Ark Survival Evolved - My Bronto Base
Shin Mefilas replied to Shin Mefilas's topic in LET'S CREATING!
Hi everyone I'm back from my trip and my little girl is all loaded out! That trophy on the side is from a nasty Alpha Rex. we bumped into him by accident and while Atalante is tough, she not on that level yet so we tried to flee. As luck would have it Satanus (my nick name for him) got stuck and we managed to kill the evil tyrant. Once She's a higher level we will try to take on bigger monsters such as..... The Giganotosaurus The Broodmother The Dragon The Megapithecus and The Dodorex Also here's a little size comparison -
Yep

Been playing Ark for a while now and I've finally been able to build (for the most part) what had inspired to get the game in the first place. Allow me to introduce Atalante - The Dinosaur Hunting Landship She's not quite finished yet and works on hold because I'm going away for a week.

2) All post-optimization staff members must use their zoanoid forms responsibly and must adhere to company guidelines. (Tim: Seriously guys, the lounge on the Level B3 looks like a bomb went off in there after what happened on Saturday.) (Bruce: Oh lighten up man, we were just having a little fun, besides it was Paul's birthday.) (Tim: I don't call all of Squad 7 getting smashed out of their minds and challenging each other to zoanoid wrestling matches "a little fun"!)

Very interesting, this character wasn't known to me but this she and this series has really caught my interest.

Well after Enzyme ripped out the control metal the guyver went out of control and started devouring/absorbing Sho. Whether the booster creature attacked Enzyme out of instinct or because of Sho's desire to protect his friends we we may never truly know. The creature spawned from his arm was a mix of Sho's memories and its own predatory nature so its possible that this would be the case for the one Sho became. But as i said we may never know. But either way after being soaked in Enzyme's blood both the booster creature and Sho were destroyed. I would say it's at this point that Sho truly died. The Sho born from the control metal is a clone. But that doesn't make him any less Sho. He has all his memories and personality intact.

Never judge a book by its cover even if its very goofy, for example....

Do you think a zoacrystal, and or a Zoalord's body could eventually burn out? I'm really not sure. Archanfel's been around almost as long as humanity itself and he seems to be fine apart from his illness. He at least is likely a true immortal and may never burn out. But out of all the creatures in guyver his physiology is still a complete mystery to us. That may be why the Creators did that to him, they created a weapon that would never die so their only option was to make him sleep for eternity. As for the other Zoalords it depends on whether or not the Zoacrystal's they cultivated from Archanfel's are perfect or flawed copies and how successfully the Zoalord optimisation process is understood. While we dont know the full details its seems like almost all the Zoalords are just Barcas's best attempts to copy aspects of Archanfel, rather ironic when you consider how Guyot mocked Murakami for being just a prototype. Wit that in mind their is a possibility that because their not perfect duplicates they could one day burn out because of as of yet unknown flaws, only future developments will tell.

If you want to see how a good comic book movie should be done just watch GotG or Antman.

So whats your old favorite horror movie? For me its Eaten Alive 1977. Its kind of a sister movie the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Its slasher is a man called Judd who runs an out of the way bayou motel. He seems like an eccentric but nice guy but he has outbursts of psychotic rage which lead him to murder people with a scythe. However if you find this aspect of the hotel disturbing have no fear. For the motel has a very effective complaints department in the form of a huge man-eating crocodile!

Ok so I've watched the movie, here a short review with minor spoilers. On the whole I enjoyed the movie. Its different but still the same, like a food you eat all the time but with a different sauce on top. The best character is still Burt Gummer still played by Michael Gross. He's older but it feels like not time has passed and his performance is just as entertaining as it was 11 years ago. Burt's wingman for this film is Travis Welker (Jamie Kennedy) he can be annoying at times but he has his moments and he can be funny. Fortunately he doesn't brake the movie, like him or hate him but he shouldn't ruin your experience. The rest of the cast are good or ok, none else is particularly annoying. The story takes place in Africa and the creatures their hunting are a sub-species of those found in the other movies. So same creatures, different flavor. I liked this idea and the new designs are cool. Unfortunately there are no practical monster effects in the film. However it makes up for it with the best CGI the series has ever had. The overall production values for the movie are about somewhere in between those of the first and second movie. This isn't really my area of expertise so you'll have to judge for yourself. On the whole its a good movie, rating it I'd say it's about as good as Tremors 2. Both movies are good but aren't on the same level as the first. They also excel and fall short in different ways. Honestly this movie is way better then I expected it to be, the fact that I can call it as good as 2 is shocking. Also I've always given this franchise credit for never losing itself. Its had its highs and lows but its spirit, even after all this time, is still intack.

It has literally just arrived on my doorstep will start watching it in a sec. I have tried to avoid review but I checked up on Obscurus Lupa's site to see what she thought (she's a big Tremors fan). I skipped spoilers. She seemed happy with the film. Will post review as soon as I'm finished.

Godzilla vs Kong (It's Official)
Shin Mefilas replied to Mirabilis's topic in Japanese Entertainment
That would be awesome! That movie is the original VS movie. Although in truth the first crossover fight movie would be Frankenstein meets the Wolfman. -
Ok so whos you favorite? For me is Tremor from Mortal Kombat X

A zoalords body requires ridiculous amounts of energy to function properly. With out a suitable source of energy they burn out their biological systems very quickly. It similar to why the Enzyme III's have such a short lifespan. Their metabolism have been increased so much that they only have a lifespan of three years. Zoalords not only have this but also a ton of other biological additions which all put extra strain on their bodies. Just look at Neo ZX-Tole, his power surpassed Aptom's but is lifespan was reduced to 24 hours at best. I also think thats why Murakami was dying or at least part of the reason. His Dummy-Crystal wasn't producing anywhere near the necessary energy requirements for such an advanced body. But thanks to their Zaocrystals, Zoalords are supplied with enough energy to sustain them and effectively immortal.

I always took a little pride in the fact that I was into anime befor the anime boom. I was watching Guyver and Dominon Tank Police befor most westerners had even heard of Dragon Ball and Pokemon.

Basicly Thanos is everything Apocalypse wishes he was. Also Apocalypse is the biggest hypocrite in the Marvel Universe. He goes on and on about the survival of the fittest and that he's the fittest despite the fact that he's been beaten over and over again. He's so arrogant that he once actually traveled to Asgard and challenge Thor to a fight just to try and prove he was better. You can guess how that turned out for him.

Ok I'm going to go into a little detail about his fighting style. As I said it's self taught and unpredictable but I'm going to explain why. Original Adolphus like sho had no fighting skills whatsoever, relying more guyvers power and his own intelligence. While he was on the run he was hunted by Guyver I and chased into a sewer system. He almost died but was able to out think his foe and trick him into collapsing the tunnel after making Guyver I wasting power attacking him. After joining Zeus he was trained by Guyver III. She initially instructed him in Muay Tha, then taught him how to effectively combine it with the guyvers weapons and abilities. Thanks to his knowledge of biology, he was already aware of all the human body's weak points and could quickly diduse those of zoanoids, zoalords and guyvers. After some time he's fighting skills matched those of I & III. In all the time that has passed since he left earth he has never forgotten his training, infact due to his megalomaniacal perfectionism at that point in time he sought to improved on it. And he did this in a very unconditional way. By studying xenomorphs. He watched how they moved, reacted, attacked and defended. He even went so far as to spend periods of time in the hive on board his ship, mimicking the xenomorphs in their day to day tasks. He learned how scale walls and ceilings by using his Gravity Orb. In time he was able to, like the xenomorphs, to move and fight in a 360 degree battlefield. Making full use of his environment to outmaneuver enemies and strike from any angle with incredible speed, agility and grace. Also his inhuman movements while doing this often inspired fear in his opponents. Because he has lived so long and fought against so many foes he has incorporated many other self taught techniques into his style making him a very adaptable fighter. This combined with his power makes him a deadly foe. Anyone who's ever gone up against him and lived have attested to this however they say the scariest thing about him (even scarier then the way he moves) is his silence. He doesn't laugh, taunt, insult, threaten or growl. Not even when his hit, injured or angry. He just silent watches you with those cold, blue eyes analysing and studying you, peering into your very DNA. Seeing all your flaws and weaknesses.

Waferdanos - Sacred Vail: Evil Spears - WIld Dance!
-
I remember even to this day. I watched Guyver OVA 3 - The Third Shadow on the 27th of November 1994, My Birthday. I've been hooked ever since. Its funny I asked my mother once "What made you buy Guyver?". She said she doesn't remember but I can honestly say that it was one of, if not the best birthday presents I've ever had.
-
Hmm honestly Waferdanos. His very wise plus he must have very interesting perspectives on life and world being both very old and a plant. I could just sit and talk for hours with someone like that. Also I've always related to his situation. We both spent a lot of are lives alone and isolated until someone helped us free ourselves and enabled us to live lives we could be proud of (although his problem was physical and mine was mental).

Prometheus 2 - “Alien: Paradise Lost!
Shin Mefilas replied to Shin Mefilas's topic in General 'whatever'.
while it would be nice to see her again the movies seem a little to overreliance on her. Their have other female and male protagonists in the novels and comics that are just as compelling as her so you don't always need Ripley. Sometimes what fans wont isn't what we should get. -
I have no idea

Basically Sho is on the receiving end of misplaced revenge. But we really dont know what her goals are passed that. If she's like Lisker she may be power hungry but she seems to lack his arrogance. Unlike him she has likely had to fight to get to the top. She was just meant to be an symbol of power for his family, basically an ornament or trophy. Also while women work for Cronus it would seem likely that its a primarily male oriented organisation so the fact that she's become an inspector in spite of all that speaks volumes about her skill and determination. Of all the other guyvers Sho's gone up against she may likely turn out to be the most dangerous.
