Personally, I like the 2005 series the best since it is the closest to the manga in terms of story. However, I'm still confused on why the fighting and gore was toned down. Actually Prototype isn't Activision's cash crop. While I was disappointed on how the story didn't have any focus on the conspiracy of the first game's Web of Intrigue. I liked Heller for one, and don't think he was a mindless revenge man. Storywise, it made sense to make a new protag other than Alex Mercer. Spoilers!
