I'm going to try and aim to release one every saturday. so here is episode 4 PLEASE CHECK FIRST POST FOR THIS EPISODE covers chapters 8-10 that is up to the end of the fight with the demon brothers.

i remember that. so that was mixed up with canon? I didn't realise. I guess i'll find out when i get to those episodes. I haven't read the manga before.... i think when sasuke goes to the 5 kage summit.

yeah, well actually that wasn't a new thing for shippuuden. there is filler in lots of episodes I just think people weren't as aware of it until the really bad shippuuden episodes. for example, the fight with zabuza, the first one, the whole thing with the water shaped like dragons, that was filler crap. most of naruto's interactions with konohamaru was filler crap. all the material featuring shikamaru et al, was filler crap. up to now, I've turned 19 episodes into 11.

if he does, I think there's a good chance he would keep quiet about it. as he starred in the film, it would be bad for his image to admit that he reads scanlations because many people strongly believe it damages the author and publishers. in fact, crazy thought, it is entirely possible (maybe unlikely) that he is already on the forum and talked to us a couple of times. but we would never know.

actually, I was specifically thinking of you when i set this up. because you said to me a long time ago that you have trouble downloading them and also you made it clear that your screen is only a certain size. I had these things in mind. when you said black text on white is going to hurt your eyes, how does downloading change anything? the manga is always going to be black text on white paper. could you explain to me how it could be any different? I could see if i can set up some solution.

oh hey guys. I was waiting for a response to my post. we said we were going to develop some ideas or something. since nobody responded it seemed like you guys had gotten busy or lost interest. I didn't want to push it or seem impatient so I just left it. add to that, that i am generally pretty busy these days and when a thread doesn't get any replies, I forget about it completely. (speaking of which, I am still halfway through translating last months guyver chapter from japanese and totally forgot....) today i've been sorting out premises for my business, working out logistical issues etc, didn't check in on the forum until now. well that is since around 5pm. i think. there's nothing stopping you guys recording without me though, did you guys get on together? did you have a good discussion? if you did and have it recorded then pass it on to me and i'll put it on the japan-legend youtube channel, and upload mp3 to the forum. I'm not very good with these things, honestly. I don't feel good about this right now. I feel bad because i could have checked on skype around 5pm but i didn't. I could have posted in this thread again to make sure we each know the score, but I didn't. you guys got online this evening, and i wasn't there. I let you down. I'm supposed to be all organised, but clearly i am not.

yeah that does sound pretty thoughtless. I never really knew my nana or grandad. my grandad died sometimes last year and my nana died about 2 weeks ago i think. the funny thing is, I don't care. it doesn't bother me. they never treated me as a grandson, so I never had the remotest feelings for them. maybe if the last time i saw them was more recent, it might have bothered me a little, but I haven't seen them for years. I guess what i am trying to say is, out of sight out of mind; and out of mind, out of emotions. if you don't see somebody there is no way anything that happens concerning them can hurt you. edit: ah sorry, I think it looks like i'm trying to convince you to break ties with your family! no that's not a nice thing for me to do. please don't take what I say as any kind of advice. it is more like platitude or comforting or whatever you want to call it

sometimes mothers will look after the one they think needs it the most. even if they have done something terrible. it is difficult sometimes. I think it is best for you to keep a distance while there is bad feelings. that way you can avoid having your mee-maw see you in a bad light. even if you are justified being upset or angry, she might not totally see it and it might spoil your relationship. so if you stay away for a small while, then things might get better in that time.

my moral code dictates that people who treat you right deserve to be treated right. people who don't treat you right ought to be ignored and cut off. you said your uncle is disowned so i would imagine that you also have a similar moral. family isn't the people who are related by blood. family are the people who welcome you and make you feel comfortable. I have people related to me directly by blood, who i never speak to and have no time for really. love, trust, faith, friendship etc, these things need to be earned. it's not hard to earn them of course. most people can earn them just by being there for you, or by keeping you company and being pleasant company etc. that is my view on that anyway. thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I think increasing the following for guyver will be the most effective. if anyone reading this can help with the guyver advocacy project, think that would increase the likelihood of a guyver movie, because of how many people don't read guyver due to our run being incomplete.

I think this was said a while back, that they were continuing this trend of keeping the series linked together in the same universe. I forgot about that actually, with the juvenile nature of the show, it didn't seem to it within the same universe, but then of course in the kyoto episode, the foundation X turned up. fourze is a lot better than when it first stared but it still can't end soon enough for me.

something I have been working on for a few weeks now. after losing my hard disk and most of my data, I've gotten back up to speed and decided it's probably best if I start distributing instead of holding back. I present to you my project, Naruto Kai. I wanted a condensed version of naruto anyway because there is too much padding in many of the anime episodes. I never thought I would have the patience to edit it myself but then i discovered a way to do it with vdubmod. no encoding necessary. this means i can edit it in a reasonable amount of time. The editing is not perfect. if anyone wants to criticise the editing, they are welcome to do a better job. probably something to do with Newline and/or ADV. this is interesting though. good research. I'm not sure how effective our actions may be when we consider the size of these movies studios and companies. our numbers are not that significant in my view, but I am open to helping with any action if people want to give it a go.

that would take years! XD well, actually it is not simple, but I have managed to develop some good automation. I can copy and paste all images then bulk rename so I have two versions of each, numbered properly. then a photoshop action file that crops to left then crops to right etc. took a while to get it sorted but it works quite efficiently now. still not easy though, moving things into folders, opening batches of images into photoshop etc. pain in the butt love the outcome though. glad you like it as well.

no, it's ok, it's not offensive, I just wouldn't normally hear anyone call them self a nutcase in this case, I would expect 'nut' but that is the delights of different localities !

aha I see! slightly different use of the term nutcase it seems! around here, when somebody says somebody is a nutcase, it means they are mentally incompetent. that's why i thought you were talking about somebody else giving it 5/5 and disapproving. so you gave it a 5/5? awesome! you got B's and C's? cool, that's the kind of grades I got. not sure on your system, but B and C is a success, right?

I hope you have a good result! I want to go and see avengers, as soon as money allows. so it's not a 5/5? well i heard it's not amazing, but is still damn good?

it's not that i was using my phone to talk, i use my phone as a mobile internet hub. because sometimes the home internet connection is bad. I'll try again with the home internet connection.

hey guys, great talking to you this evening. it's a real shame about the technical problems. I like the idea of using ventrillo or teamspeak instead. alternatively there is a google plus hangout thing. if you guys have google accounts we can each take a look at getting that working perhaps. I have all the audio recordings but I don't think others will appreciate what we talked about due to the sound dropping out so much. if you guys want a copy of what i recorded, I can send it to you.

I loved it so much!!! I'm still wiping the tears from my eyes I love the entire concept of Naruto so much and this really did bring it to life in a very special way. The way they spoke japanese was a very nice choice, it really made the dialogue work very well and completely avoided it feeling corny or cheesy. costumes could have been a little better but who cares? it was awesome!!!

agreed. those movies didn't portray spiderman as how i remember him. spiderman was awesome but i lost interest in it for a long time. I love hos he moves in this, and how he reacts. "you found out my weakness!" ha ha ha. I will really look forward to this and i think another film I wish to view in the cinema.

its very odd and interesting at the same time. I've never seen such an approach to adjusting the guyver form before. very original. I like what you did, the shield (?) is interesting and how the sword goes straight out of his hand.
