  1. BK, it's not like they weren't hanged for a purpose. The committed crimes against humanity, and now must be eaten.
  2. hmm, so no card or anything? Then that means it's probably not a driver, unless you recently installed someting. Did you install a new software into the sytem?
  3. Marvel treats Antman pretty bad, even in most cartoons and movies, he's depicted as an arrogant and overly stubborn ass. The closest we had to a decent Antman as a lead was in the Avengers cartoon series from a decade ago.
  4. Yes well aware of that. I meant by the sacrilege of having a national monument replaced by an evil corporate building. It's like having these churchill here... replaced by this...
  5. lol, that is awesome dude. Not sure if Washington would approve of having his monument (or any monument) used for an evil organization. But I'd imagine cronos would do that in real life. XD
  6. Oh? so they are going the way of Batman begins? Well it sounds a bit more promising to me then. I'm with you on the shield part. Actually, the old classic shield looks a bit cooler to me, though obviously could not be thrown like a Frisbee. Bucky... the one character who was never really supposed to come back. Actually I'd like to see him in a movie for once. In the previous CA movies, he was never really featured at all in either live action or animated form. If he is featured, I'd like him to star off as wise cracking, but eventualy become cold and distant as the horror of war dragged on.
  7. well, it seems you had a driver related crash. However, it was a critical one. Also if you have a videocard on that PC, it will likely crash your windows OS due to driver problems too. Believe me, it took me a good 2 weeks to finnaly sort out all the problems on my custom made PC, and as it turned out, the biggest problems came to drivers. This was not more then 3 months ago. As for the boot problems, your PC came with a BIOS motherboard guide. When loading it, set it up to default settings. It should help with the loading of windows. If not you can always reinstall windows. Don't worry, the more recent versions such as Windows 7 will create a new partition on your drive, thus avoiding the deletion of your old files. For me to really help (and anyone else with tech skill for that matter.) I would like a list of your PC's scematics and operating system data. That way I can have a better idea as to what I should troubleshoot.
  8. I did not like ANY of the acting... if you can call it acting.... in the Fantastic 4 movies. He had only one line in eitherm ovie I liked, everything else I pretty much felt was average at best. Maybe it was the directors fault, I dunno. He has a face to play the character, but I did not like him. I'd rather of had someone else play the role. Also I wish they would stick to a WWII setting. He seems so much cooler in that era. I really don't wanna see Cap in a modern era, I want to see that in a sequal.
  9. I love Boston Legal. http://www.livevideo.com/video/AFB47874A5634BF98FF13F7152FED2EA/sneak-peek-1-of-boston-legal-.aspx
  10. to me, my favorite was the original Godzilla. Dunno why, but the old classic horror themed Godzilla was so much more likable to me. The later ones didn't capture my heart as much, Only the one with Biolentta came close. http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/103/1/e/Godzilla_Neo___BIOLLANTE_by_KaijuSamurai.jpg

I'm no good with that stuff, well I did make a home based radio program with a circuit board radio kit. But that stuff is beyond me, and even if you built one it wouldn't be that strong, if you did manage to make one strong enough, then the FDA and FBI would investigate is since it's not licensed, The only practical use for such devices are for theifs breaking into people homes. (Wont explain how though)
  12. oh that is a classic song, I kindam iss tons of 80's music that used to play. Can't stand much of anything from the 90's and beyond unless it's rock.
  13. Sentai Parady
  14. that pic looks like a fusion of the two designs. Sorta gave the more realistic features of zilla, and yet retains most of the classic Godzilla's figure. The onr tjing I regretted about Godzilla was his face, it was so cartoony in many incarnations. Actualy it bordered on looking like Godzilla awas high. Yo fo shizzle mothra, that's some good *&$@
  15. I actually kinda like it.
  16. yes Mr.WhiteCaterpillarBrows really is the closest to alky in popularity it seems
  17. Strangely reminiscent of Wolf Man and Cub meets Zatoichi/Blind Fury.
  18. hah, good points. In all honesty I still like the guy, evil or not. He's got a one track mind and is very loyal. His evil acts are based off good qualities in a person. It's a shame it's for alky and not for the general good of humanity (though he might see it as the case).

Well, if you are an alien being, you can probably create fairly strong frequency of any type. Also, they don't have to guess as to which frequencies we use... we are constantly sending out signals into space and TV signals are particularly common and operate (at least in certain countries) under a specific bandwidth. Imagine the entire USA with it's FDA regulated frequency spanning across not only it's continent but also spilling over to south America, as well as a good number of EURopean and countries in the Pacific use the same type. Not consider that out of all these frequencies it's the most common video signal out there, fairly spread out, and also broadcast almost 24/7 on multiple channels. Overall, no alien can ignore that, same goes for radio signals. Difference is that there are a ton more radio signals used for countless things, but TV signals are much less diverse. This is why I chose it as the logical format. Of course, I could be making a big mistake on my part here, but I thought I had a pretty good thought process when considering it, even if it was for less then 5 minutes. When it comes down to it, the simplist thing you can do to communicate with a living creature is to emulate and immitate it's form of communication. We do that all the time with animals... it's how we trick ducks for our dinner.

I'm not sure what a perfect canvas would be but, if it had to be one, the best one should be a simple TV signal broadcast. They can do so by using a very strong signal directed at earth, hell Nazi germany managed to do a worldwide broadcast of hitler's speach back in the late 30's. Humans are sure to pick it up, aliens are more then likely capable of doing so if they can manage to reach earth. Also the video can be as simple as the aliens introducing themselves, or if they were serious about communicaing then they can send a equational language code in video format to offer direction of communication or an opening dailog. Only flaw with this method is that should the aliens who come across us be lacking in visual communication (such as them being a blind, sightless species) then iit renders this method worthless for visual information, but it can still be used to transmit code and can still get our attention easily. The reason I chose a TV signal is that it really stands out much better then typical radio signals. So we humans have a better chance of seeing it in all the noise polution in outerspace.
  21. I'm surprised that Balcus didn't even get a single vote yet. Then again, he hasn't actualy fought yet. He's always either in the sidelines, and got himself shot once.
  22. lol, you know, the way sipheroth acted in that video, especially when he jumps on the sofa to his theme, is exactly like my brother! It's further made funnier to me because he asked me to take a stupid FF pole, and I got stuck with cloud as my character personality, and he got sipheroth. >_< He even goes around all day with an MP3 player listening to that same music, albiet he prefers the movie version.
  23. I tend to view the more cultural and historical reasons for the existence of traditional western angels and demons. The Angels started off as guardians of pagan gods in babylonia, and demons were really an adaptation of thousands of years of myths from countless European legends and pagan religions to create demons. Before that in the old testament they were simply cursed monsters descent from Kain and Lilith. I find that many cultures and religions share many of the same concepts in demons and angelic beings. I used to think it was rather odd until I learned that Jews had progressed as far as Japan during the time of Rome dominence. Which might give a reason why these similar story's came about.
  24. purgstal all the way because unlike most of the others, he's actually got a conscience. Also, I like his zoaform even if others say it looks corny.

Yeah, that is a nice idea. I remember there being many puzzle like concepts in physical forms being theorized as a means of communication. But why use something as temporary as a crop circle, it wont last, and it's hard to read unless your in the air. Unless they are using Buddhist ideas in how communicating art functions, then I really can't make it out as a logical choice. In fiction, one movie had a mathematical problem that turns out to be a puzzle, then in turn when solved turns out to be a recording of a TV broadcast some 50 years prior. Then upon looking closer they discover blueprints for a device as well. (I think that is the order of events) The movie was "Contact" which in all honesty, had a pretty good concept of how we would react with such an actual contact. Though it's possible aliens may not even be as straightforward as the movie was... and in the move it was already vague to begin with.
