even if guyver was to come to an end, this site would still operate and members would grow.... why? because different people of different ages are constantly rediscovering guyver and their search for anime and manga will lead them here. these new past translated chapters and future ones will never be released openly, so yuki will still be busy answering peoples questions about how to preorder the volumes for along time to come yet. elvis died in the 70's, yet how many people do you know or see who wear elvis tshirts and own elvis albums, who were born in the 80's and 90's? (i know, i've just compared guyver with elvis, but in the anime and magna world, guyver is up there with the best.) anyone know how big of a market guyver is in japan and china alone, most probably bigger than the population of australia! and for the rest of us already here, we would always be here, some interacting, some not. cause guyver is one of our passions. for example, look at yourself jupiter, you've said in short that basically you use to be a guyver fan but got bored and lost your passion and interest for it many years ago. yet, here you are today, an active contributing member. as for guyver anime, both out of control and the ova were really just stand alone since they branched off slightly from the original story. the 2005 version was the only series which followed the manga. and why there hasn't been a series2 could probably be due to ADV films closing down in 2009. i truely believe that if a new series was to be made, that it would continue from the 2005 series.

one more month to go, and another new trailer to keep us holding on. is it safe for me to say that this may be the best movie of the year? will have to wait and see, it's either going to be this or cap.america2. sorry, but honestly don't think godzilla or transformers4 are going to be better.

only the english dubbed macross tv series that was rebadged as robotech for the u.s. and aust.(i've got the box set of this too) actually didn't think there was a huge difference except for the voice actors? oh, except that i know the storyline was changed alittle so it could be tied into southerncross and mospeada and vise versa. but didn't think the script was hugely changed from the original japanese version. i honestly don't think i'd be able to keep up with the subtitles and action at the same time. just like the live action movie of starblazers(space battleship yamato), i've worn out the pause and rewind buttons on my remote watching it!

must be a really huge rock i did read about it somewhere last week on a reliable and official site, should of pasted a link to it here. unfortunately, started thinking about macross and watched a few old episodes, not to mention repeating the opening credits a few times(really loud) and it was all over for me!

i can only think of one thing i'd want to wish for and that's for a million more wishs.

yep, apparently the story is going to start with them already in deep space many years after the invasion of earth by the zentradi and the sdf1s' space fold. so i feel its going to be a movie with many flashbacks! i don't mind that, aslong as there's some action and meaningful and informative conversations inbetween and its done well.(please,no deep space love stories and don't cast nick cage in this, don't want every conversation to be depressing.) just have to wait and see i guess.

happy easter everybody, wow, what a day! cooked up some roasted potato, sweet potato, pumpkin and carrots in the oven, together with some garlic, chopped tomatos, olive oil, basil and oregano. some lamb chops on the bbq, marinated overnight with some virgin olive oil, crushed garlic, salt, black pepper, teriyaki&bbq sauce. and slow grilled over charcoal some chiken wings and drumets/wingets that i had marinated overnight with some sweet paprika, olive oil, crushed garlic, lemon juice, teriyaki, basil, coriander, salt&pepper. these turned out so crispy, everyone loved'em. oh yeh, im also half tanked typing this as i went through about half a carton of jackdaniels&cola.......nice! -
ofcourse, how can i forget ghost in the shell, watched and have both movies, awesome. have never seen the series though, any good? compared to the movies?

did you ever get to see the live tv witchblade mini-series made with yancy butler? only went for 2seasons i think. hahaha, and hey, nothing wrong with original astroboy&speedracer mate, these were done in the 60's and reanimated in the 80's and they still leave many of todays animes for dead. pretty much each episode had a really strong message to put forward to its audience, really loved it and still regard it as one of the best animes ever made. bruton was his name, pretty sure the episodes were called 'the greatest robot in the world'.pt1&pt2. the fight scenes were awesome and the fight between bruton and borra in part2 was brutal. i jumped on the chance to buy the dvd collection when it first came available many years ago, and i still throw in an episode to watch every now and then. have to admit, i still find some episodes real tear jerkers.

it is, cook it up all the time cause its quick&easy and tastes great. sometimes i mix it up alittle by adding some sliced hungarian salami or chopped ham/bacon pieces in with the chiken and during the last stir i'll add some pitted&halfed kalamata olives and crumbled fetta cheese. -
sorry to bring up an old topic, but thought better than starting up a new one thats going to be the same about listing your favourite anime's. ofcourse one of my fav's is guyver., but i guess it all started with marineboy astroboy(original) speedracer(original) G force(battle of the planets) starblazers fist of the north star witchblade macross/robotech transformers xmen tekkaman blade samurai x gantz sword art online

i actually didn't mind southern cross with the robotech masters, probably because i thought dana was hot and a badass. mospeada could of been better, i guess i watched it 'cause it was tieing into robotech.

whilst boilling up some spirali pasta, cut chiken breast into little bite size chunks and fry in a lightly oiled(extra virgin olive oil) pan. add some crushed garlic, chopped onion, pinch of basil and oregano. once chiken cooked, added a chopped tomato and the pasta into the pan, black pepper and salt for seasoning and stirred through spoon full of tomato paste and zigzag of sweet chilli sauce. continued sturring until skin falls off chopped tomato and served. tasted delicious. perfect villiage peasant food, as i call it. -
well, if tyrion gets killed off, maybe peter could get a part in the new robotech movie as a micronized zentradi! jeez.....im terrible.

BOOK 5, are you that far ahead?.......luckily they change and add little things and twists in the series so you have to watch it aswell. (such as the birth, as i like to call it, that was awesome, i was on the couch and went "HOLY F#@K :o",'knees to chest'. as for justice, well, he got what he deserved, thats forsure. his head on a spike was really what i was waiting to see! an opportunity arose and some one took it. but the way the events unfolded and the look on everyones faces of anticipation(those of certain main characters that plot and sceem, leading up to it has only opened more questions and speculation for me. when you watch the second episode, you'll see what i mean. and this is why i love watching, the endless theories of who and why that i think up before the next episode. that and ofcourse the great acting and cinema. were they all watching to see what will happen next between joffrey and tyrion? or were all, or some, waiting for that specific moment to happen? was it the work of a single individual who others received knowledge or a group effort? did the tyrell's pioson the pie(vaguely, did joffrey mention he was allergic to something in a previous season?) as his bride only ate from the crust and only joffrey was seen eating from the filling just prior to him taking his last drink from the cup tyrion handed to him. but the cup and jug of wine came from the table where olenna was sitting. did she slip something in it? if they did, what have they to gain? in this situation, doesn't the throne now go back to the king's family, back to cersei and possibly to tywin. or does margaery rule as a widowed queen? which opens more possibilties for me. was it tywin that plotted joffrey's death so he could take control of the throne and become king? or was it cersei herself, with all the goings on around her, she no longer was the center of everything and would finally lose control of joffrey to margeary once married. is she the type of character to be able to kill her own son?, well we were shown that she no longer felt anything for jaime once he returned minus a right hand. they had a bond of being siblings and lovers!, so yes, i do think she's capable of it.
-
actually, i think alot of people are asking who killed jon. but i think this is the way g.r.r. likes to keep his audience in suspense, and on edge, theorising while waiting for an answer. or perhaps, its so obvious that there could of been three people likely to of piosoned him that g.r.r. has just left it at that, forever a mystery of whom ever done it? i mean we all know that he discovered that joffrey was not robert's son, but the bastard of two siblings. both jaime and cersei new of his investigation and findings, so they're the two main suspects. the other suspect could be their father tywin, although he was off fighting or in some quest earlier on doesn't mean his spies in the capital weren't reporting to him the going ons' and he could of ordered an assasin to poison jon. as to keep the family secrets secret. while tyrion is definitly out of the picture for this, as i'm pretty sure he hadn't left the whore house until early second season but, one other theory i've been thinking about is it could of been robert himself that killed or gave the order to pioson his own hand, jon. as we saw at the beginning, robert was always drunk with an attitude and was not adhering to any of his personal councils advises. my thoughts are that perhaps jon went to robert with his findings, which enraged robert that his wife, queen cersei, could ever cheat on him, especially with her own brother! this would explain why there wasn't really any type of official investigation into his death.

its the least i can do. im glad that this can bring everyone that has worked so hard on the project some closure. thankyou to all of you.

OHMAN, what a second episode! didn't think this would happen so quickly in the season. agather christy, where are you? or are we going to need scooby and the team?
-
agreed, i never liked the animated movies myself aswell, not as much as the original tv series. although the shadow chronicles wasn't too bad.

i am a HUGE robotech fan. more so on the original macross saga anime and loved the amalgamation of the three parts which formed the english dubbed robotech series. so, for a long time i've been hoping for a live action adaptation of this series and i only just heard that warner bros. are planning one. aparently, toby maquire has acquired the rights and planning on producing a movie in connection with warner bros.(and maybe casting himself in the movie as the main character, which i'm not too hot on.) latest news i've heard is leonardo has agreed on a part in the movie! well, whoever the actors, i just hope they don't f@#k this up! i'd hate to see something i loved so much from my childhood get screwed up by hollywood. used to get chills of excitement up my spine when i used to hear and watch the intro of this series on tv back in the 80's when it was shown every saturday mornings. i still get the chills now.
