Yeah, fillers can be a very good thing. They can be used to fill in plot hole,s build up otherwise weak characters. One of the few good Naruto fillers had Anko's past with Orochimaru flashed out, and it was fairly similar traumatic and similar to sasuke, though the rest of the episode pretty much blew chunks. But most companies fail at fillers, and I really don't know why. You'd think they'd give things a bit more though, but then agian considering the nature of the show, Dragon Ball and others are fairly strange. Doesn't help if the producers aren't fans, otherwise you are guaranteed bad fillers from the getgo.

I am willing to be a filler writer for naruto's production comany... for FREE just to stop these type of fillers. hell, I'll even do character designs. I just don't understand what is up with the producers. I want the old Naruto producers, yeah they made fillers, but they were at least better animated and funnier. It's sad when the entire Omake at the end, was the only worthwhile thing in an entire episode. Seriously, I cringed and cried from frustration from the episode, but loved the 30 second Omake. The Naruto anime has... jumped the shark 30 times already.

This is pushing me over... the edge. I think I-I'm going insane... the fillers... The Fillers THE FILLERS MUST STOP!!! Talking ostrich... ninja ostrich...that talks... with a warrior Kangaroo on his side beating up powerful ninja's... I don't even care about spoilers... Naruto is inhumane to it's viewers... just horrible. Even the music, the MUSIC! It wreeked... the music was so bland and generic through out all the fights scenes... my god, they even killed the music of Naruto. Please *sobs* I-I don't want this anymore. I don't want Rock Lee getting beat up by furry critters anymore. I no longer want animation that's only fit for a low budget OVA. I don't want bland character designs likely designed by people with arthritis All I ask... is for no more fillers. You can even stop airing episodes for a year until the manga lengthens out for all I care, it's not much, it's cheaper then... wasting money of torture tools designed to repel fans. My god... this madness must end!

oh right, I forgot about Yu Yu. Never liked that one much though. Hunter X Hunter though I've never seen.

the fillers in DBZ, actually helped to explain a few things at the time. like who created the androids (before Dr.Gero was credited as their canon creator) amongst other things. Most anime have fillers, the exceptions are those based on out of print Manga, and original series like Geass. However, so many are manga based on currently running Manga, that they usually end up having to use fillers at one point or another. I think the only Manga based Anime I've seen so far that hasn't had a filler in it was Hajime No Ippo. Actually, they removed some parts of the Manga during the animated series, like when two characters protected a tire that their friend was using to train for a life changing fight from hoodlums... weird why they did that. But even they had to pull a trick ot extend the series. They stopped it, then relaunched it all over again with new awesome animation and retold the plot. It was actually cool to see a well done anime get brought back, and better then ever. This is of course on a monthly based series, which in turn is likely how they would bring the Guyver Anime back if the studio's ever chose to pick it up again.

man, it was absurd back around the turn of the year 2,000. The internet was filled with nothing butt DBZ geeks sprouting their love for Dragon Ball Z character and rampaging around AOL like maniacs too, with nonestop DBZ avatars and phrases. The internet felt so alien to me as a result early on as a result. Everything afterwords has been a piece of cake for me. I remember trying to RP as a guyver character back then too. Only for some guy playing a Dragon Ball Z character come in and say that he kill us all, and start stating how he can destroy entire planets with his pinky. It was a pretty unfair thing XD

so far, looks like it's moving in the right direction. A bit dissapointed they didn't make him more battle worn. Who the heck is on the battlefeild without a speco f dirt on his face?
-
Really? Oh you're right. You'd think that after all these years seeing Naruto I would of learned to recognize this Kanji by now. XD I like that though, show's that they are not a part of any village, just a person in the world fighting again a major threat amongst many.
-
Right on! By the way, any idea what that Kanji on the new Headband protectors for the alliance mean?
-
I can see why they let her drive, their yes are messed up.

true on many points, but as good an action movie as it would be. It bothers me if there's nothing noteworthy of the plot. I mean, yeah I liked some of the Dragon Ball movies because they were pretty stylish, but god, almost all of their plots were crap. However, Bleach does the same thing but you feel bad for many of the characters and their fates. In comparison, lts of other franchise movies have had mixed results. Look at Naturo, 2 great movies, but the rest were pretty average.
-
Well, before the pain arc finished, they were still doing the same thing. Though currently I guess it could be called the Danzo arc... though we've barely even scratched that other then the meeting dealing with the Hokage dilemma. (Trying to avoid spoilers here)

I'm reffering the the flashbacks and episodes in the past. Almost all of it is filler, heck they even recycled Animation from actual episodes and just threw in extra animation from the current animation team, which is why you can tell differences in the art and animation at times. In other words, they recycled an entire episode from years back, with only an extra 4 minutes of animation and branded it new.... That just makes me want to pull my hairs out. And if you look at the old Naruto, you recall alll those episodes you skipped after the Naruto Sasuke fight? Those were over a hundred nonestop fillers. The only good thing about them was the comical nickname's we gave the villians, like that one Shinobi with an ubrella that floated about. We called him Mr. Mary Poppins. And that one kid always inside the backpack bag, we nicknamed him peabags. Out of all the shippuuden fillers, the only one I actualy got to enjoy was the one with the ice crystal user. Only because they actualy had good plot developments with most of the characters. Typcally a filler is mostly strewn with dumb characters, like that annoying kid who kept asking everyone where his home was. I swear to you, he's a clone of another 15 characters with a similar (lack of) personality from past naruto fillers. I despised the filler with other Tailed Beast Host, just badly done after the cooler filler we had before.

I'm enjoying the show, still a little unhappy that Chad and others still remain underpowered when compared to their comrades.Chad is my favorite character, and it was him in episode 5 that helped win me over to bleach completely. The art, plot and the fights are pretty steller. And Surprisingly the fillers aren't half bad, while the movies are surprisingly engaging.

through out the pain arc, we've had.... what 10 fillers so far? That's 10 out of some 20 episodes. Some of these fillers would be forgivable if some of the character designs and plot were okayed by Naruto's creator, but that isn't the case. You compare it to a filler done by Bleach, and it's usually a 100 times better. Not only does Bleach's creator contribute character designs, but he actualy okay's and gives inputs to plot arcs. To top it off, he sometimes even give the show's producers characters and plots that didn't make it into the manga because of time contraints. Granted this means he's on a tighter schedule because of the anime. But at the same time, it puts Naruto to shame. Pretty sad since I love Naruto way more then Bleach.
-
man, this production company is insane. Fillers everywehere, with badly done animation, and to top it off, they give they mesh it in with the main story line... thus giving it a nasty taste. I find myself skipping 40% of the episode so I can just get some idea about what the filler says and then see the rest of the main plot unfold. There are much better ways of delaying a plot then this...

The Zoacrystal is still biological in Nature. Though I think the control Medal forming around the zoacrystal is kinda good look. I actualy wouldn't be surprised if it didn't just fuse within the crystal itself. I mena, it does that with Human skulls and hte brain. It probably wouldn't be any different with a zoacrystal. But there really is no way to tell, we may never see a Guyver Zoalord in the manga.

Well.. I have to say, this will make anyone laugh. No matter how many times I close a program or browser, and then I see this. I must my sides. Especially if I forget I set it up.
-
oh man, so so sorry dude. I didn't mean spoil it. I sorta forgot that you were seeing the series anew. >_<

The old Goku Superman thing has always been an interesting topic. Two being from a planet who were sent off as infants. Both grow up to be heroes of justice, with incredible abilities and single minded dedication. Both are practically gods in in terms of power, and to top it off, they both form a team of heroes to combat evil in the world and Beyond. Yeah, Goku was inspired by a Chinese Mythology of a Monkey, but also a bit of superman. It can't be ignored. But you know what. Goku was super original for his time, and he was presented in such a good way that he endeered fans for decades. Naruto is no different. He may of followed the same archtypes, and character models. But the series is incredibly well put together, and presented in a much better fashion. No one should hate characters born like that. Are you going to hate Batman because he's a fusion of "The Bat" and Zorro"? Shoudl you hate the Magnificent Seven for being based off of the Seven Samurai? Is one going to hate chocolate chip cookies because it was based off test cakes? It's like saying I'm going to think less off of awesome Norse Mythology because it's spawned from Greek mythology. Given the two I would rather stick with Norse. Much more badass. My point if you haven't gotten it folks (and help you god if you are more dense then myself) Is that just because something is partly molded off another, doesn't make it any less fantastic then the impact it gives us upon seeing it. Once it's given a life of it's own that truly stands out, then it's no longer a real theft of character.
-
You never noticed the similarities? Comparisons have been made for years. Of course I don't blame you for not actualy seeing the series earlier. But it was a big worldwide thing. Currently both Naruto and One Piece are big franchises that followed the Dragon Ball formula in many ways. Bleach did the same thing, but they took a Yu Yu Hakusho fused with Dragon Ball Z aprouch.

lol, he was vague, so i didn't even bother. Who the heck wants to go through the effort of hunting someone down like that?

On Facebook, you'll find me. Victus VonGuyver. Already have a few of you on the friends list, though I reallu don't talk much with any of you on that site. And yes, you guessed correctly, that isn't my real name either. But it's better then being called V. Some freinds like V, but a good number more don't. So Victus it is, since it means "to Live" much like my real last name.

you know, this is the third time Gai is fighting this guy. It's funny, they've hardly seen each other, but at this point you'd of normaly seen them become rivals or something. But no, this is mostly bussiness to them.

I wonder now, is it supposed to be a yellow flash, or is naruto's Orange flash name supposed to stick? Meh, gonna have to wait til the anime to find out.
