There's been a lot of debate in private with melvin junko, and we've been talking about the name for Apollyon/Apollon. There was a lot of t- and fro about the different reasons for one over the other, but what it came down to was, the spelling that Takaya sensei used is very common all across the Japanese language. it isn't a special spelling, it is standard and it refers to the mythical figure known in English as Apollyon. So hopefully there will be no objections from anybody if we start using the name Apollyon from today forwards?

Back in the day, we buy the comics if we want to read it, regardless if it was in English or not. They do know the difference between a right and a privilege right? Given his logic, that makes all the people in Japan Derps because apparently they are paying for something free? I guess a lot of people have no idea what copyright infringement is. I think we need to make a thread of places where the Guyver manga can be purchased for fellow Guyver fans looking into purchasing the series or whatnot. I just spent $40+ on eBay getting just two volumes (as an artist that's a huge cut into my paycheck). If you guys know of any places that sell the manga or series products (legally) please post a comment so it can be added to the list. Online: Guyver Advocadcy- they get the manga for you, but take a bit of time. eBay Amazon Yesasia Physical places: Kinokuniya (San Fransisco, LA, Chicago)- last checked to have the Chinese volumes, not Japanese.

For me it was always Mundus from Devil May Cry. He was the brother of Sparda who was wedded to an angel named Eva....who had two twin boys named Dante and Virgil who are Nephilem. Although in the original game from 2001..it was never stated Dante and Virgil were Nephilem and it was never stated that Eva was an angel until the 2013 game...DMC. Mundus was the demon king and Sparda was the dark general of Hell's army. Mundus was really pissed off when he found out that Sparda was sleeping with an angel...he knew nothing of Dante or Virgil who were hidden because Sparda knew what would happen if Mundus did know. So....Mundus tore her heart out and ate it. The guy is practically a god and the most powerful villain in the DMC universe. He has a reputation for being a really big dick. Although Virgil would sit to being the second most powerful villain being that he's Nephilem. The first video I have posted really gives a good presentation of Mundus's cocky attitude and shows the kind of bastard he is. Mundus see's himself as a god. So he created Limbo to rule over mankind and basically enslaved them without them knowing it. Final Fight. old DMC

wow!! That was incredible!! I love that so much!! I'm definitely gonna watch that when it comes out!!! I wasn't impressed when i first saw it because I assumed it would be catering mainly to guys, but it so isn't. it's like ugly betty mixed with one tree hill, mixed with ... so many series i really enjoy. It's definitely girl power! I CAN'T WAIT!!

I saw this preview recently. It has Tom Hiddleston, who played as Loki in Thor. Think it will be any good?

Hi everyone. On Tuesday I went hiking to a waterfall at Mohican near Loudonville. I actually had fun walking though the woods and looking at stuff, and I'll probably do it again later this year. The other main thing I did on Tuesday was site seeing though Mohican. To cap that off, I go up to Cleveland on Saturday to the zoo. I'm hoping to see the aviary up there and check out the owls that they have. You can complain all you want that its not free but by paying your are contributing to keeping the series going, so why bitch at all? Would you rather it be free but the manga got canceled again? I can honestly say that even if someone else made the series avaible for free I would still pay through the Advocacy in order to keep Guyver going.

Real Guyver fans don't whine about not having a free translation, especially when it takes hard earned money away from Takaya-Sensei!

It's not a problem at all. The issue here is that no one else is doing it. So people bitch and whine that they can't find free stuff. However the Advocacy decides to release their stuff is up to them. And as the only one releasing it, they can do it how they want. If they don't do it, literally, no one else is, so it won't be available freely anyway. So it's a moot point. If another group picked it up, and started releasing chapters, then the Advocacy way of doing it would indeed make less sense. If the people of Reddit, haters, or whatever, REALLY want the manga translated, they should stop bitching about how the Advocacy does it, and try and convince someone else to do it.

Seems plausible. But I think he's likely to be very careful with that... maybe he even had himself 'immunized', shot up with the anti-Aptom virus just like Neozektoll and Enzyme III.

Going by what we know, Guyot has been down graded to the power of a proto-zoalord. While he still will have some of the abilities he had when he was a zoalord they will be noticeably weaker and his stamina will be must lower meaning he can only stay in battle form for a very short period of time. Aptom now has more abilities then most zoalords, while I dont think he's quite on their level yet in terms of raw power he's certanly more powerful then a proto-zoalord plus he dosent have the stamina issue they do. Guyot will really need back up from hes Unus in the fight, from what we've seen he's been letting them do all the fighting every time he's been in battle which would imply he knows his limits and tries to not wast energy if he can help it. Its possible that Guyot could, like Murakami, have a very limited life span and transforming pushes him closer to the end of his life. However if Aptom can absorb the Unus, Guyot wont have a chance.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the end of Richard Guyot. Aptom had planned to years ago.

I chose Li not really for his personality, but I thought his ability was just wicked. I like Archanfel, Guyot, Imakurum, and Shin as well, but Li was the only one that had a power that made my jaw drop and go "well that was cool". Also I like Khan because come on, who doesn't like a giant kaiju throw down? However on the topic on Balcus being evil I think he isn't evil per say; just cold and calculative and very loyal to Archenfel and Chronos.

Caerleon. He's the best looking haha. Due to my appearance I've always identified with the pretty boys in fiction like Nightwing from Batman, Scirocco in Zeta Gundam, Caerleon in Guyver etc. He was my favorite before I saw his Zoaform, which I didn't really like at first. I was hoping he would have a humanoid face like Arkanphel, Purgstall, Shin, and Yentsui, but it eventually grew on me and now I really like it. Even more that I've seen Cannibal's light purple coloration of him. It really sucks that he had to be the sacrificial lion to show how dangerous Apollon is. Really would have loved to get his backstory. Actually would have loved to get ALL of the Zoalords backstories, but it is what it is. WOO HOO REVIVING OLD THREADS. EDIT: He's also extremely loyal to his friends Yentsui, Waferdanos, and Purgstall (some of my other favorites) and willingly took on someone he knew for a fact was more powerful than he was to protect there Zoacrystals.
