Possibly Genocyber and Cthulhu Tech Side Note - While doing this I came across one of the weirdest and most rip-offish DBZ fan characters ever! GENOCYBER "Genocyber is a horrific and terrifying killing machine created by Dr. Corey Gero. It was born out of a human body but its true identity is unknown as of yet.
