  1. i think it would be great if you included images of the box cover art for the gashapon series on the wiki, images should be easy to find.
  2. you might want to add a zerbebuth
  3. thanks dude, much appreciated. thats interesting, if you don't mind, if you ever have some spare time could you possibly post up a photo of the model kit cover box, i just love the cover art and wouldn't mind seeing a good quality one of this model since i can't find one anywhere and didn't think it was available.
  4. i didn't want to start a new thread and thought this one was appropriate. was thinking the other day about all the figures, from the model kits right through to current figures. but more so about the early prepainted kits. done a few searches on the web and really did my head in, asking myself, could i be wrong, im not looking hard enough, surely there is a figure but i just haven't seen one, heard of one, looking in all the wrong places. then thought i'd just ask the question here. aptom has always been a frequently mentioned, well written charactor in the series, is there, or has there ever been a model kit of aptom1? his imitated form of the guyver? there has to be one.
  5. nice, i likey alot.
  6. i like to think the elfin range were recasts, although anyone thats got them can tell you that they are very highly detailed, perfect molded for recasts. but you never know, elfin may have been contracted to do reproductions using original moulds? i'd probably have to sit down one day and compare a couple of elfin models to max factory models i guess to come up with some sort of answer? anyone out there know any history about this company and their kits?
  7. pfft, italian company, i don't know where i got that from, but i fished one out and had a look on the box and elfin was a korean company here you go, hope this helps. by the way, do you know that aparenetly max factory had made two different types of thancras in the model kit range. i think it might of been unattentional as they both carried the same product number, but the difference was they changed the colour of him. they made a green and also a blue.(they might of run out of blue pigment colour on the production line, LOL)
  8. hay, you mentioned that you have most of whats listed in the max factory prepainted model kit range? if you ever think of selling off any, i'd be interested in guyvers 0,1,2&3,(maxfactory versions) still unbuilt in their boxes. they were recast kits ryuki, but very well made, good quality, if memory serves me right i think it was an italian company. i could be wrong about that though.
  9. i know the original maxfactory version you have there, i just did a quick search and was lucky enough to find the elfin version, definately saved me some days from searching through my storage boxs for it which i know you were going to make me do.
  10. thats it!, elfin also did a movie version guyver zoanoid. elfin also did the combat crew and mizuki, i'm 100% cause i've got acouple of sets somewhere.
  11. hi, pretty sure your missing combat crew and mizuki, something else aswell but just can't think of it at this moment. also, with the maxfactory prepainted kits i think your missing aptom5 and zxtole-glow in the dark version might be able to help and take some photos if you can't find any on the net. just let me know.
  12. and yes, even though i'm pissed off at the thought of the above mentioned, i'd still probably order 2 of each, because i'm an idiot and just got to have one!.....or.....eemm.....two!
  13. this is good news and also bad news, border line pissing me off! good news that the only licensed manufacturer in the world that does guyver figures is actually bringing another figure out. bad news is that the new figure is a figma, which would mean the bfc line would be discontinued and incomplete(i really doubt they'd be producing both lines) and pissing me off in knowing the above, that most of us will have a collection spanning almost 30years now, starting from the first lot of kits, to the prepainted kits, to the action figures, etc, and none will have the complete characters in the same line. if they do decide to begin a new figma line of guyver, we'll still be lucky to see maybe 1 or 2 figma's released per year. knowing this, they could of atleast started this line with guyver0, and not another guyver1. just my 2cents worth anyway. seeing that most figma's are priced around the US$50 mark, atleast they'll be affordable.
  14. bought not made, only done some assembly on it, thats it. you can always do her in a hot pink with firey red hair!
  15. does this help?
  16. my fingers are crossed that its not another F#K'N gigantic.
  17. i've only got the gloss version of blade, wasn't really impressed with it so didn't want to get the other versions of blade and evil. but still had to get sol 1&2, aki and rapier just incase another company doesn't pickup the line. i'm excited that max factory has picked up the line though and i'm hoping they'll continue it further than just blade and evil?
  18. thanks, much appreciated.
  19. woohoo, just got my figma blade and evil figures in the mail, i'm glad. really nice, only acouple cm's smaller than the armourplus figures, but atleast these ones come fully assembled. i felt really rippedoff with the armourplus versions when i realised i still had to assemble it. anyway, whats more interesting is that this figma blade by maxfactory is almost identical to the figure which comes with pegus.
  20. are there many books in the series that continue on from the anime? are you able to give a brief description and review?
  21. yep, for it to happen in the guyver community, first it would need another 25,000,000 followers! alot of fans would criticize his work, but do they say that they enjoyed his other work, like lost? howabout alias? anyone watches fringe?
  22. that goes without saying, definately with you 100% guyver0. input from the original creator is a must, thats worked for most of stan lee's anyway. i'd love a direct movie adaption of guyver from the beginning, all 30+ parts!, although i'd probably die of old age before episode 15 reached the cinemas!
  23. ryuki, should of atleast watched ep.4 aswell, thats about life and friendship. to me, i feel its just not real enough without death, because death is a part of life, its all around us. sometimes i feel a sad ending is more realistic than a happy one.
  24. i had no idea my little comment would start such a debate.hehehehe i mentioned jj because i feel that he would probably be the only producer/director in hollywood that would even touch an idea such as guyver since he was the only one who would touch another trek movie. and who could maybe make something that would appeal to everyone and not just guyver purists, otherwise it would be just another straight to video/dvd low budget sequel. my first thought was actually james cameron, but guyver is the wrong shade of blue for him! then there's spielberg, but more than likely somehow all of cronos personell uniforms would resemble nazi ss. micheal bays effort would just be something with alot of explosions and fireworks! as for the star trek universe, all the previous movies and series have happened, next gen, deep space, voyager all roughly occured during the same time period(star dates) the movie depicks an older, future spock that comes back with nero, who does mention that some 160years has past since kirks death.(vulcans have a long life span) which would also mean that picard, janeway, etc wouldn't be able to come and reset the timeline because the're already dead of old age aswell. hence why its said that this is an alternate timeline.
  25. wow, i only just realized that dark hero was made over 22years ago, jeez, time to send a letter to jj abrams and hope he agrees on making a remake! after seeing how he's brought back the star trek franchise to life with a great action flick, with a second one aswell almost finished, i think he'll be the best man for the job!
