I've only just noticed this section! So here I go. I'm Gaz, a fan of the guyver since the mid 90's when blockbuster videos had a small anime section and my brother would bring them home to watch. I'm 31 and live in Northampton, England. I work in construction. I watch a lot of anime and that takes up all my spare time between work and renovating my house. See you in the forum!

Ultraman is epic. Old school live action Japan greatness!! Totally check it out if you have the moment.
  3. 17 years ago today, I officially joined Brian O'Sullivan in making a dual fan-fiction based in the same world. When I joined, we did a small collaboration picture of our two characters together... And since we are back, and updating the site, we figured we'd do a new one to celebrate. That's right... All the way back in 1998. I've been doing this off and on for 17 years. Scary. *Note* Brian did start the Warrior Guyver fanfiction site before this specific date, but this one is related to the pic in question.
  4. So. I should have done this a while ago. But I'd like offer Sully congratulations for joining the staff team. Also I would like extend my thanks for what he's doing for Japan Legend.
  5. So the Arthurian stories are incredibly complex and difficult to follow. There's so much going on and happening I don't have the faintest idea of it's chronology, the order of events or even in what year it was supposed to have taken place. Is there even any actual historical evidence to him, or some physical evidence? All I know is that he was supposed to come from Britannia or tradition Wales; before it was named Wales.
  6. Basically Sho is on the receiving end of misplaced revenge. But we really dont know what her goals are passed that. If she's like Lisker she may be power hungry but she seems to lack his arrogance. Unlike him she has likely had to fight to get to the top. She was just meant to be an symbol of power for his family, basically an ornament or trophy. Also while women work for Cronus it would seem likely that its a primarily male oriented organisation so the fact that she's become an inspector in spite of all that speaks volumes about her skill and determination. Of all the other guyvers Sho's gone up against she may likely turn out to be the most dangerous.

Banks are tied to governments. They like to have as much PTO as they can. LOL! I want Flag Day off!! lol, that'd be nice. The more pto the better.
  10. The vast majority of people think this is the case. Shows how sad their thoughts truly are.
  11. Didn't get the memo? Men can't be raped by women...I could post all sorts of stories on this subject...

  13. Damn! Has it been that long! I remember I was searching for anything Guyver after I discovered Dark Hero and the 12-part series on VHS. I stumbled upon the Warrior Guyver site and fell in love even more. I was 8 or 9 years old when I discovered it (1998 or 1999). Crazy! I remember reading the fan-fiction and using all of my parent's ink from the printer because I was printing all the fan-art! Haha!

Yup, I've heard of her. That song in particular was the opening song for Gurren Lagann. But to be honest, I've never really paid any much attenton to her.
  15. @Jupiter: I don't really have any plans for Halloween to be honest. I may plan on changing my profile pic of Lydia on my Facebook page afterwards, but I might not. But no serious plans: Hi everyone. Apologies for my absence recently. I've been pretty busy with a lot of stuff the past couple of days. I didn't go on my hiking outing on Thursday; it was cancelled. However, instead, I'll be going to Columbus on a trip with some friends. I have some money saved up so I can buy something at a book store if I can find it or order it. I've also been busy following the FIA WEC race from Japan that will be on tonight. Audi have modified their cars and their performance is on par with Porsche in terms of pure performance and they're looking a lot better in terms of performance this weekend compared to the last couple of races. Audi Media Center and Michelin Le Mans Live's Flickr and Facebook pages have photos of the new Audis and other cars that are racing this weekend. Also, I've been on a bit of a fall/Halloween kick, going so far as to use images of Lydia Deetz from the Beetlejuice animated series as my forum avatar (long term) and as my Facebook profile pic (at least until the end of October). I grew up with that show as a kid and I always liked Lydia in the cartoon. And now that I got some photo stuff figured out, I'm using images of her for the stuff that I've mentioned. So that's what I've had going on recently. I'll be back later
  16. I hold honesty to be ones of the most important things. It's a matter of respect and trust for me. I would add to this though, there are ways to be honest and not let somebody think something you don't want them to. I guess you might call this subterfuge? it's a manner of speaking where you don't give away something or you speak in a way that leaves room for assumptions. these assumptions can be prompted by context or by intonation etc. for example "do you like my new hair cut?" "oh, it's delightful!! (that I didn't get a haircut like that because it looks horrible) " you keep the rest of the sentence quiet so as not to hurt feelings, but it's not like you're lying or anything.

  18. ....uh?! I think I missed the part of any sanity on this one... She should be tried and punished. The father is nuts. Age gap wasn't that much?! No. Society is crazy as is the system.
