I was just thinking about them today, on how similar they are when taunting and joking around their enemies.

That's what I was hoping to achieve. A sort of in between real and manga. For some reasons the action figures serve as the best models, probably because of the accuracy of the work and the actual real shading on it (With a little enhancement.)

some questions in it's own about you folks...

Not gonna just watch it yet. I still preferred the manga over the anime. So I still have some reservations about watching this. Not that the old series was bad, just a tad spoiled by the more likable manga.

That is incredibly awesome. You'd never see Charlie Rose in the same situation, a shame really.

I agree, BB was one of the best shows to hit TV and to expand on the Batman Mythos. Men in Black, average show, though they did have a few memorable episodes. Godzilla was pretty good. A shame it didn't do as well. Spiderman unlimited... just too weird and long a departure from the main Spiderman plots, especially after the awesome series before it. Though I liked his new suit.

no, it's a legitimate animal that has been considered extinct for some time now. But most scientists say it died almost 10,000 years ago. But recent evidence have suggested that it was alive up until 2,000 years ago. Most of the fossils have been found in Argentina, a very cool climate area. Oh and just so you know... up until a decades past, there used to be a giant parrot that lived in the (Brazilian?) mountains. That is long since gone too and no I'm not referring to the newly discovered parrot like dinosaur (Mongolian Psittacosaurus) but instead on a Parrot that was almost the size of a human. The Largest Parrots left alive these days are at most the size of a medium sized dog. I wish I could remember the name. Which reminds me, ever seen a parrot pick a booger?

It reminds me of the legend of Sinbad. He was taken by a bird called the Elephant Bird, a bird large enough to eat bulls, and possibly baby elephants. This bird is believed to of given rise to that legend. I remembered reading about it as a kid. One of the things I noted when I was 8 was that one fossilized egg of this species was 3 feet in diameter... Wow, must oh had a sickening amount of calories. And now for the next image... Cruelty on the field.... *shakes head in disappointment*

okay, not so much as funny as is.... what's the word. I think I'll quote Neo. "Woah" Edit: Forgot to give you the name of the bird. Argentavis magnificens

Could simply be the same animation director, or copied from another director. But it's more likely that they are all using a similar base in setting up animation sequences. Apparently, these animation studio's have stockpiles of animation boards that are either reused for another project or never took off an then imported. They do the same with sound/voice effects and a few other staples. Actually... it's pretty ingenious if you think about it.

they weren't in the same game, because of different versions of Marvel VS Capcom 2. But still, they make for a nice desktop background. Again using mugen gameplay as the source of my desktop image.

that recent one. She looks like a adorable China Doll. As for the one with the caucasion looking face... she is perhaps a Ainu?

hmm, odd. Will repost, and may as well add to the image in a related manner... Naruto_Bebop.gif (1.7 MB)

odd... animation similarities. Shows how some animation directing is simply copied.

hah, you should look up an old English Dictionary. I to this day have to explain to people what Lincoln meant when he said "Four Score" ("score" being a full sum of 20, sort of like how "Twain" Is a sum of 2.) I double checked that word myself using my dictionary browser plug-in. So you weren't alone in the confusion of the word, I can only imagine the problems during the scanlation process the GA team goes through. Edit: Here's a link. http://home.comcast.net/~modean52/oeme_dictionaries.htm You can actualy come across a few characters names in here from the Guyver Manga... actualy it makes sense considering the age of Balcus and the others. Maybe I'll make a topic about it. I'm going to check on any new updates as often as I can to at least fix the grammer. In them. If I find a lack of noted plot details I'll try to fill them in the best I can. But I'm going to leave the majorit of the construction to the more hardcore fans who are willing to put the time into building the pages. I'm definately not up to the task of building them at the momment. Oh and judging from the work already done... it was originaly written in a different language then translated. So I'm definately impressed by the person who posted it.

yeah, the only none shopped ones tend to be the butt shaped trees. There are dozens of them online.

Mine used to slip with her paws over her head too and on occasion my cat would for a breif moment sleep like the cat in the vid. But this was the first time I ever saw a cat that seems to be sleeping like that on it's own confort and not because it buried itself. It's intresting none the less. Welll... there's one aspect of my childhood involving the Ninja turtles that would still confuse me. http://www.youtube.com/user/vguyver2#p/f/36/vGMfb60lc14

Well just went through many of the pages. Had used spellcheck to help clean up some of the misspellings, and also corrected some of the grammar issues. Wasn't aware about adding the notes. Will do that next time though when I next edit the pages. But I was very careful about what I fixed and posted, unlike my regular posts. Seems that the pages are comming along nicely, though slowly. Going to tkae us all a while to rebuild the nice work we had up on the wikipedia before someone decided to cut everything down to size to meet the sites standards.

Oh definitely. A lot of Japanese show's have gotten an overall quality downgrade. But it will eventually reverse, if not in Japan, then eventually in Korea or possibly China. Which brings me to another point. Korean & Chinese TV show's are catching up to Japan's, and have begun to cut into their profits from what I read. Not that the japanese studio's are in any trouble, but just gives you an idea about some of the problems they have trying to get dedication to a series. The same has happened to American cartoons, Especially in American cartoons. Ever since Warner Bros closed it's studio's again (after Pink and the Brain was canceled. What the hell were they thinking throwing in the most hated character from Tiny Toons into that series?) The animation world just hasn't been the same. Which is why we get crap like transformers... and why very simple low brow animation like Family Guy dominates. The only exception was Avatar, and it seems no one is willing to follow in that shows trend. The 90's had been the Silver era of animation, while the Loony Toons era was the gold. Now, we are in the copper era... I'm an avid cartoon fan. Me actually loosing interest in just about every cartoon show on the market is pretty much a good indicator of the problems around here. Hell... it's why Anime is the norm in the USA now.

Well, got a new version of Corel Paint, my new PC is running agian for the time being (been having problems with bootup and registry). So I decided try out the new program, and see how it turned out after 3 hours of toying around with it. Admittingly, not that great... but it's a start. Oh and here is the original image I used to perform this. I used the actual background of the image to try and add an efect towards the action of the character. Not sure if it payed off.

Haha, I like the way this cat sleeps. http://www.maniacworld.com/weird-sleeping-cat.html

...now this is the type of tree you can't have hanging at Madison Square Garden.

I get your reasons. But people can do both good designs/special effects and plot. There's little reason to sacrifice either one unless your budget is way low. Aside from hard times, you really don't need a hero to have to fight monsters that look laughable. I try to get into Kame Rider in a serious way (since it usually is dramatic in some way) only to burst out laughing when the most recent enemy turns out to be a talking halfman-half hamster with trashcan motif armor even if it turns out that said monster is the long lost twin sister of the protagonist...(and you know you'll love this ridiculous plot because it's presented in such a dramatic way.) See my point? Maybe I am being a bit unfair. But that's just me. Ah, and I am indeed aware about the separate T-Rex body, as you can clearly see the same dino head attached to it later. But it still look dorky and pretty damn strange to boot. Actually, the whole affair reminds me of this motorcycle exibit they had in New Jersey years back. It had several stands from local businesses trying to showcase their work. And like any business fair they'll try and get your attention. Well in this case, I ran into something similar to the T-Rex head. Except it was a torso-less legs walking about with a giant helmet with several samples of the custom helmet art the group was selling. Overall, I think running into that in real life made me less impressed by torso-less legs.

You know, one of the things that turns me off in Kamen Rider is the monsters at times. A good portion of them look serious and cool. But as of late, as monsters should be looking bigger and badder. A lot of them have started to look like giant deformed cartoon characters. Sometimes it's the CG, sometimes it's the costume. Overall it's the design that fails in both aspects. Remember the spider in Ryuki? It was a pretty good design despite the CG effects hampering some of the interaction. But in the recent Kamen Rider, we have a dude walking around with a T-Rex head attached to human legs... Am I wrong in despising the T-Rex head on humans look? Now this is forgivable in the Super Sentai series like the power rangers which is geared entirely to children in both Japan and (especialy) internationaly. But Kamen Rider has it's teenage and adult fans. I wish the series would start moving back into the horror aspect like it did a long while back, especially with their monster designs. If you have a silly or crappy looking villain, then having a supped up hero doesn't really matter, because there will be no interest in seeing him beat up the villains. you need good villains, even the monster of the week ones to be remotely threatening so that we can at least be left at awe at something.
