For me, its Commander Gendo Ikari from Neon Genesis Evangelion(I've only seen the series up to episode 19 by the time I posted this), and He's one cold hearted ************. He doesn't care about his son, or have true respect for human life. I'll put a bullet through his skull, if I don't torture him first.

One of the only anime characters I truly, devoutly despise is Envy from FMA. Though Charles di Britannia from Code Geass comes in a very close second.

Yeah but there was the whole love affair between her and rick. She was supposed to be like a symbol of beauty to him, but its funny how he ended up going after the older lady instead.

I hate cloud not because of the chatacter himself. I've actually never played FF7 or watched the show but I hate him because of the hype people talk about him. I can not tell you how many times I've had to end a decent conversation about ANY final fantasy game, and some ass has to be stubborn and talk about "but cloud is so much better cuase he's like the clone of sephiroth, and sephiroth is like the single greatest enemy in final fantasy." Please, there's so many cooler things about FF than just #7. I'll admit 7 was probably ground-breaking at the time and its probably one of the top 5 or 3 (I don't know cause I never played it) But its not THE best one. There are a lot cooler characters than cloud.

Plus isn't he a big d che? My brother told me at one point in the game he jumps for joy at the chance to wear a dress or something? I've seen him and I've seen how he acts and its just too stupid for me. You can take the "I'm bad and I want to do this alone" thing for only so long. Plus Vincent Valentine was the real best character of that game.

You should try the game at least once just to get an idea of what everybody is saying. Also, the cross-dressing scene only happens if you find the right items, and it plays out with Aerith and Tifa wanting Cloud to make a 'sacrifice'. And Vincent is a badass.

Nena Trinity is just so... wrong. She's mentally unstable ( even before her brothers were killed), and is the entire reason Louise went to the A-Laws. Just because she was upset the people at her parents party, which she was flying by, were having a good time. Thankfully it was the incident that had the crew of the Ptolemy finally attack them... but still, she doesn't everything on a whim, and laughs about it.

I was originally thinking Ribbons Almack, now that he's proven it's his own ambition he's following now... But Nena is so much worse.

Nene Trinity - Gundam 00 (Don't like her because she's a complete psycho bitch)

Rukia Kuchiki - Bleach (She is just so damn annoying that I could never get used to her but her character has gotten slightly better in the latest arc)

I asgree with Decade Warrior, Sasuke is probably one of the worst characters ever because he's such a little bitch. My brother became an outlaw to save the village so let me destroy the village he did this for. Makes no sense.

And Shinji is awesome. He may be a little girl sometimes but I mean I think its what makes him more realistic so that's why I like him.
