I'm just going to pretend Apollyon is secretly a radioactive chipmunk, and just allow myself to keep the mystery alive about his identity a little longer.

I'm going to be obstinate and refuse the obvious with small facts.

seen Apollyon use different Zoalord abilities. He could have access to all the powers or he could copy cat, using the abilities of his enemy.

After all, Guyot uses the same attack.

As far as I'm aware Guyot never used the incision wave, it was always Murakami and Imakarum

But Larz does have a good point. We know Apollon can use other zoalord abilities, but based on his actions of taking Tetsuro and Mizuki, plus chasing down Guyot, it can be inferred that he may be you know who.

 

For all we know, he could be chasing down Guyot to find out if he still has the Remover.

On page eight it looks like there is some circuitry in Apollyon's hand. I am not sure if that means anything, but I kinda find it significant in some manner.

After the appearance of Guyot's spiderform to FGII and we saw Apollon at the crime scene he said Guyot would lead him to the rogues; Jearvill and Kurumeggnic, that's who he's after.

Well Apollyon wants Guyot alive for something since he only severed his legs.  It's all pretty interesting.  I'm going to go against the crowd and guess Apollyon is actually a unique character and all the similarities and stuff are all just a red herring.

Does anyone remember the attack Guyot used when he nearly severed Murakami's armat relics point? I've always assumed it was ths incision wave. I figured they both had the same powers cause he's the prototype for Guyot.

forgive me if I remembered wrong, but I thought he did totally sever his arm and wasn't that an energy blast straight from his zoacrystal?

He tore his arm off through brute stregth by standing on his back and pulling it off.

Guyot severe\tore Murakami's arm two times, first was in book 4 and he used his Zoacrystal (at least it's shining here right before Murakami's arm severed):

 

And in 2005 anime it looks like Guyot fired an energy blast, just like Yuki said.
 

Then in Relics Point he tore it just like Super Existence said.

I feel as though the fact that Sho/Aptom noted "That attack..." makes the fact that he is using such a similar attack to what Murakami/Imakarum used significant. This is probably Takaya preparing to drop the twist on who Apollon is. I'm still hoping for a new character, but this one point makes it seem unlikely at this point.
