i could go to a hobby shop but it'll probably be fairly expensive. I know the process of weaving though so I'm fairly confident i won't need much practice. I'll just capture some video of the things i have made. I'll make a thread about crafting to save your blog.

oh yeah. those dreams are the type that instil a sense of utter dread into me. it's not like i wake up sweating or anything, I don't class them as nightmares, but they are certainly the most scary that i can imagine. scary in the way of.. mortal fear. not like panic at all. one dream, I was at a coastal town and a tsunami came. i could see this wall of water, maybe 1/4 of a mile high, moving steadily towards the town. another was where i was happily spending time with friends in a cafe when in the near distance (maybe 1/2 a mile away), i saw a mushroom cloud. these type of dream... I don't experience dying at all. all I experience is that knowledge that there is absolutely nothing i can do. there is no sense in running anywhere because it is not possible to escape. I know that the end will come very shortly and it is that mortal fear that sticks with me.

he he, i think it's probably the generation gap actually only because i never had meccano either. but i always wanted it XD anyway, I went to the hardware store today.... omg the staff are so clueless. after a 2 minute walk around their store, I knew more than they did. I asked them about their metal with evenly spaced holes. they said they didn't have any. ORLY!? why did i see some 3 aisles down then? so after lots of wandering around... I actually ended up with nothing. they wouldn't cut the wood for me so my only option in wood was a 3 metre long plank. the metal would have been too expensive it seems. I might go some other place and look at options of getting some type of plastic. I can knock pins into plastic without fear of it splitting.

wow, I'm shocked you don't know meccano! meccano is a 'toy' that is basically a construction set. it has lots of pieces of metal with holes at regular intervals that you can put bolts through.

ah, i can use extra bits of wood to secure the corners. drill the holes for the pins. that makes sense. good stuff. i got a good hand drill with a few very fine bits. thanks for that, I'll have fun. --------- hmmm I just thought... I don't need to get wood and do all this fancy trickery. I can just use meccano.

sure, can't hurt I'm pretty good with this kind of thing. I'm sure the important things are - measurements. same amount of pins each side, being half the amount as the top. firm, equal joints on the base. what technique did you use to prevent the pins from splitting the wood?

you know better than I do. remember, it's what you feel about it that is most important.

wow, i looked on ebay and found those looms to be quite expensive. I am pretty sure i can get a couple of cheap pieces of wood and knock them together in a satisfactory arrangement.

i don't get the sense of a nightmare from this to be honest. maybe not a happy dream, but not the kind that makes people wake up screaming. do you come from a large family? perhaps your parent are very devout in their religious ideals and this feels like you are somehow distanced from them. there are some thing which you would be scared to talk about because of any consequences. from this, it seems like your life is very controlled, almost like a soldier in an army, yet the army sergeant or whatever they are called, that is either god, or your representation of god, which may be your father or a pastor, this is very strict and very scary.

i thought i heard that mystique was nightcrawlers mother... did i get that right? I'm not too clear on these xmen to be honest and i don't know exactly who azazel is anyway, or what you guys are all talking about in here

aha, that makes sense. if i buy it it will be much easier to construct i want to do this. i would have to buy some fancy wool. and make some wonderful garments. I'm all pumped up, I wanna kick some weaving ass!

we finally get to see the loom! wow, that is very awesome. I think i'd like to give it a go sometime. if i can get the materials.

ahh... you know, my welsh is not good and i had forgotten the names for england scotland and ireland, I thought of the name for the english language saesneg, which is the language of the 'saeson', or saxons. didn't make the link of course. I had forgotten that england is lloegr. scotland is yr alban and ireland is iwerddon.

why would that guy put up a new version? there's a wonderful quality HD already on piratebay. yaaar. I really enjoyed this. the music is awesome. i do think though... the pacing is a little busy. I'd like it if they slowed the pace just a little bit. darkguyverfan, that guy you said was shallow.... the corresponding character in shinkenger was pretty much the same. i think they did well with it. this is perfect, the acting was a nice style just like the old power rangers and it's not trying to be too 'special' like those crappy disney ones. trey, I didn't notice any black bars, but it's possible that black bars appeared on your screen because of the aspect ratio. they've done this in 16:9 as HD needs to be.

y'know, I think i've lost all semblance of the naruto universe. it's all this dragonball I've been watching. yeah, the fillers end now. new episode back on track. don't think i'll bother with it just now. i think it'll be confusing to watch naruto after watching dragonball for so long. I can still read the manga.

let's hope it doesn't cause any problems. I think i can be patient enough to watch this even if it is in hte wrong order. I think i'd like to keep up to date with you guys let's see if I can find this. edit: wow, that was easy. ok, maybe it'll be ready by tomorrow

yep I've heard the name Albion. that is derived from Irish sources I think. it's possible that the name Briton is more sourced from the Romans. I've not done a lot of research on where the different names are sourced.

i studied it and figured that there is no way for me to work on it quickly there is so much detail in some parts of the drawing. It turns out i ws kidding myself but certainly nice to see teh individual frames. very nice work.

they aired episode 3 first? WTF? what have they done... this was great news and they are treating it like they treated enterprise? this is going to destroy it before it has even had a chance?

bobby, i think we're gonna need more than a two word post to figure out just exactly what you are saying and who you are saying it to. I'm sure I've spoken to you about that before.

youtube video is better that site you linked.. couldn't get it to work. scripts and all that. but thanks for posting, i wouldn't have known otherwise. that is a interesting trailer indeed. i wonder what is happening to earth, those cities look odd, I can't make it out properly.
