the idea has been around for a while, i know i'd be in line for a headset if it ever becomes a reality. without being over the top, with good scripts/plot, with just enough emotion to make it feel real and ofcourse the broad message of love conquers all, is really what drew me into this anime, i just loved it. now, i just have to wait for the box set i just ordered to arrive so i can watch it on my big screen,(might need to stock up on the kleenx) hehehehe.

on another note, not sure if anyone remembers a short live action tv series that was similar. late 90's i think, think it was called harsh realm, but was more about military use of a training system/simulator in a vr, which a high ranking general takes control and people plugged in aren't able to logout. pretty sure was axed after the first season, obviously most people back then didn't want to openup to the idea but i thought it had potential. i don't think i shed a tear watching it as much as this anime though.

not a set pack, i'm sure the dark hero version is the australian release version and the first movie with mark hamil is a US release

im glad i caught this thread, after reading it, decided to watch acouple episodes, ended up watching the whole lot all i can say is i need a new box of kleenex to wipe away the tears.

<p>those original japanese release sets came with some really nice graphics on the discs, 3D holographic of the unit G, where as with all the other international release sets only had the 2D image of the unit G.</p>

i decided to upload each in a seperate post so i don't reduce the quality much, as file size limit per post is 1000K. its a pitty these scans don't capture the art work that well, the colours really are deep and almost luminescent.

hey guys, i was just wondering, would it be a good idea to maybe place a watermark across these uploaded covers? i'm all for displaying and sharing, but i really think there should be some sort of deterent in place to maybe stop certain people from easily accessing and downloading possibly hard to find/own images of dvd covers and duplicating them for possible pirated profit. or to just display on another web site?

when i've got some more time i'll try to resize and upload some others. whats a suitable size?

The Armor Plus Figures? They have a few out now. Blade Evil Blastor Blade Blastor Evil Rapier/Miyuki Aki from TBII Sol Tekkaman Unit 2 Sol Tekkaman Unit 1 Plus Figma Blade was recently released, and Figma Evil is coming soon. yes, the recent release new figma figures, made by max factory are the ones i'm waiting for, for newly released figures they seem to be sold out everywhere i look, except for ebay, but your paying triple the price there.

could depend on different studio releases. i have an 7 disc box set which has all 49 episodes in japanese/english dub and english/chinese sub versions. i've had it for along time, can't remember when or where i bought it though. writing on the covers are all in japanese so sorry, i really can't help you with particulars. and yes, his name is still blade in the english dubbed version. obviously some episodes may have been missed or edited and shortend/episodes spliced together due to the violence so maybe worth to have a look around, there may be different versions floating around due to different release dates and possible different studio releases.

good question, well agito was able to create his own gigantic using the data that was imprinted on his cm from using sho's gigantic. but, agito was hell bent on obtaining the gigantic when sho first appeared with it, they could of just transfered the data through both guyvers cm so agito would be able to call the gigantic aswell. instead, it was some time later in battle that agito jumped infront of the crystalist and was swallowed inside when sho had called it. from that time forth agito was able to use sho's gigantic.

yes, i did mean the gigantic data in the original unit G cm. as guyver0 put it, quote 'would it be lost in the boost dimension, never to be seen again'. what i was thinking was that if the 'original unit G' is removed by deleting all the users data, would it also erase the gigantic data stored within 'original unit G', since this data stored is not part of the original unit G programming and obviously the gigantic can only be called forth when the unit G is active. fffeeeuuu, hopefully thats specific! much like a mobile phone, comes with basic programmes/data, you add apps, ringtones etc, but when you hard reset, you're only left with the original programming.

correct, i was actually agreeing with your first post in my own funky way, in that if a sonic pulse/blast is capable of passing through the armour, then its quite possible that the removers frequency would aswell. (if the host data is erased from the cm when removed, would a new host still be able to call forth the gigantic? or would the gigantic data also be erased from the cm through the process?)

i'd probably do the same as what sho is doing, try to right all the wrongs in the world, so look out all those politicians and greedy lawyers! hopeful i'd be a better fighter though.

ok, sorry ryuki, didn't mean to ruffle any feathers, sometimes when i type i'm speaking out loud and its normally all speculative which i should of mentioned in my first post. was sure when the two guyvers fought one used a sonic blast against the other, doesn't matter, so many twists n turns with added mystery in the series excites and mushes my brain at times. by the way, your avatar looks great with the added shadow

I don't recall this part, can you remind us where this happened? 2. how similar are you thinking? what evidence are you using? just need to clear these two things up :)/> well my memory isn't that great but i vaguely remember in one battle he's shot with a sonic blast or try's to dodge one while he's wearing the gigantic(why try to dodge if your immune to the effect) and i think the unit removers ability was shown in a flash back story.(would be some type of pulse, either sonic,infrasonic,electromagnetic) someone with a photographic memory or a great one would be of good use right about now. otherwise i'd have to spend the next two weeks combing back through the series, lol.

i have to agree, definetly the unit remover would have servived relics point, but who's to say guyot still has it? maybe archanfel took it sometime between removing guyot's crystal and finding murakami. also since sho is effected by sonic blasts while still wearing gigantic, would say that he would also be effected by the remover as it focuses a similar pulse, disrupting the cm and host. as for 2F, hard to say because her cm was artificially produced, would it still respond to the same frequency resenance to which the creators made their cm?
